Works great!
I have suffered with mild acne (tiny spots with the exceptional big one) on my checks and around my jaw line since I was about 14. I started using this nearly a week ago and have seen a lot of improvements. For people who are acne prone like me you will seem to think your skin is getting worse after nearly a week of use but that is just the wash drying out your skin and bringing up the head on the spots for them to heal. My skin has looked slightly more "spotty" but these are only spots that were lying under the surface of my skin that I could see waiting before hand. I haven't had any NEW breakouts or spots since using this, I would definitely recommend to acne prone/oily skinned people. If you only get the occasional spot and aren't acne prone I wouldn't recommend this as it will make your face peel real bad and if you have used this and don't see improvements, give it time, it's just getting rid of the underlining problem and spots you had beforehand.

Pros:

-Cleans deep down
-Gets all makeup off
-Cheap
-Gets rid of any little bumps

Cons:

-Could smell better, but it isn't terrible

I've used this facewash for almost 5 years now because it doesn't have benzoyl peroxide(I'm allergic to it). It's never failed to get rid of any bumps that I may have gotten. I would recommend this product to people with very VERY light acne and not super oily skin. If you have severe acne this may irritate it a bit. So all in all, I love this product!!

LOVE this cleanser!!!
I am 44 years old and I STILL battle with acne and VERY oily skin. I just decided to try this cleanser again about a month ago (It worked very well for me in my 20's also). Within 2 weeks, my skin was clearer and brighter than it's been in a long time. I use it 2x a day washing gently with my hands and I rinse it off gently using a soft washcloth. After cleansing with this at night, I also put Neutrogena's On the Spot over my entire face. In the morning after using this I use Seban pads for extra oil control. With my skin, I find that using this cleanser (which is an exfoliating cleanser with 2% salicylic acid), before applying benzoyl peroxide has given me the best skin clearing results in the shortest amount of time versus using a non-exfoliating cleanser. I HIGHLY recommend this cleanser with the other 2 products I mentioned above if you're battling with VERY oily skin, large pores, blackheads and pimples.

Pros:

Works good for the first 2-3 days then after that downfall

Cons:

Does not take any acne away
Gives you more acne
Makes skin very very very dry
Itch
Makes around mouth dry
Very irritating when you put it on
Gives very same pimples around your face

For the first 3 or 2 days I said wow something that works for me then next week comes and my face is so dry. It was crazy I couldn't believe it my face is worse and I have so many small pimples on me I have to find something really fast before my prom now and it's only in a few months. It does not even work if you put it on soft and it does not work if you put a little bit on. STAY AWAY

Pros:

Reduces oil
Reduces Acne
Worked well for me

Cons:

Dries skin, but works well with oil free moisturiser.

Great product. I've had acne since age 11 and this product is one of the first to work. It makes my skin feel clean and actually had a remarkable effect in clearing up my face. First two weeks your acne will get worse while it washes up the under-skin dirt and then it gets really clear. I've been using it for two years now.

Pros:

cheap

Cons:

dried out my skin
caused little bumps

I have really oily skin. I have never had a product that caused my skin to dry up so much. Not only did it dry up my skin, but it also caused little bumps in all the dry areas( so pretty much 85% of my face). I thought that the dryness was because I had never used this product before and my face needed to adapt to the new face wash, but i moisturized about 5 times a day to help with the extreme dryness but that did not seem to help. So by the fourth day I just tossed it. The dryness and bumps were so bad I didn't even want to go into public! I would not recommend this product for anyone, even if you have extremely oily skin!
