Pros:

Left face feeling fresh and clean
smoother skin where I don't have acne
clears up some acne
drys up existing acne
seems to prevent new breakouts

Cons:

First week or two, my skin felt excessivley dry
does not clear all acne

I began using this product in conjuction with a BP spot treatment. I later stopped using the spot treatment because it didn't work for my acne, I get areas in my tzone that are full of small acne bumps that are kind of like a rash. So I used just the cleanser and neutrogenas oil free moiustrizer, and I am noticing smoothing of my acne especially on my problematic chin area Bottom line: this product is not a miracle, but it does help.

The Bar is Better
I don't know what the difference is (nor have I bothered to read up on it) but the oil-free bar works far better than this liquid. Save a couple of bucks & buy the bar instead!

It depends on what skin you have
I have an oily t-zone, but for the most part my skin isn't that oily. DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN!!! When I first started using this product, it did make my skin very dry and tight, but for the people complaining about that, you really shouldn't just use a face wash and go about your day because it will dry out your face, causing your skin to produce excessive oil which will cause breakouts. You should always use a moisturizer for any face wash, but anyway, back to this face wash, let's just say it's very strong. The first few days I used regular moisturizer. My face soaked it right up. Then I tried either Vaseline or cocoa butter. Now I just use Vaseline after I wash my face with this. Yes, it's very thick, and it makes your face shiny, but I promise you, the shiny-ness will go away and your face stays moisturized the whole day. Conclusion, just use this (very strong) face wash with a good moisturizer and you will be good to go! It really works for me. This is the first product that I've noticed significant results in the disappearance of my acne. Can't wait to have a clear face again lol

Clear Skin
I bought this product about a week again and I'm really happy with my results. I have very oily skin so it definitely took care of that. My acne has also subsided and some acne marks I had are gone so I'm really happy about that as well. After using it a few times, yes I got a little bit of redness and dry skin, but I just put a moisturizer on after and my skin feels and looks fine. Not every product will have perfect results. I will definitely be purchasing this product again whenever my bottle runs out. Thank you!

Good for mild acne

Pros:

Mild enough for daily use.
Not very drying (tolerable).
Cheap, available anywhere.

Cons:

Ineffective on moderate acne.
Drying for some.

I have moderate acne so this product did pretty much nothing for me in the long run. For the first few days, it seemed my skin was improving, but that did not last long. From what I understand, salycylic acid works well at opening pores, which is what mild acne needs. But for it to work on moderate-severe acne, you must follow up with BP. Unfortunately, BP is too harsh for me to use consistently, so this product was a no-go.

Pros:

Reduces Size of Pimples
Feels good when used

Cons:

Does not clear acne
Causes irritation, dryness and flaking.
Stings eyes.
Causes Blackheads and Whiteheads

After months of using this product, it didn't work for me. During the first few month of using this product, I saw my pimples had reduced in size though my blackheads and whiteheads still remained the same. As I continued using it, I began to breakout and more pimples, whiteheads and blackheads started appearing on my forehead, sides of my noses and on my chin. It also started to cause dryness to my face and my skin began to flake. When you use the product, it feels like it is really cleansing your skin but for me, it really didn't. Be careful when using it, because it does sting your eyes. In my opinion, you could try it, but it really isn't worth the money. It may work for you depending on your skin type, but it didn't work for me. Just make sure you have a moisturiser with tis product because it does cause dryness and can irritate your skin.

Pros:

It worked in the beginning, really well, it cleared up my acne.

Cons:

In the beginning, it dried up my face and my face started peeling from it. I would have to use a lot of moisturizer. Then after a while, it started making my face REALLY OILY. It was really bad. You could see the oil on my face in the mirror. Gross.

It works in the beggining, but you have to switch to something else after a while. it stopped working when it made my face oily. If you use it, change to something else after about 2 months.
