Pros:

Cheap (lasts a while)
Smells Nice
Gets rid of the oil in my skin

Cons:

None that I can think of

I use this as a cleanser and there is no reason not to give it a 5 because it does everything it is advertised to do. I have very oily skin and moderate acne and this keeps the oil from accumulating on my face and I guess reduces breakouts. My breakouts have lessened and I like the nice after glow it gives. I do not even need a moisturizer, I see people complaining about it but it leaves my skin feeling refreshed.

Pros:

Rids face of excess oil
Lathers well
Face feels nice and clean, no residue

Cons:

Too fragrant

If you don't have oily skin, DO NOT use it. Common sense people. I keep seeing all of these bad reviews regarding people's face getting too dry. I have truly oily skin and this product only dried my face around my mucous areas for a few days then my skin was back to normal. This is what I needed. DO NOT give bad reviews if the product was not meant for you in the first place, please consider this when writing the review. Some people think they have oily skin only to find out its not that severe. My skin is oily 2-3 hours after washing and applying my moisturizing. I inherited this from my mom. The wash does keep my skin clear, but I do not have a lot of acne either. I am not sure if this will help with severe cases. This product is good for really really oily skin, those will light/mild breakouts and those who just want a simple product in between other products. If you are like me, I change products every couple of months. When I wash my face with this, I feel like I have washed off the day better than I have with any other wash (especially for the price).

Pros:

Contains 2% salicylic acid and works great for my extremely oily non-sensitive skin.

Cons:

May cause irritation if skin is not oily or are allergic to salicylic acid.

After reading the book "The Acne Cure" by Terry Dubrow, I came up with a routine that works great for my skin issues. Just to let everyone know though, I'm NOT allergic to salicylic acid, glycolic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Morning Routine: 1) Wash with Neutrogena oil free acne wash and let sit on skin for about 2-3 minutes, rinse and pat dry. 2) Apply Alphahydrox 10% glycolic oil free formula and leave on (don't rinse off). 3) Wait about 4 minutes and then apply Neutrogena oil free spf 15 lotion with DermaNaturals from the neutrogena acne kit. 4) Apply OC Eight to oily areas of face. Evening Routine: 1) Quickly and gently cleanse with Neutrogena skin polishing cleanser from the acne kit to remove the OC Eight and sunscreen. 2) Wash with oil free acne wash and leave on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse and pat dry. 3) Wait about 5 minutes and the apply the acne control lotion ( has 2.5% benzoyl peroxide) from the acne kit. For me this has really helped to even out my skin tone, clear pimples, blackheads, control oil for most of the day and reduced the redness that I always had.

Pros:

Clears skin, cuts oil, affordable (but not dirt cheap in Asia), easy to find, reduces oil and shine

Cons:

None for my skin type (oily all over) and weather (tropical Asia),
Doesn't work immediately (first week of use)

This wash works for my skin type. I don't feel any stinging or tightness after washing, just a thorough clean feeling. Now, pimples don't grow and mature but dry up very fast and fall off. I find this great as I'm afraid of scarring from big pustules. My problem area is pimples on my chin and jaw area and blackheads on the nose. My type of pimple used to be the big, painful ones with pus.So far, I've avoided that since this wash started working. Hopefully this wash will continue to work well way into the future.

Pros:

Washes away dirt, oil, and whiteheads!!
Clears Acne!
Reduces surface oils
Reduces Redness
Relaxes complexion

Cons:

Can be a bit drying. But My skin is so oily it will only last for about 30 minutes or so.

Ive tried endless products including proactiv, acnefree. These high end systems work for a while but if you miss one treatment you break out again. Not so with neutrogena oil free acne wash it is very forgiving. But for the maximum results I suggest using it every morning and every night. If used in this manner your skin will be clear in two weeks!!! (depending on the severity of your acne) remember to pat dry after washing product off of your face. If you tend to have dry skin after using i recommend using the clean and clear moisturizers with acne medicine in it. I am a consumer like you, and from my past experiences this is the product to reach for.

Pros:

-Cleans deep down
-Gets all makeup off
-Cheap
-Gets rid of any little bumps

Cons:

-Could smell better, but it isn't terrible

I've used this facewash for almost 5 years now because it doesn't have benzoyl peroxide(I'm allergic to it). It's never failed to get rid of any bumps that I may have gotten. I would recommend this product to people with very VERY light acne and not super oily skin. If you have severe acne this may irritate it a bit. So all in all, I love this product!!

Pros:

Reduces oil
Reduces Acne
Worked well for me

Cons:

Dries skin, but works well with oil free moisturiser.

Great product. I've had acne since age 11 and this product is one of the first to work. It makes my skin feel clean and actually had a remarkable effect in clearing up my face. First two weeks your acne will get worse while it washes up the under-skin dirt and then it gets really clear. I've been using it for two years now.

Pros:

Keeps breakouts to a minimum, exfoliates the skin nicely.

Cons:

Leaves skin a little dry

This is the only modestly priced cleanser that works for my face. My face is very sensitive, not only do I break out but I have rosacea. This is the only cleanser that did not trigger my rosacea and actually helps keep me from breaking out.
