Neutrogena : Oil-Free Acne Wash

I would recommend this product to some that has COMBINATION or OILY skin, it does have tendency to over dry my skin and i have combination. People with dry or normal skin might experience more than just tight and dry skin, so just watch out. I've tried so many different cleansers, none of them work as well as this one. I can deal with the dryness effect as long as i know my skin is being cleaned.

I was recommended this products by word of mouth.. So I decided what the heck, my current face wash wasn't working anymore. So I stated this on a Thursday at night, the next morning my face was redish and super dry. That night I washed my face again (using just 1 pump), after rinsing it with in a few mins my entire face and neck was on fire!! No exaggeration! I went to the mirror and my entire face was red, I used some L'oreal moisturizer and at the touch it burned even more! I had to sleep with a fan to my face. The next morning I woke up with small blisters on my face and tons of red blotches all over. It itched sooo much! I took some benadryl and went to the store to get some caladrly) It didn't work! The only thing that soothed my face was cold cold water. It is now Monday, and my skin is some what itch free, but my face is still super dry and it is peeling. (looks nasty!) I can't put anything from lotion to makeup on my face! I called to set an apt with a dermatologist but it takes months to get an apt here. So I am hoping within a few more days it will clear up. I would not wish this horrific pain among anybody! It is not worth it! Don't try this product!!

This product worked great the first couple of days or so, but then it was all downhill from there. As mentioned per other reviews, this product will make your skin very very dry. It made my face feel tighter, and began to burn my forehead. It made by mouth region super dry and itchy and it become very painful to move my mouth at all. I immediately stopped using this product. Fire would make a better product than this.

I love this! I started seeing results the next day. It does make my face feel tight but it goes away. It does dry out skin but i just use a little face moisturizer.

I love this stuff. It takes a while for it to work, like any face/acne product. Helped my horrible acne go away along with Benzaclin. Favorite face wash!

At first it dried out my skin a little, but then it dawned on me: I have combo skin and I'm not using a moisturizer on my cheeks!! I now use Avon Solutions AM Daily Cleanser with SPF 15 just on my cheeks. Overall, I like this cleanser. My favorite that I've used so far with Neutrogena.

I am very disappointed in this product. I had initially read some good reviews of the product and in a bid to clear my acne, i hurried and purchased this wash. Unfortunately, it dried up my face in just 4 days. My face became itchy especially around my mouth and under my eyes. My forehead developed so much rash and now I wish I could just go back to 4 days ago when this product never touched my face. I think the product should be reevaluated by dermatologists especially since it is used on the face...ðŸ'ŽðŸ'ŽðŸ'ŽðŸ'Ž

I started using this and on the 3rd day my face was bring and itching. I don't think this product is made for black people.

I am in my late 30s and wanted to try a cleanser that would prevent acne. It gave me 3 new pimples in 3 days, dry skin, irritated skin, and swollen eyes. I look horrible. i will not be using this ever again and I am still waiting for my face to go back to normal. I have dry skin to begin with FYI

I have used this product in the past and it cleared up my acne well. However I bought this a few days ago because I was going through a major breakout. This morning I woke up and my face is swollen especially around my eyes and there's a burning sensation throughout my face. I am not allergic to anything and have never had a reaction like this to any product. I'm worried that there might be a change in the formula? I'm too embarrassed to go out in public today because of how awful my face looks. Please I don't want anyone else to use this product, there's something wrong with it.
