Love it for its moisturizing ability
I love jojoba oil, I use it to moisturize usually in the night time and I just gently pat a bit all over my face, and then i put a good amount under my eyes because I think keeping that super moisturized can really the under eye area and reduce like fine lines and bags and stuff. Another tip for makeup users who have combination or dry skin, or want a dewy look. Put a few drops of it onto your makeup brush before applying foundation, or onto your beauty blender, or mix it with the makeup. It leaves a beautiful finish especially if you're like me and live in cold climates and you need that extra moisture in your makeup. I also believe since I have started using this everyday I have seen a slight difference in my acne scars, they appear less visible.

Pros:

EVERYTHING

Cons:

NONE!! ~ just don't use too much

Ok, I'm pretty sure this is the secret. It basically tricks my skin into thinking it is balanced. If you use too much (oops), it will give you greasy, kind of shiny look but that's the only thing I didn't like & frankly, it was my bad. Not only does it do wonders for my face (and makes a great primer before make up) but it does work on hair and body, nails, lips, etc. Amazing! I put in a drop with my moisterizer and it is as if I pulled some magic trick on myself. I cannot explain enough how enthusiastic I am about this stuff!

Pros:

Spreads Well
Makes skin look less oily

Cons:

Makes my face look greasy, and it never fades. Not even if I sleep with it on.

Well, I got Derma-E 90% jojoba 10% vitamin E skin oil and it works very well. I can't be sure if this is the exact product that is clearing my skin because I've started using other things. The other oil I use is 100% pure tea tree oil, which is supposed to be a great antiseptic. With the combination of these (I do it night and day) plus a face wash, my skin at first got a few pimples that weren't bad at all, and they soon faded away. My skin looks clearer than ever.

Pros:

Helps with flakiness, keeps moisture on skin all day, non-irritating

Cons:

a bit greasy (duh) but not obnoxious

This oil, mixed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Moisturizer used day and night has really been helping my skin. I've only been on it for a week (a bit early to be reporting) but this morning I decided to skip the oil and just use the moisturizer. Within 10 minutes when I went to put on my makeup, my skin was flaky and dry and uncomfortable. I didn't realize how much the oil was contributing until I tried to go without it. I'm using Dan's regimen, with the exception of the BP which I'm replacing with Benzaclin at my derm's recommendation. I'm also using Differin at night, which contributes to dryness. Anyway, so this morning I started over with my facial routine and this time added the jojoba oil in and it made all the difference in the world. For those of you who want to use foundation over top of your moisturizer/jojoba mixture, try using a foundation primer. Bare Essentials makes one and it puts a layer between the oil and your foundation and helps the foundation stay put.

Pros:

Great for gentle cleansing, moisturizing, clearing up existing blemishes, and evening out skin tone.

Cons:

Be careful of using too much (can feel a bit greasy) or getting in your eyes (gives you blurry eyes).

Over the past 2.5 weeks, I've been getting my face wet, then using 3-7 drops of this mixed with water to WASH my face. I rinse a few times with water and dab dry with a towel. It removes makeup, etc. and doesn't leave my skin feeling irritated or tight. I no longer use any soaps or harsh cleansers/products on my skin. I have noticed a dramatic improvement in the number and severity of my blemishes as well as the overall clarity of my skin -- it looks much less red and irritated and even-toned. You can also rub it into your hands, lips, etc. for extra moisturizing. I LOVE THIS STUFF.:)

Pros:

Does not cause me to breakout
Quickly absorbed
Long lasting moisturization

Cons:

none for me

I use the Jojoba oil on my lips when I am at home, especially before bed. I also add into my moisturizer. I tried putting the Jojoba on my face as a layer on its own, but that didn't work so well for me. I add one drop in the morning and 3 at night. The bottle is tricky to use, so I decanter it into a dropper bottle (e.g. from the container store) which stops it leaking and means I can actually get a controlled drop out! Also makes it more convenient for traveling - the actual bottle can be messy. I never used to be able to wear makeup as foundation would stick to dry spots, with this I can and I use a powder! I also dab the oil directly over rough spots / minor eczema. I can't say it it alone would stop spots as I use it with the acne.org regimen. In combination my acne has improved. Finally, I really like to use this on my hands also, because I touch my face and this way I don't have to worry about causing a breakout. I am so used to it now that I carry it with me every

Pros:

Really calms the skin. eliminates white heads.

Cons:

none

i bought a bottle of jojoba oil 4 days ago, and was skeptical about it, i came home looked at the bottle, poured some on my fingers and smeared it all around where i have acne, it felt really nice and soothing on my skin, that evening i looked in the mirror and couldnt beleive how my skin had improved, i was delighted... i did the same when i was going to bed and woke up the next morning and usually i have alot of whiteheads, that morning i only had one or two, and these disappeared after having a shower.. i used the jojoba oil again after my shower to moisturize, and as the day went on my skin felt good, i knew that i did not have any whiteheads on my face, and felt more relaxed in myself. I have continued to use the jojoba oil 2 maybe 3 times a day. i just pour a little out of the bottle and onto my fingers and smear it all over my face, my skin has greatly improved in just 4 days. i am really delighted that i found this stuff. i recommend trying this magic oil. i hope it helps

Pros:

* No oily residue on face or body
* absorbs quickly, can apply mineral makeup directly over it - no staining on clothes
* reduced pores, wrinkles

Cons:

none

Only use 100% organic jojoba oil. If it's mix with other ingredients the effects appear reduced, and the additives are often oily thus make the jojoba oil slippery. I use Aura Cacia from Whole Foods. I have oily skin in the summer and none of the light/gel moisturizers were hydrating enough so I had dry patches, and the regular moisterizers were too hydrating. This was the best compromise and the added benefit of being natural was the final selling point.
