Pros:

-stops flakes
-makes skin smooth
-helps lips

Cons:

-makes skin oily

While trying to get rid of my acne, my skin became very dry and flaky. No moisturizers really worked, they made it a little better but burned and skin remained flaky. Now i add about 4-5 drops of jojoba oil to my moisturizer and my flakes were gone immediately. Also I put some on my finger and then smear it on my lips and brush my lips with a tooth brush to ex foliate. After i re apply to my lips and it makes them extremely smooth by the next morning. i'd recommend doing this at night because it gives your skin a oily complex for a little while.

Pros:

makes me glow
clears up skin
cheaper than most acne products
lasts forever
also fantastic for long hair!

Cons:

haven't found any yet except maybe that it can be a little on the heavy side so I only use it at night and use the lighter grapeseed oil(also great for skin) in the morning before makeup

This is fantastic! I purchased mine at [link removed] ($11.90 for 16oz of golden jojoba oil) and also the grapeseed oil ($12.54 for a 1/2 gallon of grapeseed oil) because I found they had the best prices and good quality. I use jojoba oil at night with my normal face lotions. Realize that with some people it will cause purging the first couple mths. In other words since it unclogs pores it can make you seem to break out at first. This doesn't happen to everyone. But once the purging is over your skin will be clear and glowing. This is why some on here are complaining it makes them break out. If needed you can use a salysilic acid spot product for breakout areas before bed (like neutrogena's one which I like) to help with the purging breakouts the first few mths. Grapeseed oil is also a great item to use. It's lighters so better if using before makeup in the morning while joboba is heavier and I find better for night use. It is also FABULOUS for hair! Rub some in your palms (about a teaspoon or so) and rub all into hair staying away from the scalp. Mainly spread it through the length and ends. If you have layers dont forget those ends. Your hair will look all greasy but dont worry. Leave it in for about an hour then shampoo and condition as usual. After a couple days I couldn't believe how manageable soft and shiny my hair was. And I seemed to not have a split end to exist. Grapeseed and jojoba oil are two of the greatest products nature made for skin and hair. No wonder people have used them for centuries! I can't believe I wasted so much money on expensive skin and hair products before.

Pros:

It is garenteed to work, no matter what kind of skin you have. Its basically odor free. 2-3 Drops is all you need. Affordable. All Natural. Something that will truly do something for you.

Cons:

None. I just hate running out of it.

Jojoba Oil is amazing for your skin. I am registering for my Master's degree as an natural herbalist. I've read many natural healing books and have studied for at least five years. Since the age of nine I've suffered from mild to severe acne. When I was 15 I found this product and from day one have fallen in love =) its extremely helpful to the skin and will actually imitate the oils that your skin really needs or already creates, which might be, possibly too much and will help regulate them. I have seen dramatic results in time as short as a week. I would highly recommend this product. I'm 21 and Jojoba oil is a woman's dream product. It helps aging skin to young maturing skin.

Pros:

Perfect lightweight moisturizer for skin with acne. If you leave it on overnight the oil will draw at the plugs in your pores. You might still have to squeeze them out but it is much easier. Seems to calm down the big zits.

Cons:

Hard to find. I can only get it at Earth Fare or order on line.

You only need a tiny bit. Rub it in the palm of your hands and then rub your face with your hands. It did not cause any breakouts.

Pros:

deeply penetrating, non-comedegenic, never goes bad (rancid), helps regulate your own skin oil production, so it is great for oily or dry skin.

Cons:

price

Jojoba is not actually an oil, it is a liquid wax. It's called "jojoba oil" for marketing purposes. It is molecularly VERY similar to sebum (the substance your own skin secretes). It's small molecular size allows it to penetrate deeply without clogging pores. It never goes rancid because it is a wax. Used daily on your face, while avoiding harsh soaps and detergents, you will see a reduction in blemishes after about a week of use.

Pros:

Reduces oil, natural, moisturizing, lessens breakouts, helps my makeup last all day, bottle lasts forever.

Cons:

None.

I love this stuff!! It's REALLY been helping my acne. It's pretty much cured my bacne; I've maybe had two tiny little pimples in the 6 weeks I've used it whereas I used to have consistent moderate bacne. I love the earthy, leathery smell of DKR's oil. My skin responded very well to this, and has gotten less and less oily as time goes on. For example, I used to have to re-do my makeup about noon because I was *so* oily. Now I might blot a little to get through the day, but I rarely re-do my makeup all the way (unless I have a special outing after work). My skin is so much less oily that my makeup's integrity is much improved! My acne is greatly reduced and that acne that I do get is MUCH smaller. Just not having to do my makeup twice every day is worth it to me (not only is that time consuming, and a waste of expensive makeup, but it risks further irritation).

Pros:

Clears up skin!

Cons:

No cons! Enough about the bottle, you get used to it.

The only thing that has EVER worked for me! A lot of reviews were from people with oily skin, but mine is super dry and can be "flakey" at times. This stuff helped my skin look healthy, evenly toned, and totally got rid of my acne. I would recommend it to anyone, it's practically a miracle product.

Pros:

Jojoba oil a cheap, effective, all-natural treatment for acne. Because it's all-natural, it's a lot healthier for your skin, since everything that is put on your skin is absorbed into your body.

Cons:

I can't think of any.

After using all natural products for 5 mos, My skin is perfectly clear, smooth, and glowy now...my pores appear smaller and my skin texture is wonderful.I've used all sorts of acne medicines, both OTC and prescribed (including accutane, proactiv, retin-a)over the past 6 yrs, but nothing worked, and most everything aggrevated the condition. Being the health-nut I am, I threw away every synthetic acne cream, gel, lotion and wash and converted my skin care regimen to all-natural products. I am now spending a fraction of my monthly skincare budget. I wash with all natural and organic cleanser (jason naturals D Clog) both am and pm. In the morning, I use 2 drops of jojoba oil with one drop of tea tree as my moisturizer, and I use Bare Escentuals (which is wonderful!). Every other night I apply a thin layer of virgin coconut oil on my face. I alternate that with diluted applecider-vinegar applied directly to the skin. I also mix epsom salts w/ my normal cleanser as a scrub 2x week.

Pros:

It works! My skin is soft, toned, hydrated.
Large pores are getting smaller.
No longer have to use moisturizer. I tried it because I have roseacea and tried everything to calm it. Finally after many years this works and its natural.

Cons:

At first I bought two brands. One with vit E and this one Dessert Essence, just pure Oil. The one with E, did make me break out a little and was very greasy. This one dessert essence, is pure and really you only need. Two drops.

Give your skin time to get aquainted with the oil. I have read all these pages, first you can't be allergic, I am, thats why I am using this all natural. This oil is most like your own oil so you cant be allergic. Second, as for mix with this and that, Try just a few drops to start, your not painting a house. It's a face and a few drops give it moisture. I myself have not had to use moisturzer since I got this oil. My thought on all the pimple comments. I have oily skin, large pores and roseacea, Since I got this oil, I have none. Buy it, take it slow, dont be adding in the kitchen sink with it. We tend to want everything MacDonald style. Give your skin and the oil time. Your face did not get this way in a week or two so give it a try. Others having breakouts, Look at what your washing your face with, make sure its clean before you apply oil. Someone said they use a product with aloe, aloe is something you can allergic to. A Clean cotton cloth and warm water does the trick, add o

Pros:

-Absorbed by the skin, Does NOT cause acne,-Helps heal scarring/active acne, Natural, Non-irritating, Multi-use (hair, skin, nails) Is not greasy, Does not melt my makeup, BEST MOISTURIZER EVER!!

This product is fabulous! It has given me the softest smoothest skin. It is so different from any other moisturizer, because my skin actually absorbs it, I only need a couple drops, and it gets rid of flakes and dryness. I can be confident that it will not break me out, and that is most important to me. I will never use another moisturizer!
