I use this as my night moisturizer and I have seen a big improvement on my clogged pores. They are almost gone now.

Pros:

Got rid of the flakes from Duac (BP and topical antibiotic combo) when combined with regular exfoliation.

Gave me back the soft skin I had as a 13 year old.

Brightened up my very pale complexion.

Absorbs instantly.

Doesn't require much each use.

100% natural.

Doesn't break me out - not even on my neck, which is acne free naturally but freaks out when anything but water touches it normally.

Can be used to make hair soft and shiny.

Cons:

Not much - £5 is kind of expensive for a small bottle (50ml), but natural products are known for being costly.

I'm a 19 year old female with mild hormonal acne. My main problem areas are my cheeks and next to my eyebrows. I used to get a lot of whiteheads there. Duac is clearing me up wonderfully but it left my skin dry, flaking off, cracking, bright red, incredibly sensitive and sore and swollen. My normal moisturizer was causing more burning and pain and not stopping the flakes and tightness. I was scared to try jojoba oil at first due to the negative reviews about experiencing initial breakouts. It's been just under a week now and I've not noticed any breakouts on my forehead, which is now 100% clear. This product is actually a waxy ester, not an oil. It absorbs into my skin within five seconds of applying it and feels very light. My skin is now soft, thicker and more supple. BP and jojoba oil really do go well together. When applied to wet hair before blow or air drying it gives your hair a lovely shine and softness. Obviously not everybody's skin will react to the same product in the same way as we're all individuals, but I've had a marvellous experience with this. Don't be too afraid of trying new things; sometimes it's just what you were missing. I use 100% pure, cold pressed jojoba oil. I only apply 1-2 drops each morning after watching and each night after applying the Duac. Using too much of anything could potentially make your acne worse as your skin needs to 'breathe' (in a sense). *washing, not watching. My phone won't let me go back and correct it.

Pros:

Extremely refreshing and moisturizing

Cons:

Makes me look oily!

Bought this at [link removed] not the Acne.Org one. Great value for money, but it makes my face shiny, so I use very sparingly.

Pros:

It has softened my skin, made it less oily, has not made me break out more. I find the best way to use it is to put a tiny amount on your face before you dry it after washing. Massage it in, then pat your face dry.

Cons:

none

I love it for every part of my body. Worth the money. Certainly cost less in the long run than trying every acne remedy on the shelves. We all have a drawer off stuff that never worked. Imagine if we added up what all that stuff cost us.

Pros:

Clear skin, gets rid of those small pimples. Less oily face. My regimen:

Morning - wash with Anthony Logistics glycolic facial cleanser (awesome), apply nivea for men face lotion (sensitive skin) with a few drops jojoba oil. Blot after 5 min

Cons:

None! Here's my regimen continued since I'm running out of space:

Night - wash again with Anthony Logistics glycolic facial cleanser, apply thin layer of Benzaclin over whole face. Done! FYI, my skin type is oily/acne prone with some dryness.

So I heard about Jojoba oil and was very skeptical. I'm a medical student, so of course I went online to PubMed to read up on all the credible peer-reviewed research articles about studies done on jojoba oil and skin. I didn't find anything explicitly on jojoba oil and acne; all the studies were on jojoba and severe dermatological cases (seborrhea, psoriasis, etc.). So of course I was still skeptical. My brother was using it, so I decided just to try it. I've been using it for a week, and it actually has been doing wonders. I use Benzaclin at night, and it works pretty well, but I still had those small persistent pimples and break outs that I came to terms with, thinking I'll always have them. Not so with jojoba oil. After one week, they went away and my face has never been more clear. No joke. Hopefully it'll stay this way, and I'm not just having a 'good' week. But this is a kind of clear skin I've never had before. It's definitely worth a try. Get 100% pure oil, any brand will do!

Pros:

Natural, non-prescription, relatively inexpensive, does not spoil or go rancid, non-toxic, non-comedogenic, can be used with topical medications without interactions.

Cons:

I have to reduce the ratio of jojoba:moisturizer in the morning, otherwise my makeup will not stay where it's put.

Is jojoba a magical cure for everyone in the world who has ever had acne? No. Has it worked exceptionally well for me? Yes. Anything that we put on our faces has, at least, a 50% chance of inducing a break out. I have broken out from putting the jojoba on my skin entirely undiluted, but for others this isn't an issue. In the morning, I mix 1-2 drops of jojoba oil with either Cerave, AmLactin, or Walgreens Naturals AHA cream, after washing my face. If I have active break outs, especially around my cycle, I use benzoyl peroxide first, and then moisturize. It has really helped balance out the oil production in my face (I have always been EXTREMELY oily), keeps my skin from flaking from topical treatments, helps my existing blemishes heal faster, and does wonders for the blackheads that I can't dissolve with anything else (even Retin-A won't get rid of mine). That being said, it may not work for you, so start slowly with it, and try using it in different ways to see what works best for you

Pros:

Jojoba oil COMPLETELY stopped the flaking and itchiness that I was dealing with when I started the regimen, without causing breakouts or making my skin look too oily.

Cons:

None

Use 5 or 6 drops mixed in with your moisturizer with the regimen. This stuff is AMAZING!

Pros:

Smoothes the skin. Purges blackheads to the surface. Natural product so no unwanted product on the skin.

Cons:

Can give face a shiny glowy look.Initial breakout which lasted about 3 weeks

I have oily acne prone skin. Most of my acne is comedonal so I had loads of blackheads on forehead and nose which turn into tiny pus pimples. When I tried the OCM with jojoba oil I broke out in loads of tiny pimples on my forehead in the 2nd week. I decided to persevere with the OCM and now the pimples are almost gone and most of the blackheads are going. My nose looks clearer and the pores appear to be shrinking. I assume all those pimples came from the trapped sebum in the blackheads so if you have a lot of blackheads, maybe be prepared for your skin to get worse first before getting better. I have always had a healthy diet so sometimes your acne can be caused by the products you put on your skin. Lots of sebum production to compensate for the drying agents you put on the face. My face is less oily. As long as I can control the acne I don't mind too much about the oil-less wrinkles when I'm older!! I OCM at night and mix jojoba with my dermal clay cleanser in the morning.

Pros:

Basically cured my acne. Leaves skin looking healthy and glowing. Versaitile, can be used on hair and body. Pleasant to use. Makes other skin products work better.

Cons:

None

I have used everything under the sun to stop my breakouts. I have spent a fortune on expensive cleansers and other treatments. Since using this, my acne has gone from mild to moderate to none to mild. An occassional bump, but even those have become less frequent. My skin looks great and feels great. It feels so much less oily. I am the biggest fan of this stuff.
