Pros:

The refining mask is nice occassionaly to help dry out my oily skin and skin felt soft the following day, however has never helped with acne.

Cons:

I have mild-moderate acne with occassional bad breakouts - there was no change on this product. My younger sister had severe acne and this product did not work in the slightest. My friend had very mild and occassional breakouts and saw no results.

I have yet to meet a person in which proactiv has worked for them, I am very consistent with my cleansing routine and saw absoulutely no results - I was also told this is a horrible product for your skin in the long run by dermatologists. The marketing campaign is very good - even when I see them I consider trying it again - then am reminded that its all a marketing ploy and will NOT work.

Pros:

it really worked after a couple of times. i was going into 7th grade and within a month i was pimple free.

Cons:

it dries out your skin. a lot.
it is actually a bit expensive

i use it every two days because it dried out my skin. i was really excited when it started to work. the only problem for me is how much it dries out my skin. i would recommend this product because it does work for people with oily skin and for people with mild to moderate acne. if u have acne in the t zone.( forehead, noes, and chin) this product is also a plus. but again only if you have mild to moderate acne.

Pros:

my skin is less oily now and seems to cut down on acne

Cons:

skin is dry and it bleached all my washcloths!

It's pretty good - just be careful not to bleach your clothes when you use it.

Pros:

worked miracles from around the first few days~months for me ^_^ also made the texture of my skin very smooth :] works well for inflamed acne, but not as well for blackheads ;S

Cons:

-i started getting minor breakouts on my forehead from 'step 3' after the first few months
-BP has a tendancy to dry your skin out, so make sure you have a very effective moisturizer
-some ppl break out when they stop using it for a few days

worth a try if you have severe acne ;] a little bit pricey tho ;S

Pros:

This product works to get rid of bad acne. It never completely cleared my skin 100% though. Works fast.

Cons:

Dries skin!!! Somewhat hard to find if you don't want to participate in the automatic payments/shipments.

I have used this product for years mainly because when I try to stop using it, my face breaks out worse than ever and produces massive amounts of oil! I'm not positive if this is due to the product itself or not- but I feel my face has become 'addicted' to it. I wouldn't use it if I didn't feel I 'had' to... if you don't already use this product, I recommend you don't start.

okay, im 14 and i bought proactiv about 2 or 3 months ago. i neeeded to buy it because my face was like disguisting. it was a tad pricey though. i started using it and right away like in 2 days my acne was clearing up fast. i was continuing to use it and in about 2 weeks after that my face was red and flaky. i have to say it wasnt as bad as before. i would recomend to use da product 1 a day instead of twice. i stopped using it for a while and the acne came back. i started to use it once a day and it cleared up again. it makes my skin have a better complexion. if u cant afford proactiv i would recomend u wash ur face with regular soap and warm water and dab hydrogen poroxide on ur skin because it gets rid of bacteria that causes acne. proactiv depends on ur skin type if it works or not but i liked it :]

Pros:

it works really well gets rid of all acne if you used it right

Cons:

dries out your skin, expensive

its expensive but worth it. if you use it every night its great but dont over do it and use it in the morning too. in the morning just wash your face and use a really good lotion and your face wont dry out and will be fine:) plus proactiv works pretty fast too my face was pretty bad and it cleared up in about 3 weeks but you have to use it every single night.. hey its worth it .. about 5-7 minutes every night and no acne? whats better than that.

Pros:

It works for a while then I get a big zit here and there. Now I also have a bunch of small pimples along my hair line. Which has never been a problem before.

Cons:

The price. It stopped working as well.

I have actually used it for years because it was the ONLY thing that seemed to work. It isn't working so well for me anymore and I have been VERY consistant in my routine. I also can't afford it anymore!!! Darn gas prices!

Pros:

Easy, good, healthy skincare routine that everybody show follow.

Cons:

Pricey, drying to the skin, eczema patches formed, cleanser is too harsh, too fragrant, needs to include a moisturizer in its "complete" system.

I really wanted this product to work (and I still do). Even after trying it, and knowing it doesn't work for me, I still always watch the infomercial and keep asking why such an easy system, doesn't work for me! I used it a few years back. Results never really showed up. It made my skin really dry (must use moisturizer!). I have mild eczema on my fingers, but never really on my face until I started using ProActiv. The cleanser (with its beads) is way too harsh to be used twice a day. The only good thing about ProActiv, I could say, is the refining mask. It really did dry out my pimples overnight. But then I'd find myself using the damn mask every night because the ProActiv system itself wasn't working!
