Cons:

TOOOOOOOOO much money... and faked me out. i thought it was gonna work but then STOPPED.

this stuff worked for me for a few months, but it just stopped and i broke out again. that seems to be the case with many people... it'll work for a minute then just flip on you. im tired of wasting money on things that dont work.

Pros:

When you first start using it, it begins to clear up small breakouts, makes skin feel smooth.

Cons:

DRIES OUT SKIN A LOT!!! makes skin very dry and flakey, DO NOT use if you have sensitive skin!

I have sensitive skin that is prone to dryness, and when i first started using i only had a few small breakouts i wanted to get rid of. when i first started using it, i saw an improvement. my skin soon became very very dry and flakey but i continued using it. i continued using for one year until my skin started to break out like CRAZY and it was destroying my skin. my skin is much worse than when i started using proactiv.

Pros:

In the beginning clears small breakouts

Cons:

Expensive,
Cracks the skin and makes it look dry.

I ordered Proactiv about three weeks ago and I am sending mine back for a refund. It immediately cleared up small breakouts I had on my forehead, yet I continue to get pimples on my nose and cheeks. The Repairing Lotion states to start using only once a day to prevent excessive dryness - I only used it once a day and my face can't get enough moisture! I stopped using the system because my face was dry and cracked, and I'd much rather suffer from a few occasional pimples that cracked skin. Do yourself a favor, forget the system! The real power behind this is daily exfoliation, use a toner with glycolic acid, and oil-free moisturizing, and acne treatment with salicytic acid instead of benzoyl perocide. You can get the same results if you use other products like Clear Pores and spend as much time on your face as you do with Proactiv, and not bleach out your skin, clothes, and towels.

Pros:

Helped clear my skin up overnight, massive difference

Cons:

burned like hell after applying all 3 products and dried out my skin.

Woth using if you have a major pimple problem, if you can stand the burning sensation

Pros:

Makes your skin feel really clean and smooth

Cons:

Agree with others that it dries you out. Must use additional moisturizer. I can only use once per day. My acne issue is rosacea, and it's helping keep that at bay, but doesn't help as much with period-related acne. Don't see the purpose of the toner.

I like the way the exfoliating cleanser makes my skin feel, but I don't necessarily think it's worth the price. Would probably recommend just buying the exfoliating cleanser and then use my own moisturizer, rather than buy the entire package.

Pros:

makes my skin feel clean

Cons:

takes too much time since it is 3 steps.

It is good if you have enough time in the morning but makes your face red at first. If you have time to put it on and wait for the redness to go away then yes, if not then no.

Pros:

Smells nice, looks nice, cool idea of products.

Cons:

Doesn't at all work.

I've attempted to use proactiv twice to get rid of acne..It didn't work. I tried it the first time a couple years ago, and eventually gave up on everything. Then recently I thought I'd give it another try because of all the celebrity endorses, and new products. I thought my skin would actually clear and I'd look like me again..but it didn't. I used it about two months and it abosutely did nothing for my skin! It was a waste of money, and time. Proactiv is just an endorsement scam, for the majority of people it makes the acne worse. I hate proactiv and never again will I or let any family or friends buy it.My mom bought me four kits and I eventually got to return all of them. By the way, the customer service there sucks. Good luck with this crap in a bottle, Proactiv.

Pros:

My pores look a lot smaller and tighter, my skin is glowing and i'm not breaking out as much.

Cons:

my skin feels so dry, stingy and itchy! i'm going to try using a oil-free lotion for sensitive skin in combination with proactiv. see how that goes.

i think this is a product for people with extremely oily skin, and it's drying properties are a little too intense for everyone. too bad they don't make different "levels" of proactiv!

Pros:

Worked for the first few days & did clear up a few pimples

Cons:

Kind of the same as the pros it only worked temporarily, then it just seemed to stop.

Dont waste your money! This product consists mainly of benzoyl peroxide & for alot of people that just isnt enough. You also need like salicylic acid to balance your skin. Please dont waste your money.

Pros:

The product works well for a few months

Cons:

After a long time of using it; it stopped working

AcneFree is a lot cheaper and I noticed more results with this product. Proactiv is a bit pricey and does work if you religously use it however it seems like the product looses its effect after a while. It dries out your face ALOT - its not gentle at all like the commercial makes it out to be. Tons of publicity and the product isn't great.
