Pros:

-Reduces redness
-Aids with acne

Cons:

-Skin remains oily
-Doesnt clear acne completely

Hi x] Used this product for about five years now and although it took away all the redness and aided quite well with my acne I still get occasional break outs quite often. I recommend this for people without severe acne or those who just want to rid the redness of acne. As a long term solution, perhaps not! Sorry.

Pros:

makes skin feel clean
cleanser has little exfoliating grits in it
refining mask is nice smells funny tho but u get used to it

Cons:

makes it worse
only works for ppl w/ very light acne and small pimples not severe or moderately severe acne. doesn't shrink pus (i know thats disgustiing but the truth) dries out skin

its ok it works if u have light acne but not severe a lot of ppl are looking for the right treatment to their BAD acne not just a few tiny little cloged pores here and there

Pros:

-worked at times
-nice smell, not too strong
-nice packaging, dispenses easily

Cons:

-only certain products had certain effects
-inconsistent with results
-tooexpensive for insufficient results

It is ok if you use certain products, but for others I would rather just wash my face with water than waste the time. I would recommend the clarifying cream with salycylic acid(helped prevent acne for me by 60%)

Pros:

Works to some degree. Doesn't overly dry the skin and the moisturizers and day/night creams all left the skin feeling soft.

Cons:

It's not very consistent and didn't seem to prevent outbreaks as well as advertised. Also, the toner and especially the mask are way too harsh. After using the mask my eyes would tear up for hours after washing it off.

My skin was better while using it than before but in my case it's not worth the money and not nearly effective enough.

Pros:

Refining mask makes skin softer sometimes, and the actual treatment gets rid of most acne on some days and therell be some long periods of time when the acne comes back even while using the product as directed.

Cons:

not consistent at all, does not get rid of all acne nor does it prevent all of it even though it helped reduce the acne, but for the price i'm paying for something thats supposed to get rid of my acne its not worth it

reduces acne but the price is not worth it, for the same price or less theres probably a better product out there that doesnt dry the skin like this one, its only gonna take some time to find the right product (just google best acne products and youll get stuff that are most likely better than proactiv considering proactiv isnt anywhere on the lists)

Pros:

Feels great in the morning, delivers to you, and worked instantly

Cons:

Breakouts come back if you stop using for 1-2 days. It actually makes my skin oily, not dry.

I've been using for over a year and was mostly satisfied, but you really pay for it after missing a day or two.

Pros:

It lightened my acne scars on my forehead and on my cheeks. I didn't break out as much as I used to before. Some weeks I didn't have pimples at all.

Cons:

If I did have breakouts, it would all come out on one side of my face. Like one week it'll be 5 pimples on my right cheek, then it'll be 4 pimples on my forehead the next week.

Didn't really do much at all for my skin.

Cons:

The cleanser was harsh on my skin (uncomfortable applying), the toner left my skin feeling very tight, which was uncomfortable, and the refining mask, which supposedly clears acne in a very short amount of time, did not clear my acne fast at all.

This product is way overrated. I've been using Proactiv for TWO YEARS, and it has not cleared my acne that much. My skin is better than what it was, but seeing as how I've used it every day, twice a day for two years, I would think my face would look better than it does. And I normally have three pimples on my face, and they are the HUGE ones. And my black heads are everywhere. I've heard of a new product called Exposed Acne System. It has very good reviews, and I think I am going to try it!

Pros:

It works at first.

Cons:

After 60 days, my acne had gotten no better--it just moved from my forehead down. The salesperson said I should try a stronger formula, so I spent even more money on that, and now I have very large pimples on my chin. I cannot stand this.

For many people this product works, but for some reason not on me. I think that for most people reading these reviews it would be a good product. I used it faithfully to no avail. I've gotten the product 4 times due to clever salespeople and have asked for a refund, but it's all caught up in red tape, and the guarantee is screwy. You have to return the product within 60 days of purchase, yet they say you have to use it for 60 days, giving you a window of a few hours to return it. This seems like a sort of scam for people who the product doesn't work on.

Pros:

Its easy, takes hardly anytime, gets rid of red spots from old pimples, reduces scaring, can see a difference in a few days, clean feeling, great for severe acne, cheap you get two months of treatment for about $40, thats $5 a week.

Cons:

if you stop using it your acne comes back worse for a few weeks, very drying, terrible for sensitive skin or light acne

great for drying oily skin, not good for fair skin. If you have light acne you shouldn't use this it will cause more harm then good by drying out your face, gets rid of severe acne and makes your face feel clean
