Can someone help me review my scar treatment plan?

Hi All,

The photo is my current skin condition. I know... it's terrible. As I'm not that rich to spend money freely on my scar treatment, would like to seek your opinion on my plan. Really appreciate!

1. End of Feb or Start of March: Subcision + TCA Cross together (Most of my scars are rolling scars so I believe I should be a good candidate for subcision? Also, for some areas that are still red right now, I think they're kinda "boxcar scars"? I no longer want to wait for it to grow slowly so I'm thinking of doing TCA cross to speed up the healing process)

**Please, can someone tell me if I should do subcision together with HA filler at the same time? or wait until I see the result of my first subcision session?**

2. End of April (Around 2 months apart): CO2 fraxel laser

3. End of June (Around 2 months apart): Second treatment for either Subcision + TCA Cross or CO2 fraxel laser (Depends on the results I see from the treatment and choose the one which gives me the biggest improvement)

Any advice would be highly appreciated! As I have a big event that I need to attend in end of July, I really want and need my skin to improve at least 50-60%. That's why I plan these treatments kinda aggressively...

I think your plan sounds solid. If it were me personally, I might just do regular ablative laser instead of fractional. But yeah, you sound like you know what's up, which is good. Just make sure you get under the care of someone really good. You said you don't have much money, but just remember this is your face. Few things in life are more important, so don't be too cheap about it.

@dan-4 Thanks for the advice! I know that ablative laser is more aggressive compared to fraxel. The reason you recommend it is because it can provide better results? Just curious. Thank you

Yeah. It's better results. I would personally opt for ablative, but some people like to be more conservative. Just my common sense tells me ablating all of the skin will then let totally new skin grow in its place.

I think fraxel is sort of useless but I'm not a laser expert. I don't think it can hurt but you know not sure it's worth the money. Subcision and/or filler sounds like a plan with less risks and you have mostly rolling scars. You could test a few spots first too just to make sure no side effects.
