I had subscision, filler and RF micro needling done almost 3 weeks ago now.

The subscised areas are still very red and swollen.

Should I be concerned? My doctor says this is a normal recovery but Im getting worried at almost 3 weeks.

I think it looks normal. Other people have posted post-subcision things very similar multiple times on the forums and it always ends up resolving. But yeah, it feels like it can take a long time.

So, I'd say take a deep breath and probably you're good to go. But, you're concerned, and you should be because it's your face after all, so don't be shy and call your doctor and ask for a video visit I'd say. They can have a look and put your mind at ease.

Also, taking some fish oil (I take 5-6 pills a day myself) and eating low glycemic while that heals may help with the healing process.

Are we talking months for the hyperpigmentation to subside?

You look Caucasian, so I doubt it would take months for hyperpigmentation to fade.

Well hyperpigmentation, or post inflammatory erythema. Subcision is a process that sort of does this, but the treatments may have been aggressive all in one session. Knowing nothing much about RF microneedling in general other than it's perceived process. Any update?
