Hi,

I have these scars on the trunk that were a result of mole removal, it was already 10 years ago, some are flat. However, most of them are like bumpy as its possible to see on the image.

I've been researching a lot and considering:

- 50% chemical peel TCA
- Ellman (combined with steroid injections). However, some doctors said that Ellman is not a proper way to treat scars, only raised skin lesions such as moles
- adcortyl steroid injections + RF microneedling
- just steroid injections
- Deep fx laser 3-4 treatments spaced 8 weeks apart
- punch excision (not sure if can be a nice option, afraid of getting an even worse scar, maybe with some nice techniques like "undermining"/etc)
- steroid injections + laser therapy (1 treatment every 4 weeks)

But yeah, not sure what might be more worth to try! Do you which treatments could work best for these type of scars? Thanks

Raised scars are so hard to deal with. Here's all the latest research on all available treatments, but which one to go with is one of those things you want to decide alongside an experienced expert doc who has treated similar things before and can show you before and afters. Don't go with anything until you have that assurance and feel good about it.
