Pros:

works at clearing acne.
the green tea moisturizer is awesome if proactive dries your skin.

Cons:

can't buy in stores.
not cheap.

When you order online they tell you that they send you a 30-day supply and 30 days later they will send you a 90-day supply. and so on every 90 days after that. If you order it without knowing this, I am sorry, but you are an idiot who can't read. Or maybe you just didn't take the time to read it. And maybe if you are ordering things online in the future you should read everything before you consent. Also, you can cancel at any time, which includes after you get your first shipment, so you never have to receive a 2nd shipment or have your card charged again.

Pros:

Didn't dry face out
Didnt Make it red
Not Irritatiing

Didnt help at all.
Made face super oily

Basiclly where i mostly get acne is arond my mouth and by my cheek bones. And like 1 or 2 on my forehead. Personally i have super duper duper sensative skin. With proactiv i washed my face 2 times a day. morning and night. It didnt so ANYTHINGGGGGGGG for my chin and cheek bones.Just forehead. Its summer now and i really wanted my acne to go away before summer ended and i dont think its going anywhere. Take this into consideration. DONTTTT USE..... all proactiv is, is benzoyl peroxide. What it does that it doesnt get down into the pores and actually get out dirt,oil, etc. It just take bacteria off exsiting acne.Puhhlease do notbuy this. I think yob be better off using Skin Id or sumthing

Pros:

Clears up existing blemishes
Seems to be keeping my skin clear
Kiosk Machine in mall keeps me away from bad customer service & automatic billing

Cons:

Blemishes will come back & acne worsen when discontinue
Products become less effective after a month because bottle top poorly made & will not close properly. So 90 day supply really only good for 1 1/2 months.

I recommend it for people with mild acne which is what I have. Seems to be too irritating & not worth the time and money for people with severe acne/really sensitive skin.

Not a fan of the toner or lotion, or the price

I love love love proactive wash, we have started budgeting so its outta oir price range now and i am really having a hard time finding some thing comparable to it. I dont like having to use toner and the lotion is kind of drying but thewash is amazing

Proactiv is crap. Just crap. I'm 17 now, and started to suffer from severe acne around 14. I tried many products, but nothing worked, so finally my mom got me proactiv. The first 5 days it worked well, except I hated the smell and it was very time consuming. Well, as I continued to use it my acne cleared, but in its place I had the most dreadful flaky skin. After about a week and a half it got so bad that i stayed home from school from sheer embarrassment, and I didn't use it before bed that night. When I woke up in the morning I was horrified. My face exploded in acne like I had never seen. That was because I didn't use it for one night! The thing is, despite what proactive says, it doesn't deep clean. Instead it creates a barrier on the surface of your skin so that the doesn't show itself, and If you don't use it every 12 hours, the wall isn't strong enough to barricade the acne. I stopped using it and canceled my account. Or at least I thought I did. They charged and sent me another order 3 months afterward. I sent it back and got my money back, but i did have to pay for shipping. :P All in all, this product is awful dont waste your time or money on it. I now used Herbaria natural soap. A bar is $6 and goes a long way (And smells AMAZING) followed by a dilute of Apple Cider Vinegar as a toner (about $5 per bottle). This works wonderfully for my terrible acne, and I recommend it to EVERYONE!

Pros:

The original formula really worked for me

Cons:

The "new and improved" formula destroyed my face

I was in love with the original product, it did wonders for me for 5 years. I used the repairing lotion only a few times a week because it does dry skin badly if used everyday. Other than that, it was perfect. Last October, I bought the amazing new formula that supposedly is faster, gentler (and for some reason, a little cheaper). After the first two weeks, my skin felt rough and irritated, and looked red. My overall skin tone was blotchy. I've never had acne on my forehead or the sides of my cheeks and I got HUGE blemishes that would not go away for 3 months. I threw it away when they developed and haven't touched Proactiv again. The company destroyed a great product and a lot of faces for cheaper production and higher profit.

Pros:

Works pretty well
Clears up tiny whiteheads

Cons:

It takes a long time to work, a few weeks
dries out my skin a tad
takes a long time to apply

It works pretty good but it takes a long time to start working, when it starts its AMAZING!

- smells really good!
- kept my skin really smooth
- comes with free stuff when you order!
- takes away acne scars within time

Cons:

- takes a while to ship
- comes with little supply

I love this! You guys should totally buy it! It's worth it!

Pros:

None!

Cons:

It dried out my skin and made me break out more than I already was.

This product is awful. You stop using it for a day and your skin begins to break out worse than before you used the product. They tell you it's only $29.95 and in reality they send you one kit that turns out to be over $100. It is so not worth buying at all! It is not affordable at all!
