Pros:

It made my skin smoother and seemed to be working great at first

Cons:

Soon my skin was dry and just breaking out again...KRAP KRAP KRAP AND WASTE OF ALL MY MONEY

THis product didnt work for me, i even tried the extra strength, it failed me. I used regular for 2 months ES for almost 2 weeks now. Buy the trial first, see if it works, if not, GIve DKR a try, that's what im gona do right now =)

Pros:

Has a nice smell :D

Cons:

Too expensive, if you dont use it properly it will ruiin your face.

This stuff works very well, strtaed noticing some improvment in 2 weeks, I bought the 30 day trial system it only lasted 2 weeks.:(

Pros:

It does clear your skin if you have really bad acne

Cons:

however its no good if you just have mild acne, I mean I only get pimples small ones when I'm on my period but ever since I started using proactive I started getting cystic acne on my chin (which never happen to me before).

I agree that the commercials make it seem like its a miracle product, well it isnt. I mean I dont want to use a product all my life in order to have clear skin, I just want the one pimple I get every now and then to disappear faster. I personally think that the medicine on proactive makes your skin very sensitive if you stop using it, like you'd get oily skin or break out easily if you don't use hte product. Its a huge catch if your skin only has mild acne. So don't get it unless you really need, buy some neutrogena it works better for just mild acne.

Pros:

Worked from when I was 15-20. Well, it brought my acne from severe to mild.

Cons:

Sometimes it cleared 100%. For the most part, i it never cleared me completely. After 5 years, it stopped working all together. It might be overpriced.

Give it a try. But I think there are cheaper alternatives in Walgreens which have the same ingredients.

Pros:

it usually works

Cons:

it smells horrible.. it bleeches fabrics (i believe it is the 3rd step).. and its a pain to put on.

eh.. ive used it on and off for YEARS... it clears up my acne on my back decently.. but it always comes back.. its just a vicious cycle.

Pros:

loved the scrubbing toner. made my face feel clean after i used it. didnt smell all that bad. gotten rid of some pesky black heads

Cons:

used it for about 4 to 6 months thinking my skin was getting better. but is wasnt. i continued to break out during that time. and wasnt worth the money that i payed to use it. didnt see any results

it depends on your skin type. try it after a month if you dont see results. stop wasting your money.

Pros:

smells okay...It dosen't make my skin dry like some people.

Cons:

No real results, kept my skin red, had a very wishy washy pattern to it, never made my skin clear, you run out of toner before you do the cleanser or lotion! Breaks out my cheeks :[

I would not have tried this product if it were not given to me free by my friend's sister. I don't fall into strange TV ad gimmicks, but I decided it was worth a shot while it was free, just to see what all the hype was about. When I first tried this product I thought it looked pretty nice, heard some good/bad reviews on it. Once I put the first step on my face it felt like it was actually cleaning it..maybe. The toner was nice feeling, and the lotion...oh ouch. That stuff burned my skin so harshly. My skin felt raw and looked awful and red after using it, but that slowly goes away a few minutes afterwards. Once trying it for about a week or so day and night as directed, I saw that although it didn't dry out my skin like some others have claimed, thank goodness, I noticed that it has a very wish-washy pattern to it. It'll make it seem like it's working for a while and then totally break my skin out even more.

Pros:

easy to use, and worked for the first few months

Cons:

smells like old people, leaves scars, and will slowly make your skin immune to benzoyl peroxide

The Proactiv System worked amazingly for me in the first few weeks. I noticed fewer bumps and the redness seemed to go away. After a few months though, my skin built an immunity to the light build of the treatment and it stopped working around the 4th or 5th month. This eventually lead to it making my acne much, much worse in the end.

Pros:

This product does work I have been using it for 3 years now and its great.

Cons:

first time using it your face does get worse for about 2 weeks than better, if you skip a few days without using it will screw up your acne again, and a dermatologist told me not to use the toner bc it dries out the face which makes youra cne worse

This is a great product, it is expensive but I love my skin. Also if you live in a state that is really dry than this might not work for you since it dries out your skin to work, dont use the toner it only makes pores and pimples work harder to get moisture which makes them worse. You can buy proactiv on [link removed] for way cheaper!
