Pros:

it gets rid of your acne real fast and it really works.

Cons:

you have to do it morning and night

its a great solution for acne and the best kind i've ever used.

Pros:

it clears your skin fast, its gentle, it evens the tone of your skin and makes it smooth

Cons:

its expensive, and you're sucked into automatic shipment, the smell is a bit nauseating, customer service and infomercials suck, the BP bleaches my tshirts and eyebrows

if you respond well to benzoyl peroxide, this is for you. if you're sensitive to it, dont buy it. BP is the only thing that clears my skin consistently, and so this kit clears up my skin fast and effectively and leaves me with smooth skin. Another thing to remember - once your skin is clear, this is preventive treatment, which means, if you get lazy and dont use it when you're clear, you'll probably start to break out again. This happened to me many times (when will I learn?) Overall, its a great system and has worked extremely well for me, and is actually the ONLY thing that has worked this well in treating my moderate inflammatory acne. Ive used it on and off for 3 years.

Pros:

uhhhhh..

Cons:

uhhhhhh

so my roomate has no problems with acne but he got one pimple and went to the mall and bought an $80 dollar 6 piece kit of pro active. Im 18 and have not had problems with acne before but for about 4 months it was horrible. so i was like, yoooooo aaron ill let you use my sunglasses if i can use your pro active. i figured it would work since they had commercials about it every 2 seconds. so i started using it and now i am seeing positive resulst fosho. im not having any problems with dryed skin. if you buy pro active you need to make sure to get the kit that comes with the moisturizors because if your skin is too dry, your pores create excess oil to make up more it. we all know that the main cause of acne is oil so overdrying your face is the last thing you want to do. i relize i have mis spelled a few words here, but its ok. so proactive does work as long as you keep yo gangsta face mostorized!!! WHOOO YEahhh go pro active. acne sucks and i know this. i had no life when i had it.

Pros:

Worked like a charm.

Expensive.

Proactive is definetly a good product for anyone who wants their face to look better than it does. After just two weeks your face just felt and looked healthier. I love lamp.

Pros:

smooth skin, less acne

Cons:

doesn't work over night - have to use consistently

I've had acen since I was about 12 (I'm 22), so I've tried just about everything there is out there for acne. I was very disappointed when I first started using Proactiv, because I broke out even worse than before... BUT my friend told me to keep with it, and sure enough after about 2 weeks, my skin was clear! So if you've tried this product and got frustrated because your face stayed the same or got worse - try it again, and give it a couple weeks. Proactive cleanses deep within, so it causes all the "yucky" stuff to come to the surface, therefore, it gets worse before it's better, but it's worth it!

I'm 27 and acne has always been a part of my life from 13 onward...yet after ordering Proactive in a moment of desperation, I have found the product to be everything it claims to be. The only time I get pimples is when I forget to use the cleanser, but within one day of using the clarifying lotion, the bumps are gone. For those who have claimed redness/drying skin, try reducing the number of times you use the product and you'll notice a difference. I have sensitive skin, but I found that reducing the amount of times I use Proactive during the week (1 per day) helps to reduce the amount of dryness I experienced in past.

Pros:

I like it. I have occasional acne around that time of month. I have had this for about 20 years. I have been using Proactive for over a year and my break-outs are down to a minimal if none at all.

Cons:

I don't like the 3rd step( the repairing lotion). It dries out my face.

I don't think any other product would do this. My face looks better now than in my 20's. I miss days of use, but it doesn't seem to make a difference as long as I use it more often than not. If you compare with other products on the market, I believe it has a fair price.

Pros:

Seems to really help my hormone induced adult acne

Cons:

It isn't "pretty" smelling, but it's fine for me

I really like it. It works better than anything else I've tried. I find the texture of my skin improved in leaps and bounds over night. My arms and back too. I tried a knockoff product from the store that sucked whereas Proactive worked great immediately. YOu may also have to use a moisturizer but at my age you do anyway. I am 42. I'm very happy with it so far.

Pros:

Smooth skin & no acne.

Cons:

Too expencive; Doesn't help blackheads; having to wake up early to make sure i have enough time to use it

WORKS WONDERS. I've been using this product for almost a year now, and my skin has never been better. I admit, I still get the really bad zit around my mouth now and then during 'that time of the month', but I use Panoxyl 5% on them to get rid of them. I really do not know how I would be right now without this product. It has helped me SO much. I can go on now without pounds of foundation on my face, and when I don't mind now when I get my picture taken. I have to use it twice a day in order to have clear skin, my brother only has to use it once. So it's different for everyone. Downfall -- product doesn't help BLACKHEADS. And do NOT buy their skin ligtening cream either -- it caused the blackheads I have now. ;x ew ew ew.

Pros:

It really clears you up, gives your skin an even tone, smells clean, and has made my skin very soft!

Cons:

A bit pricey, and I don't like to use the repairing lotion twice a day, it leaves a strange film, so I only use it at night. I use Cetaphil lotion for the day time, it does a better job of moisturizing.

I've been struggling with mild to moderate acne for about 8 years, and I had pretty much given up on trying to fix it. I've been using the reparing lotion as a spot treatment for a while, I got it from a friend. But I just recently got the whole kit, and my skin has cleared up in a week! I know that everyone says it stops working at a certain point, but I think if you use it correctly and change it up once in a while, it can work for you. I know a lot of people who this has worked for. It has given my skin a really nice glow...especially after using the mask!
