Pros:

makes your skin feel clean but thats about it.

Cons:

1.makes skin dry
2.doesnt help the breakouts
3.makes skin feel like its burning
4.leaves skin irritated

you dont really need this product . i used it just for 2-3 days and it made my skin condition really bad. there are many kitchen remedies to get rid of acne , you can try dabbing a mixture of honey and cinnamon on your pimple or you can even boil neem leaves and use the water to wash your face or rub some papaya on your face . bottom line is even if u have an acne it doesnt mean your ugly , as long as you have confidence and believe in yourself your good to go !

Pros:

I don't see any.

Cons:

-3 step process
-Small bottles that break easily
-It dries your skin
-irritates it quite a bit
-Stings you skin
-Very hard to cancel shipping

I hated proactiv. I was about 12-13 when I used if for about a year or so. My acne was pretty bad at that point. I kept using it expecting something from it like it said on t.v. Bascally it dries and irritates your skin. NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRAP.

Pros:

NO PROS

Cons:

MADE MY ACNE WORSE!!!!! on top of that my face became dry even with intense moisturizer, the refining mask smelt horrible and did nothing for me

I never had acne until this year and im in my early 20's, thought this would be the best treatment, unfortunately it made my face even worse! I was using it consistantly twice a day as instructed, never missed a step, and now 4 weeks later my face looks the same, actually it looked inflammed because of the system. try using 100% aloe vera gel, i applied a layer to my face last night after seeing the inflammation caused by the proactiv, this morning i noticed that the inflammation completely went away, it brought some pimples to a head, and even caused some to clear completely...I also used it after a 3 step cleansing system that is gentle on the skin with no B.Peroxide or S.Acid.

Pros:

I can't think of any.

Cons:

Everything

I don't really care how well it works. This product is HELL and so is the company. My son uses it and recently I renovated my bathroom after 25 years. The first week my brand new cream colored marble counter top, marble floor and one of the custom vanity doors has been completely ruined by this stuff. I have spots and rings from the bottom of one of the bottles etched right into the marble. It has eaten right into the stone. I called professionals and was told my $2000. countertop is ruined beyond repair. I won't even mention what it has done to my bedding and towels. I called and e-mailed the company many times and the only response I got was them wanting to know if I wanted more Proactiv. Note that the only warning mentioned on the last page of their booklet that warns that it should be kept away from colored carpet. I am furious. Imagine what this stuff does to SKIN if it can eat right through MARBLE.

Cons:

terrible for your skin! causes premature aging. makes skin very dry. seriously if you can find another skin regimen i STRONGLY suggest it

i always had mild acne. i used it on and off for a few years since 6th grade. around 8th grade it was the only skin care product i was using all through high school. honestly never REALLY worked the way they make it out to be. i have always been self conscious of my skin and would always wear makeup in public so i cant say it worked that great. around 18 i started getting hormonal acne which now my ance can be considered as moderate. it seemed like proactiv had hit a plateau with my skin b/c my acne had never been so bad and proactiv seemed to be irritating it. I JUST recently switched to kate somervilles acne line and im loving it! of course im still getting little breakouts, but nothing like bef but it is really healing my skin with the help of cephalexin(antibiotic) and tanning beds really do the trick! not good for you but it does dry out acne. its worth it to me. I STRONGLY ADVISE ALL OF YOU NOT TO USE PROACTIV. your skin becomes addicted. the withdrawls are breakouts. DO NOT USE!

Pros:

No pros at all.

Cons:

It doesn't work.

I just used it twice and my face got red, itchy, swollen... I can't even look anymore because my eyes are completely swollen, I got huge bumps in my face so my ears are hurting really badly now... I just look like a monster and I did everything exactly like it said. I even had to go to the doctor because I developped a very bad reaction on it. I am not satiesfied at all and very, very frustrated.

Pros:

Not one thing.

Cons:

My skin became painfully chapped, red, and callous, which I have never before or since experienced. And I had to pay a ridiculous amount in order for them to screw up my skin.

This product is a waste'it's not worth the packaging it's in. First, when ordering from them, they require you to auto-ship. The product is expensive to begin with, and now you're automatically billed if you forget to cancel on time. After two days of using it, my skin turned bright red and was sensitive to the touch. I used it two times daily. Over the next couple of days, my skin became so raw and painfully dry'on top of it all, I still had acne! I tried to use it only once a day, but that was still one time too many. I ended up not finishing the bottle and had to smother my face in un-petroleum jelly in order to soothe the painful dryness! My skin looked wretched; I'd rather have acne than have my skin cracked and dry to the point where it's too painful to smile. My skin is not all that sensitive, yet this is what happened. The only thing that's worked for me is Blu by herb youth. I won't touch synthetic products anymore. All natural is the only way to go.
