Pros:

Cleared my skin up. Leaves skin soft and refreshed. Clean scent.

Cons:

None

This product works well for me. I use a small amount morning and night. It foams up well and the micro beads do not irritate my skin. My skin is much clearer, feels clean, and looks refreshed. I like the scent as well. I apply some moisterizer at night only.

Smells funny

Pros:

Cleans well, not an overwhelming fragrance, you don't need very much of the product because it lathers very well for a foam.

Cons:

Very drying (everything is for me), I don't love the smell

It keeps my breakouts under control.

Pros:

Makes my face feel smooth and tingly. I love the way the cleansing cream smells (chamomile and soap bark) and it always gives me a nice refreshed feeling.

Cons:

I wish I had heard of it sooner!

I haven't used it for long, but it has reduced my mild acne already. It is AMAZING! I use the radiance day creme too, which is very richly textured, and it always helps with my dry skin patches. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!! :)

Pros:

It cleared up my acne pretty quickly

Cons:

Stings a little but it goes away in a few seconds

It works well for those small stubborn pimples,it does sting a little when first applied but it goes away in a few seconds. I had some acne spots on my face and after 2 days of using the product they pretty much cleared up ( not completley but enough for my satisfaction).
April 12, 2009

Pros:

Smells great, doesn't dry out skin, and makes my skin feel smooth and less oily.

Cons:

Stop working after a while. I think it's better to take a break for 2 days every week.

I like it a lot. I just wish it could work all the time, but pimples come back, so I take a break and use it again in about 2-3 days.

Pros:

cheap. doesn't smell bad. nice consistency, not too watery, not too thick. doesn't make my skin irritated.

Cons:

doesn't really do anything for me.. hah.

maybe it's supposed to be used on people with less stubborn skin.

Pros:

it smells good and it makes your skins really smooth

Cons:

after you use so often it will stop working or it will have no effect on your skin

it's a good product but just don't use like a every day of the year. don't constantly use it . take a brea from it for a little bit.

Pros:

it works really well, in just three days almost ALL of my acne was gone. But to be fair i didnt have a lot, just some annoying spots that i mostly noticed but not really any1 else. But it is all gone now so YAY

Cons:

none so far

i dont know why ppl are dissing the sent, it HAS no scent and i think that the moisturizer smells good. BUY IT

Pros:

Works the very first time you use it. In just 1 week you will see the difference. Clears your skin of acne and leaves it soft and smooth. Exfoliates skin, meaning it renews your skin from acne "scars"

Cons:

Although it's an acne fighter, it's NOT an acne preventer. It doesn't contain BENZOYL PEROXIDE, if you're looking for an acne prevention, used a 3 step system like Pro Activ or AcneFree.

It's a GREAT product. I had a MILD acne break-outs. I don't know if it's going to work on HEAVY/Severe acne. But in just 1 week, your skin will be clear!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
