Easy to find and with low side effects, but don’t be surprised if you are left wishing for better results after using it for a while. Any acid on its own is unlikely to dramatically clear acne.

Pros:

makes your skin feel clean, fresh, removes make up

Cons:

for the first month or so it worked great, but then my breakouts atarted coming back and now i dont think it's working very well anymore

I'd say have a back up plan. It didn't do anything significant for my skin, even thoguh it was clear for a while.

Pros:

Leaves skin soft, clean, and blemish free.

Cons:

A little drying, didn't get rid of whiteheads.

I really like this face wash, although it hasn't gotten rid of my whitheads and makes my face a bit dry it still clears up my pimples and makes my face really soft.

Pros:

If makes my skin so soft! It removes pimples after several uses and really works!

This product is amazing! I would NEVER use any other product! If you have oily skin it removes all unnatural oil and dirt! After use you can see the dirt it picked up on the pad! LOVE IT!!

Pros:

Clears up skin overnight! I have been using other acne products and they only added to my breakouts, but with Oxy cleansing pads, and the spot treatment I saw resaults very quickly.

Cons:

I have only been using oxy for a day now, and i haven't had any problems with it yet. however, it has worked very well and i can't say enough how much i love it!

Bottom Line? If you are having trouble with you acne, and the other products arent working. I WOULD definately try Oxy. It is affordable and easy to use. You do not have to go through a "4 step process" that takes up much of you time, instead you take the pad and wipe it all over.. plus you see the dirt comming off onto the pad, so you know it's working well. !!!!! PLEASE READ!!! My price was for the Oxy maximum strength pads, and ALSO the spot treatment.

Surprisingly effective
I received this moisturiser in my stocking this year and honestly, I was skeptical that it would have any effect on my moderate to severe acne as I have tried so many products that claim to clear spots with no success. However, I needed a new facial moisturiser so I thought I'd give it a go. My skin routine is minimal: after removing my makeup at night I apply sudocrem in my problem areas (I've been doing this for years) and I've started to use this moisturiser every morning and to my surprise ever since my skin has cleared up drastically. My skin is now smooth and spot free - I still have a lot of hyper pigmentation but this is easily covered with a thin layer of makeup. The moisturiser has a cooling effect which makes my skin feel refreshed and hydrated and a little bit goes a long way. For £3 I was shocked that this was so effective but am super happy with the results so far :))

I am confused... Plz help
I have the moisturizer and I don't know if it's enough to do the job... Or is there something else's I should get to go with the moisturizer, now my acne isn't terrible I have small whiteheads and blackhead everywhere around my face and from 10 feet away my skin would seem perfect but up close... Well let's just say I wish it could be better. I'm open to answer questions about my self I just need some recommendations.

so far, so good!
I've been using this product for about a month now and I have to say since I started using this I've noticed a huge difference in the amount of pimples I get. A lot of people tend to avoid scrubs because they're too harsh, but also many people use them too often, I recommend using it 2/3 times a week. DONT OVER DO IT! Also, St.ives is commonly known to use many natural ingredients (like many other brands such as the body shop) it has natural exfoliants which feel great and make my skin so smooth! I have also noticed a slight change in my red marks left behind by other pimples, this is due to removing dead skin cells off of the surface of the skin and speeding up the renewal process. It also contains 2% salicylic acid which is known to help reduce acne and redness. Overall, as of now, I'm really enjoying this product :)

Shady company - beware
Be careful buying any proactive product! they "automatically" enroll you in a continuity program, refuse to credit your card back for product you didn't order and are stuck shipping and paying for shipment. If it's such a great product, why do they have to push it on you and make it impossible to discontinue? Buy the target equivalent, pay less and don't deal with questionable business practices

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
