Side Effects

Cons:
I developed pseudo membraneous colitis
I used this product for about a year and ended up with pseudo membraneous colitis, which is a known side effect. In the end, I lost fifteen pounds in a matter of about two month and thought I was dying because I constantly felt ill. I went through a few doctors before the diagnosis was made and it was a generally horrid experience. After I stopped using it, all of the symptoms went away after a short period.

Pros:
After three months of use, I have virtually no whiteheads or pustules.
Cons:
Dries skin like crazy.
So far so good. I am using this in conjunction with an oral antibiotic (minocyclin) and cream (retin-a). While the whiteheads and pustules have virtually disappeared, I still have cysts that form every month or two and those require injections. All of these medications are available as generic, so monthly costs are low. My skin isn't perfect, but it's so much better than it's ever been. My skin tends to dry out on it's own in winter - so we shall see how this season treats it with the combination of medication and nature. I may have to invest in a stronger moisturizer.

Pros:
good for sensitive skin
clears acne
makes completion nice
Cons:
makes eyes puffy if you get it to close
can make face appear greasy under make-up
I have very bad hard to get rid of acne and sensitive skin and this has been the only product to clear up mt skin of trying different treatments for over 8 years, including acutaine, would defiantly recommend to anyone

Cons:
Did not work. I still had acne after using it with a benzoyl peroxide wash. Stings skin a lot after using and very strong smell (not a good smell).
Do not use. I have tried duac, accutane, clindamyacin, tetracycline, differin, and other medicines for acne. This one is no different.

Worked on my cystic acne (contrary to the belief of my derm)

Smells strong like Alcohol (the liquid form)
I am 23 and have always had mild to moderate acne (sometimes worse than others) but it was never a huge issue and I thought I would "grow out of it". Somewhere about a year ago I started breaking out with cystic acne on my chin. It was like one huge painful bump would form and linger for weeks and then once it finally started going down two more would appear...so I was fed up. I saw a dermatologist and asked to try clindamycin before trying any of the pills. I have the liquid type that you dab all over your face and use it once in the morning and once at night. Within a week I saw results! My face is not perfect and still breaks out every now and then, BUT I haven't had one cyst form on my chin since beginning use. It smells terrible when applying, but dries quickly and at most I need to dab a tiny bit of moisturizer on my cheeks if they start to dry out. I wash my face with a Cetaphil antibacterial soap bar before application and can apply makeup after the clindamycin has dried. This product is WONDERFUL!

I am one of those people who pops their big ugly white heads and this stuff didn't seem to help the acne problem at all. If moisturized nicely but if I had a healing zit it would just re-clog it up. Maybe I was using a little too much, maybe not. Just my 2 cents.

Pros:
works fast, makes my skin feel clean, gets rid of small pimples and reduces the size of the bigger pimples.
Cons:
strong smell, makes skin dry( i strongly suggest using a moisturizer!), sometimes irritates my (sensitive) skin.
works very well but makes my skin very dry and sometimes irritated so i only use it every other night instead of every day and night. since it makes my skin REALLY dry i use extra moisturizer on the nights that i dont use it.

Pros:
I had suffered acne for about a year and started noticing it was just getting worse and worse. So I went to my doctor and she prescribed this. I absolutely love it! I get compliments on my skin all the time now. I virtually have no zits expect around "that time of the month" and even then I only have one or two and they are sooo tinyyy. I have major confidence in my skin now. I used to be self conscious but now I dont have to wear hardly any makeup. I love it sooo much! So keep using it!
Cons:
I really don't have any except your face gets dry but if you exfoliate and moisturize your skin.. then your good :)
You should def. take it. It's wonderful.

I wanted this product to work so bad. I have batteling acne for eight years. I had the liquid that came in a bottle with the applicator soft tip. Unfortunatly, this product made my skin worse than it already was. My skin would peel, which made the product burn my skin more when I put it on. I quit using it after 6 weeks because it was doing more harm than good.

I have been using this cream for about 2 months now and i can honestly say it had no effect whatsoever on my acne. I applied it every morning before work and within that time being at work my face would produce even more oil then it already does.
