Pros:

-It works big time!!

Cons:

-Bleaches.
-Might burn and makes the skin reddish during the first week of use.
- Rediculous shipping cost and taxes.

Absolutely love these products. Have been using all kind of anti-acne stuff over the years, and couldn't find anything better. Because of the shipping cost and taxes, which make the price about three times as high, I started using over the counter produtcs again. A huge mistake. Within a week I was on the same level as a year ago. Today I ordered the regimen again which I hope will arrive soon. Dan to avoid mistakes like these again please start selling from Europe. I'm sure we'll both profit from it.

Pros:

works great. gets rid of oil. only product I'll ever use again

Didn't dry out my skin. This is the only product that has helped my acne. They also make a foaming face wash in %10 strength, but I don't think it works as well as the bar. I love this stuff, it's currently unavalable until September for reformulation. I can't wait, because I'm completly out =/

Pros:

-it temporarily cleared my acne..

Cons:

-horrible side effects as in;
-constant redness, facial hotness
-disgustingly constant dry skin
-VERY TIGHT FACE
-gave me more redmarks
-MY SKIN TEXTURE WAS HORRIBLE..
-i had very high hopes

I was on DKR regimen for about 9 weeks. my acne cleared up, it was amazing, i thought this bp was the sh*t! (as in being good.) but the side effects sadly outweighed the pros.. my young skin turned into this horrible texture thats between leathery and fish scaley? it was disgusting, i looked about 57..and it sucked where the BP gave me so many redmarks i am COVERED in redmarks and ice pick scars..i'm the type of person where i would do ANYTHING for clear skin, but being on the bp made my face so damn tight i could not SMILE FOR WEEKS, it was hard to eat, i became depressed. the flakiness was UNBAREABLE. my chin looked like a moustache with the countless number of flakes. don't get me wrong, i used jojoba oil, i used moisterizer, yet the flakes still came. i tried everything with this bp and the DKR regimen...using less then slowly adding more, then using less, and the side effects were so HORRIBLE i HADDD HAD HAD to quit this regimen.... about a day after stopping the BP my skin looked fantastic, i was beginning to have my life back!....but then not using the regimen and BP, my skin broke out horribly, it's at it's worst currently..i am so hopeless i have no choices left but Accutane. My journey is just beginning with Accutane, I hope i'm not let down (I know I won't be.) My word of advice, Please. Please do not use BP it will screw your skin up, please i don't want anyone to go through the hell I had to go through. Do some research on Accutane, it will save your motherf**king life.

Pros:

The Refining Mask
The Toner

Cons:

Too expensive for todays's economy

EyI first started using Proactive when it first ameo on the scene. Nothing else worked Proactiv did .... back then. Now they've watered it down and it does NOTHING for my face. Imagine my disappointment. Outta $60 and still have the same problem. Neutrogena Rapid Cleanse surpasses Proactive's promises as far as the cleanser goes. Plus it's only $9 at any drug store. However Proactive does have other products that are excellent in conjunction w/ other cleansers

Pros:

I ordered Clear and Smooth for my son who is 48, and has always had acne. He has tried all kinds of other products and some have worked for a while, then he would hae the same problems with his skin. But he loves Clear and Smooth. His skin looks much better and I have just ordered his second bottle for him.

Cons:

None

My son is so pleased with Clear and Smooth. I love the soap and use it a lot. This is a class A product and company.

Pros:

If you have sensitive skin like I do, buy the Acne-Free Sensitive. It has cleared up my skin better than anything, and I've tried Pro-Activ, Clearasil, Clean & Clear and all kinds of cleansers and scrubs. This is the best one!

Cons:

It will dry out the delicate skin under your eyes if you get some of the Corrective Cleanser on it, but if you use a little more of the pH Balancing Moisturizer it helps.

The Cleanser has Tea Tree oil in it, which makes it feel good when you rub it on your skin. I love this product and plan on buying it again!

Pros:

cheap
very effective
lightweight
doesn't smell
not noticeable after it dries

Cons:

irritates skin if you don't moisturize a lot
bleaches my shirt collars

be careful about putting it near your neck or else your clothes will have bleach stains. other than that, it's the best stuff i've ever used, and i have been on accutane twice with no results, now i'm completely acne free! you just have to be consistent with the treatment or it won't work!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
