Pros:

Did not work. Made my skin a lot worse.

Cons:

Completely burned my skin off.

I used this in a few areas on my face. One or two big pimples, and then some smaller ones that were just starting to form. It completely dried out my whole face, and I was peeling for days after I used it. There was one big pimple that I had on my cheek, and after applying the persa gel, that pimple swelled to three times the size. It seemed like it was swelling and filling up with something. Then the next day, my skin completely peeled off in that area. It was red, raw skin and it burned and didn't heal for at least 3 weeks. It looked like I had a chemical burn there, it was horrible and took so long to heal. It still isn't completely gone and it's been almost a month. I would defnitely not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin.

Pros:

Best skin care products for sensitive skin by far. Skin is left soft and clear within the first month of use. Gentle enough for the whole family. Bar soap is grea,t head to toe.

Cons:

None

Wonderful product, excellent personalized customer service & highly recommended to all.

Pros:

I've been using this product for 8 years or more and I recommend it to everyone! It only takes 30 seconds in the shower once a day and that's it. I get amazing results. Product lasts a long time and the price can't be beat.

Cons:

A family member has rosacea and she did not like this product at all. But everyone else likes it including many with sensitive skin. I will continue to buy it and recommend it

GREAT!

Pros:

cheap, you can buy it when you run out (unlike proactive charging your account when you didnt even fully use the first shipment yet and you end up with a bazillion treatment products), simple process,

Cons:

havent experience any dryness that everybody is complaining about.

i dont have too much acne but when i flared up it would seem to come all at one time. This product has helped to subdue the flare ups and even prevented them. It also evened out my skine tone. Where i had dark spots (due to popping my pimples) it cleared it and balanced out my skin tone. proactive worked for me, so does this product but i do like the fact thats its more affordable. unlike proactive being almost $50 after the promotion you get.

Pros:

ive been using it for over a month and the texture of my skin has improved but a couple of white heads have broken into pimples.

Cons:

do remember to wash your hands with soap after applying it or you will end up bleaching your towel and also wait for it to dry up before going to bed

has worked for me but dont know how long to use it.its too expensive for regular use.

Pros:

Simple, Easy, Mostly effective, Inexpensive

Cons:

Dries out skin (use with moisturizer), Didn't work at first, Doesn't completely clear skin, BP treatment runs out a few days before the pills do

At first, nature's cure made my acne worse. It took about 3 1/2 weeks before it started to get better. But finally it definitely started to get rid of my acne, but so far, after having used it for six weeks, my acne is not fully gone but it's not too bad at all. I just have a few small zits and I don't need to use makeup to cover them because you can't really notice them unless you're way up close. I wrote a blog documenting my use of Nature's Cure with pictures and it can be found here: [link removed]

Pros:

Easy 3 step process. Benzoyl Peroxide treatment

Cons:

NOT worth the insane dollar amounts they try to charge when you can go to your local Target and buy the same 3 step products off the shelf for half the cost.

I am a disappointed and angry customer after trying the product based on their $20 trial system. Not even 3 weeks after I received my package, I had another charge on my debit card!! I was not even aware that I was being signed up for recurring shipments and that they kept my credit card information. I immediately called to stop the delivery, but they said it had already been shipped. That was 10 days ago and I still have no product on my doorstep so we'll see. Stick to your regular acne wash or visit a doctor, this product is an example of a mega marketing campaign that will probably fade away in the next couple years. For most people, benzoyl peroxide should be used very sparingly and not on the sensitive skin on your face. Use the drugstore systems, they have the same ingredients for half the cost!

Pros:

Very Easy to use, little scent, fairly effective. It is important to note that I used the sensitive skin version.

Cons:

Too little face wash compared with moisturizer and terminator

It cleared my skin up about 97%. If I touched or pushed anything that looked like a zit, it would turn into one, but if I left everything alone, I was good. I ran out of the face wash really fast and would have to buy the entire system again which was really annoyed and means I have about 7 tubes of terminator.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
