Works beautifully and very gentle!
Amazing! Best BPO I've ever tried, and I have tried every strength - 5%, 10%, and Dan's 2.5%. Honestly, Dan's 2.5% works the BEST. It is gentle, and so effective! No harsh additives or any other pore clogging ingredients :)

Best BP I've ever used
I always go to this site before I use a product or just to read the forums for advice. Because of this I'm posting my review in the hopes of helping someone else out. This has worked wonders for me. I'm not stranger to BP, I've been using it since I was a teen. Recently I tried a new product and it broke me out REALLY bad. I never used this before even though it's always been something I wanted to order based on the good reviews, but it always seemed pricey and i just ended up using store BP brands. After trying to do damage control after a really bad breakout the store brands weren't working for me and I was desperate so i finally ordered it. Yes it's price but you get the bang for your buck. When I received it I was so surprised on how big the bottle was. It applies like a lotion, which doesn't dry me out as much as other brands. I've tried other lotion like acne products (Acnefree and proactiv repair lotion) and they always make my screen feel really tight. This doesn't at all. I recommend using a moisturizer with this ESPECIALLY if you're new to BP. BP is drying so you need to hydrate your skin to balance it out. I use Cerave, which works for me. I naturally have dry and sensitive skin so it gives me the moisture I need, not sure if it would be too much if you have oily skin. This hasn't completely cured my acne, I have yet to find something that does. But this is the best product I used thus far and for that I'm grateful I finally ordered it. My breakouts have subsided and my acne scars aren't that red anymore. I always wear foundation because of acne and this product has made me feel more comfortable to go without it some days, and that's saying a lot.

Pretty awesome cream!!
I think we should trust this product, it is professional and good working cream, I have used this product from long time and I hadn't any bad problems, but it is good for my skin and I prefer it, more than another product, it keeps my skin always healthy and clean, I really like it, thanks.

Two months, terrible problem
I think my acne has improved somehow... Though I still get some bad acne... But the problem is my eyes and the red patch near my eyes... My skin became not only red but also hard!! When I touch the part, I feel like there is another layer on my skin so that my skin sensitivity is less!!! Is this normal...? Please help me. I'm seriously considering stopping regimen... Plus I got wrinkles on my eyes!!! I'm only 21..... Help me please....

I had this problem also when I first began the regimen, however, here is what I do to counter that problem: I apply a bit of moisturizer to my eyelids, under eyes, sides of nose and perimeter of mouth immediately after applying the benzoyl peroxide and before letting the benzoyl peroxide absorb and dry. This technique has prevented the redness and pain caused by benzoyl peroxide's contact with those sensitive areas. Then, once the benzoyl peroxide is completely absorbed and set, I use a generous amount of moisturizer on my whole face (as the regimen recommends). I have been using the regimen since November 2014 with life-changing results (seen within the first three months). Those sensitive areas just need a little bit of extra protection. Keep going, because the regimen really works!

"My skin became not only red but also hard!! When I touch the part, I feel like there is another layer on my skin" - same here. Besides having the skin thickened it became sensitive as well! And even I have stopped using the BP more than 6 months ago I still have sensitive skin.

It works! GIVE IT TIME!!!!!!! FOLLOW IT EXACTLY!
Okay so it doesn't fade your scars, but it keeps the acne from coming. It took me about a month of using this EXACTLY how it tells you to. And about a month (maybe longer I don't remember) I have no acne. Although I do still have scars, they look way better without the acne making them stand out more. I use this treatment and no other products on my face. When I first started using it I waited about a month and then tried to switch moisturizers to CerVe. That was a terrible idea. My face started to break out again. So I've been using this again and now I'm at this point where my face is clear (besides one or two small zits) and I just ordered more. It is truly worth it. Just be patient. The moisturizer makes my face red yes, but its better than having acne. Also I think the red is caused by the reaction of the BP and glycogen. But in the morning I go a little lighter on the BP and wait a little longer before applying moisturizer and my face seems less red. REMEMBER YOU NEED TO FOLLOW IT EXACTLY AND GIVE IT TIME!!!

YES believe the hype!!
I purchased the Big Kit as a last ditch effort to get rid of my acne. I figured by just starting out with the big sizes it would force me to commit to the regimen for at least a few months which is when they tell you that you should see the best results. Best choice I ever made! This is the only skincare I've used for the past 2 months to get rid of my severe hormonal acne and it's GONE. My skin has never looked better. I've spent TONS of money at the doctor, products, and facials with no success. The doctor told me most recently that my last resort was accutane which I refused to take. So I'm so glad I found this it is the best. Believe the hype.

I’m just starting this regiment now and what you just described is the exact same thing I did, I hope this thing works because I’m really at a lost cause here :/ but thank you for the review it gives me a little hope that my acne will get better.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
