Unreal
Literally was covered in acne for about 4 months and nothing from the doctor, pharmacy or natural remedies had any impact at all in stopping it. It was so bad I went to the doctor for some other problem and the first thing he did was comment on my acne and book me an appointment with a dermatologist for accutane, but decided to have one more attempt at stopping it with some other products online that I hadn't tried as I have really bad ezcema with dry skin so the accutane would have literally destroyed me. Within 1 month, my cystic acne with at least 40+ active pimples turned into about 5 pimples, and 2 months on it literally COMPLETELY cleared. Now about 4 months in, haven't had a spot for about 2 months. can't believe how well this has worked, saved my skin from that poisonous shit that wouldn't have even worked as well, if you're struggling with acne 100% give this a go. *Note: I had / have severe eczema, had it all over my face and this surprisingly didn't have any negative impact at all, can't recommend this enough!

This changed my life
Acne.org truly changed my life and this is the story: Roughly 6 years ago (I was 8) I started to notice pimples on my forehead, small whiteheads. There were only a few but I started to feel so different from everyone else because I was 8, nobody had skin problems at that age. Luckily, my best friend started to get pimples at that time too so I wasn't alone. I was Avery confident child and the pimples didn't bother me too much.Few years past and my pimples would come and go, I stil had very little just on my forehead. When I was 10, people would start to say comments about my skin, joke and laugh. This was the stage in my life where I lost all my confidence. Hearing all these comments made me so sad, and the worst part was that I couldn't do anything to fix it. That year I started to use all different kinds of face washes, creams, lotions, everything imaginable. The next year came and it was start of secondary school (in US like freshman year). I was 11 and my skin at the point went way worse than the year before, and I still had my best friend by my side, but my skin was worse than hers. I was so insecure, I couldn't face myself in the mirror because I saw my skin. I tried all things, nothing worked. I kept on getting nasty, rude comments and I just hit a down hill in my life where I couldn't handle it anymore. I tried to stay strong. Some days were better than others but still it wasn't good. I told myself everyday "I will get rid of acne soon, and some people have it worse". And it's true some people have it worse. The next year, 2016-2017 my skin was at its worst point. It had never been so bad. My best friends skin was slowly starting to recover but mine wasn't. It was so embarrassing for me to walk around. When I spoke to people I saw them staring at my skin, secretly judging me. I tried to hide my face with my hair and avoid talking. I was so sick with everything so I finally decided to meet a dermatologist. She gave me a prescription and it started to work! I was so happy and at one point my skin was so clear, but that didn't last long. Few months after in the summer my skin went bad again. I didn't know what was happening. 2017 in September, new school year 2017 I revisited the skin Doctor. She gave me a different cream and it didn't work well. I went to another dermatologist and she gave the same one as I ever had and pills (by then I had gotten my first period). It started to work a bit and slowly but she decided to change it again to the other one and my skin got worse. The worst part of this was that nobody in my year group had acne and it was very early for me to get it and that made it so awful, I was alone. Then I was introduced to foundation. Every morning I would add layers and layers of it. It would make my skin less red but the bumps were still visible. I was a bit more confident but I wasn't happy. I also had chest and back acne and this stopped me from wearing my favorite shirts and wearing bikinis at beaches and pools.I stopped using the cream and used this random moisturizer that worked okay. This year, few weeks ago, I was fed up. I was so done with acne. I couldn't handle it anymore. In the middle of the night I did so much research about acne. I came across tons of scam videos called "how I cured my acne" they were all so fake. Then one video, said "acne.org". She said how amazing it was but it wasn't too believable. More videos came up about it and I watched all. Then I finally searched it up, and it looked familiar. I've come across this site before, years about but though it was a scam. I read all the reviews and begged my parents to order it. They did. Two weeks later (in Holland) it came. Now I'm on day 5 and already it's done wonders. I'm so thankful for this product. I do it very strictly everyday x2. My acne is not just on my face but also my chest and back and it's already starting to clear up. I love this regimen so much and recommend everyone to try it out, it will save your life!

Dried my skin out but works well
Yes, this is extremely drying. I have combination to oily skin and this gave me dry patches around my mouth and nose. I started using this along with the AHA and my skin has improved greatly. I now use this as more of a spot treatment. I can go without using this for a month and the minute it touches the skin around my mouth it is super dry there the very next day. That's why its more of a spot treatment now

Extremely drying at first but amazing in the long run
I have been using this as part of the regimen for almost 2 years and it has cleared my skin very well. At the beginning my skin became very dry and flaky and it was painful considering i have very oily skin. After around a month and a half, my skin became very hyper-pigmented and extremely dry. 2 months later with the help of jojoba oil, the hyper-pigmented skin literally began falling off! it revealed amazing skin underneath which is very clear until now. i do not use it as frequently now. I try to use it every night but usually use it maybe 4 to 5 times a night in a week. I live in the UK and ship this using a freight forwarding company or when a relative goes to the states, I ship it to where they are staying and they bring it back to me.

Been looking for reviews on people who used the regimen until their acne was cleared then stopped. What happened /happens after, because using it for life sounds scary

Hi,

Extremely sorry for the late response.

I still have the products. I do not use it every night. Just as spot treatment usually when it's my time of the month.

Hope this helps!

Lifesaver!
I absolutely love this product. I started having terrible acne a few years ago. My forehead was filled with tiny bumps. My cheeks and chin would break out with cystic acne. And when the pimple was gone, it would leave an ugly scar. The scars made it worse, because they would linger for months and it made my acne look even worse. It wasn't clear to me what suddenly caused my acne. I tried so many things to cure it. Hormonal medication, OTC treatments, herbal treatments, antibiotics, home remedies...basically everything short of Accutane. The acne was so bad that I could not step out without make-up. My confidence took a big hit. I was so self-conscious of how I looked. In hindsight, I might have been close to getting into depression because of it. I am not sure how I found out about Acne.org..might have been videos on Youtube by users of the product who swore by it. I figured it might be worth a shot...and thank god I thought to try it. The first month was rough like expected. The peeling and dryness and stinging of the eye was not fun. And the acne was still there too. But by the second month things started looking upwards. The peeling reduced and so did the acne. By the third month, my acne had considerably reduced and I didn't have any peeling. By the fourth or fifth month, my family members could not believe how much change had happened. I was like a new person. I would get so many compliments on my skin. I continue to use the BP treatment 3 years later. I don't have to use it as much now. It keeps my acne away and I am a much happier person. :)

Some help
Ok can I just say, I'm a 14 year old girl (Caucasian) who doesn't have proper bad acne but I do get a lot of little breakouts and big pimples here and there, recently I have also started get very very sore painful cystic spots around my face in deiffernet areas, these are very hard to clear but I use other products for them. I am athletic and I do competitive swimming so I hate having spots because for obvious reasons I can't wear makeup to swimming. I think clearasil is accually very good because it doesn't really do anything when u just aply it to one spot but I started putting it all over my face every night and washing it off in the morning. If you keep doing this you will notice your skin starts to really clear. It prevents a lot of breakouts I promise, but again different things work for different people so just try this. Also it doesn't cause any irritation and is not strong at all so you don't have to worry about breaking out if your skin doesn't take to it

Honestly try it, if it works, you're in very good hands. It worked for me and I changed the moisturizer because it wasn't for me but moisturizers are unique for many different skin types/people so I heard;therefore don't knock it till you try it. The Cleanser (step 1) and Treatment (step 2) is what works. Like from human to human not a scam and they are known as top treatments from other sources. Um also it gets worse before it gets better I'm 1 month and two weeks in. Hopefully it works for you all. Good luck.

Clears skin but makes skin red

Been on the regimen for 5 months ish. Using own moisturizer and cleanser. This regimen DOES clear your skin especially if you do it twice a day. However, your skin will get red and dry, which is a big negative side effect in my opinion. So I guess there is a tradeoff between clear skin and reddish skin. 4/5

EDIT!

1 year later - I've been doing the regimen twice a day for 1 year and 5 months now. The regimen keeps the skin 90% clear, however i still get red and irritated skin after applying BP. So I have 90% clear skin but my skin is red while the rest of my body is white...

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
