Pros:

This is heaven in a bottle for me! When I first started using it my face was covered with blemishes but this got rid of them in 4 days. It doesn't irritate my skin, and it works quickly.

Cons:

It's a bit pricey for such a small bottle, but it's worth it.

It works like a charm.

Pros:

It made my skin feel smooth. It reduced my blackheads around my chin area. It's very affordable, and it was convenient. I purchased the product at Walgreens.

Cons:

It will dry your face out after the first couple of times you use it. It takes longer than three days for you to see results which they claimed on the box.

If you have moderate or very little acne I think you should give it a try. Use a moisturizer after the third step to prevent your face from getting dry.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Irritated my skin, overnight cream gave me some intense peeling and the lotion did absolutely no help.

This product did not work on my active acne at all. Total waste of money and time.

Pros:

Dried out the pimples that i already had

Cons:

If you have moderate acne i would suggest using somthing less strong. i have stopped using this product and have used the "wave" it works very well and doesnt dry out at all just cleanses. Also just use a spot treatment~

Pros:

it works!!! . safe 2 use everyday and it doesnt dry out your skin like most other products do with continuous use. i especially love the natural soaps that come with it.

Cons:

i honestly cant think of anything bad to say about this product

it works wonders and have been quite amazed at the difference it has made to my skin. you just have to give it time to work and make sure you follow the instructions. my skin became worse wen i first started to use it but i stayed with it and now i cant believe the difference it has made. I do still have slight red marks but I have only been using it for around 3months so expect they will go after a while. Thankyou so much. you have a great product:)

Pros:

Nothing!!!

Cons:

Everything-the way it made my skin feel, the smell, dry skin, the process, the cost. Oh, and the fact that it made my skin worse!

I started using this early this past summer to help acne/prevent new breakouts. I used it exactly as the directions has stated and not only did it not help but it made my skin worse. I started breaking out under my chin, along the jawline, and on my neck! Places that I never had acne before. The cost is ridiculous and I cannot even believe I bought it. I know everyone has different skin and why didn't work for me could work for others, but your money will probably be better spent on something else that will actually wok.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
