Pros:

Works at preventing zits from showing up, even those that typically come at a certain time of month
Unscented so I like that
Easy to dispense from bottle

Cons:

Sometimes I feel a mild burning/tingling on the skin

This product works and is a great value for the amount of BP that you get in the bottle. I only use this in the evenings so this should last me a really long time. I used to purchase the BP that came in a tube so that's why I noticed that this formula tends to burn/tingle the skin. When I first used it, it actually made my eyes water (no, the product was not in or around my eyes) but I'm just more careful now to apply less around the eye area. Overall, this product is keeping my skin happier than it was before and keeping blemishes under control (unless I've been picking).

Pros:

This product feels great on my skin. works great.

Cons:

Too many steps.

I've been using this product for about three to four days, and it seems to be working. I wake up every morning with less ace then the day before. I have yet to see anything wrong with the product, besides the fact that it a four step system. Overall, It seems to be working on me. It could also be because i haven't used this product enough to have any negative things to say about it.

Pros:

Excellent products that actually work! My skin is clear for the first time in ages. The soap & scrub smell fabulous, are made of natural (gotta love that!) ingredients, the soap lathers nicely, u get free samples, $ back guarantee, I could go on &on!

Cons:

Absolutely none. I was worried I would have an initial breakout based on some other reviews, but this agreed well with my super oily, extremely acne-prone skin, and I even bought the regular version (not Kick@ss).

I have been dealing with moderate to moderately severe acne for the past 10 years, and in that that time, I have tried literally everything. Dermatologists (antibiotics, topical Rx's galore, tetricyclen, birth control), Murad, ProActiv, all drugstore/dept. store stuff.. and the list goes on. In that time, the ONLY times I've been temporarily clear were when I was on Accutane (the acne came back), and for a few months while I was pregnant, & NOW since I started using Carley's 4 wks ago. I am so thrilled! I always read reviews before buying something but I never write them, but for this, I had to. Give it a try!! I came across this probably 4-5 years ago, and why I didn't try it then, I don't know -- I wish I would have! It would have saved me tons of money and lots time consumed by my self-conscious anxiety. I guess finding it now is better late than never! I will continue using this as long as my skin continues to be prone to breakouts because it has been the ONLY thing that's helped.

Pros:

Clears up your face, exfoliates skin so it glows, and it feels refreshing.

Cons:

A bit pricy, you'll still break out a bit, the moistruizer dried my face out, so I just switched to the regular dramatically different moisturizer and it works fine.

It's a great product. I used to use some prescription face washes and gels from the doctor, but it just dried out my skin horribly and did little to help. With Clinique, I still break out, but it's a lot better than before and only a little bit. Also, it not only prevents acne but makes your skin smoother and makes it look better. After only a week, my skin looked much better. Overall, I recommend it tremendously and it's a lot better than anything I've used.

Pros:

Seems to work well as part of "The Regimen." It's my 2nd week on "The Regimen" and it's going well. I'm psyched!!!

Cons:

Does not "glide" over the skin -- becomes a bit tacky with a toothpaste-like consistency. Therefore it is difficult to spread it around gently, without feeling like I am dragging or pulling my skin a bit, with my fingertips.

I'm 33 and have light acne. I have been following "The Regimen" perfectly, for about 2 weeks: 1. I wash with Neutrogena soap (the "acne-prone skin formula" which is non-medicated, it's just the traditional amber-colored, transparent face soap.) 2. Then I apply Neutrogena "On The Spot" all over my face, as dictated by The Regimen. 3. Lastly, I apply a generic, drugstore version of Cetaphil Lotion. 4. No sunblock. I'm very fair, so I religiously wear a sun hat. I have found that this product (Neutrogena On-The-Spot) works well with The Regimen. I am generally doing all three steps, morning and night. My face gets too red at times, so, over the course of the past 2 weeks, I have occasionally eliminated ONE of the twice-daily BP doses (instead, I gently wash my face, and only apply moisturizer afterwards.) I plan to reward myself by ordering Dan's "AHA+" in August. I think I will incorporate the AHA+ very gradually. Perhaps using it twice a

Pros:

It helps... Obviously there's no cure. can't afford accutane so I buy this.

Cons:

Its not the cure. But better than anything else I've wasted money on.

Try it. If you actually have acne.

Pros:

It made my skin feel refreshed. That's about it.

Cons:

Dried my skin out. Didn't work.

I thought it would be great cuz it had BP. My face broke out and I was like why? I read the ingredients and it contains OIL. Most people with acne dont use anything with oil cuz it makes it WORSE!

Pros:

Heals and Prevents Acne!!!!!

Cons:

I would probally have to say the shipping costs are pretty high.

READ!! I have been suffering from acne for about 7 years. Absolutely nothing I was using worked. Seriously I tried almost everything! I read the reviews of this product and i still was quite skeptical. I finaaly tried it. Man!! I didnt see a difference for the first couple of days but about 2 weeks later i literally had no pimple!!!! Before I had this product my acne was very severe. Embarrasing. What I did. My Regimen !. Wet your face with warm water 2. Apply the cleanser exactly how dan does it in the videos. 3. Let dry 4. Apply BP just enough to cover the face 5. Let dry.

Pros:

Works well! dosen't cause irritation, not that drying compared to others iv tried, shipping was incredibly fast! (i paid the cheapest one and it said it would take up to 3 weeks to arrive but arrived in jsut 4 days! )

Cons:

the pump on the bottle dosen't always work that well

I've been using this stuff for about 3 weeks and the acne on my forehead has almost totally cleared, my skin is the smoothest/clearest its been in years. I had moderate acne before with atleast 20 red bunps/pimples/large bumps at anyone time and now i only have one pimple, and some left over red marks.

Pros:

It seemed to work really good the first month of using it, I had been breaking out a lot and it really took care of it.

Cons:

The longer I had been on it, I noticed that I was still having problems in the same areas. It definitely does NOT cure acne. When I get a few pimples, it does not make them go away faster. It makes my skin feel oily.

It is nice to try if you are having an acne problem that you want to clear up quickly but it seems like the longer you are on it the less it works. I would recommend trying the $19.95 trial and then cancel your membership. I believe that it may work better for some people than others and you never know until you try it.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
