So I've had ance for a while and it seemed like nothing worked for my face and scars. So I decided to use the acne regimen .. The first two weeks were great but then my face really started to itch and burn and now I unfortunately have more ance than I did before I started using this ... Great ...

this wash is great for combating the acne bacteria. Does dry out skin a bit but that may be what you're looking for.

Best there is
So I've had bad acne for about three years now most around my jaw line, cheek and neck area. I've been using this regimen for only one week now and I can honestly say my skin is looking the best it has looked in those 3 years. I apply a little more of BP around my chin and jawline as that's my most affected area. I would definitely recommend over using your moisturiser as your skin can dry out from the BP. This has definitely changed my life and I will continue to use it!

Finally something that works
I did not have acne during my teen or young adult years, but began to get really bad adult acne in my mid 40's. I am now in my mid 50's and have tried many products and saw various dermatologists over the years, but nothing seemed to work. It may have worked for a few weeks, but soon returned even worse than ever. I began my acne.org regimen on March 26, 2016 and initially I thought just another product that won't work, because I did not see any results in the first two weeks, but had a lot of dry flaky skin. I contacted a very nice lady at acne.org and she told me to be patient and continue to use the regimen as directed because for some people it may take longer to get results. And, to my surprise my acne has cleared up in four months. I never thought the large cystic acne would ever go away. I followed the regimen as directed the entire time and it worked! I continue to use the face wash and moisturizer daily. If I have a small breakout, I will use the Benzoyl again and within a week the breakouts are battled. Thank you acne.org for producing this awesome product.

The Acne regimen
I wish i would have taken photos of how ugly my acne was before buying this regimen, my acne builds on my cheeks, chin, forehead, & side temples of my head. My acne leaves dark spots so i do have a lot acne scars but what can i say I've tried almost everything until i decided to try this! It worked sort of; i no longer get no new pimples after 3 months of use, my acne has calmed down i still have acne scars but not as harsh looking as they used to look. Although I'm not a big fan of the moisturizer so i do use Cetaphil lotion instead feels better on my skin. I really encourage anyone who is trying this or is wanting to try this to moisturize! the Benzoyl Peroxide treatment leaves your skin so dry even if you wash your face daily & does cause your skin to peel off if you don't moisturize regularly. I love this product although my skin is not absolutely clear yet but there's a huge difference in my skin, it's more glowing, smoother, & cleaner with a few acne pumps now. I honestly thank Acne.org for this product so much! For a 17 yr old like me suffering from acne since 14 which only got worse through the years i finally managed to control it & give my skin back it's glow. (BTW I did change my diet while using this product during the summer) In my opinion i would not recommend this for someone with severe acne or very sensitive skin. I did share this with my sister who has sensitive skin & her acne type is different than mine it didn't make a difference for her but that's just my opinion everyone is different so who knows it might work for you.

Changed my life!
This product has COMPLETELY changed my life. As most of the people on here, I had tried every drugstore product available, yet nothing seemed to help my acne. My acne was moderate-severe, and this product has made me into an entirely different, more confident, happy, positive, and beautiful person. I do not know what I would do without this product!!!!!!

My acne was become worse To a point where I don't even want to look at my self. I heard about acne.org on YouTube and I said why not give it a try! I've tried so many products but nothing works, it just makes my skin more dry! When the kit arrived I notice that one of the bottles was used(the Moisturizer).

Disappointed
My skin felt really dry and patchy after using the treatment. Actually thought it would be more gentle since its Neutrogena.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!! Once the BP absorbs you should apply tons of moisturizer. If the one your are using now isn't working try using a richer one. I also recommend oils such as jojoba or organ. They really help balance my skin and control oiliness. Don't give up on the BP. Good luck!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
