Product used: PanOxyl (Benzoyl Peroxide (10%) Aquagel)
Instant effect
Put this on overnight, in the morning size of spots dramatically reduced and redness was almost completely gone. Skin feels quite dry however, so would recommend using a moisturiser.

Best acne treatment I have ever used
This is more of a review of the whole acne.org treatment plan (benzoyl peroxide, cleanser, and moisturizer) rather than just this product. TL;DR: If you have acne and want to clear it up, just buy these products. Most likely you will not regret it. Use all three products, do as the instructions say, and stick with it for at least a couple months. I can almost guarantee your skin will clear up. I had moderate acne when I started using these products. The first few weeks it dried out my skin a bit and caused little white flakes to appear on my face. However, the moisturizer covers that up pretty well. I had huge improvement over the first month, and now the few spots of acne I do get are minimal and clear up within a few days. Just to put its acne-clearing power into perspective...for about 80% of my time in high school, I had severe acne. It was so bad that I shut down and rarely talked to anyone because I could feel them looking at my face. I was very self-conscious of it. In my senior year of high school, I started using a prescription treatment called amnesteem, which cleared my face entirely, but it was expensive, dried out my face very badly, and could only be used for a short amount of time. The three acne.org products I've been using for over a year are just as effective as amnesteem, cheaper, and don't have permanent negative side effects. My face is almost as clear as it was when I was a kid, and I have acne.org to thank for it. I cannot give this treatment plan enough praise...I'm just happy something like this even exists in the market.

HUGE success
I started the Regimen in September 2015 using this acne.org BP and I have completely clear skin now. It has done wonders for keeping acne at bay, and even helping clear up redness and old scars. For anyone who has struggled with acne for 10+ years like I have, I highly suggest giving this a try. I remember at the beginning, I was very skeptical, but stuck through it and now, it is paying off. Keep up the hope and just give it a try and see if it works or you! :)

Product used: La Roche-Posay (Effaclar Duo)
Would give it 5/5, but...
unfortunately the price tag dropped it a star. That is really the only thing bad I have to say about this product. I have been using Dan's Regimen for... oh jeez, almost 7 years now? Anyway, the Regimen is the only thing that has ever truly worked for me. However, recently I have been having acne problems again, not totally sure why (too many variables to narrow it down). I bought this because I noticed that it had a slightly higher concentration of BP than my normal acne.org stuff, and it also had some LHA for exfoliation. I am glad that I bought it, because it seems to be the extra kick my face needed to start purging itself of the cysts lurking beneath my skin. I still have teeny tiny whiteheads on my forehead, but I think nothing short of an act of God will make those go away. I only use it once a day, as it makes my skin sensitive and I don't want to overdo it. My facewash is neutrogena ultra gentle hydrating cleanser, creamy formula. My moisturizer is acne.org moisturiser, and after that is finished soaking in, I apply a layer of neutrogena deep moisture night cream to pack it in. Once a week I use a korean face mask for extra moisture. I have severely dry skin, and this Effaclar Duo (original version, not plus) (U.S. version) did not seem to make it any worse than usual. Of course, I have been using BP for years, so keep that in mind.

only for people who get 1-2 pimples a month
This is not for anyone who has anything more than the mildest cases of acne, for it is to abrasive and irritating, and simply does not work. I used it for a few month back when I first got acne in the 6th grade. It worked for a two months and I remember vividly just breaking out more and more and being super embarrassed. I think it actually made my acne worse. Watch some of the commercials for this stuff. The people on there who talk about it in their before pictures literally have like one or two tiny pimples on their face. Of course it worked for them, they don't have acne lol.

noooo
This was just not for me. When I started the Carley's cleanser for about a month and a half, my skin went crazy and It gave me these HUGE cystic acnes on new spots that didn't have acne before. I still used it for about 3 months hoping to see some results, but guess what. Now I'm left with ugly cysts all over my face and neck and chest.

Product used: Clinique (Acne Solutions Clear Skin System)
Crappy
I have hormonal acne that isn't SEVERE but it's pretty bad, and I started using Clinique about a year ago and I purchased the Acne Solutions line as well as foundation and powder. I was using nothing but Clinique on my face. Face wash, toner, mosterizer, foundation and powder. I will say that it did clear my skin for about a good 3 months, however after that it went right back to how it was before if not worse. I continued to use all of the products in hopes that it was just a phase and I think my body just got to immune to it and stopped working. I have always wanted to try all natural products so now I am using African Black Soap, as well as a moisturizer that is natural. It seems to be working well and clearing my acne slowly but surely. I still use the foundation and powder from Cliniqu because its fragrance free, however I will probably find something new once my face clears. It's too pricy and I have the makeup specifically for oily skin, and my face is still super oily. I wouldn't waste money on this.

You just have to know how to handle it
I use this not as a spot treatment but all over my entire face.. because my entire face is one spot of acne. As far as BP creams go, this one is great. It dries you out, but that's what it's supposed to do. As long as you moisturize about 10 minutes after using it with something like Cetaphil facial moisturizer, you shouldn't experience any dry spots. It's also worth mentioning that your skin has to get used to the strength of the BP, which can take several days of use. As far as whether or not it works, I'd like to think that it does. It definitely seems to help bring my pimples to a whitehead when they're deep and inflamed. For me, it doesn't really prevent acne but it at least helps shorten its lifespan.
