Pros:

I have only used zapzyt for 2 days but I can tell that the pimples are shrinking! It is a low cost and doesnt take a big amount to cover the problem areas. Makeup goes under nicely. If it doesnt work they let u return it!!

Cons:

Kinda makes grainy texture when u apply. My face is pretty dry but I havent been using lotion. So probably my fault. I still recommend this product!

Gr8 product I wish I would have known about it a long time ago! Ill give it more time and see when happens! Good luck to everyone else!

Pros:

It works heaps good.. it almost cleared my skin and I have only been using it for two weeks...

Cons:

Makes your skin go red in the first week but if you put alot of moisturizer it should go away quickly... try not to use it to much though

Pros:

I have been using the reparining lotion and the results are OK. No major breakouts for the past two weeks-a big improvement from a new blemish everyday.

Cons:

It did take a while to start working (almost two months) and I have to be consistent. My skin is very flaky and sensitive now.

With the advice from this site, my skin has been better. Another BP product might have the same result.

Pros:

Quick working, doesn't dry out skin, leaves skin smooth, gets rid of acne. Does everything it promises.

Cons:

Thinking hard to find any..I guess- don't get the soap in your mouth or up your noise at all, really stings :(

Best acne product ever. I have tried clearasil 10% benzol peroxide, the walmart equate benzol peroxide - since I will still getting 'some' acne I moved to 'Clear Pores'. That worked okay but I was still getting even more acne, so I moved to 'Exposed Skincare'. The exposed skincare I got less acne but it was 60$ per shipment. With this when I used it, it worked immediately. I still got a bit of acne for the first week, but WAY less than when I was using any of those other products. I've been using for 2 weeks now and I'm acne free, now just have to wait for a few of my acne scares to go away. What you will get with this is 2 things: 1) Bar of soap - it's part of the treatment, not just regular soap. 2) Acne Scrub stuff I ran out of the bar of soap after 2 weeks, I bought 5 more because they're so awesome :P -- This has been way better than I expected. I thought this product looked kinda lame because it wasn't by a huge company and looked like it was made ou

Pros:

Toner feels good and helps skin tone for a couple minutes but doesnt help acne. Just as many breakouts, if not more. And I've been using it religiously.

Cons:

Didn't help acne at all, might even have made it worse. Lotion leaves skin looking shiny.

It's a waste of money if you have severe acne like me. No other problem has worked, even prescription medicines.

Pros:

This product WORKS!
IT WORKS, IT WORKS, IT WORKS!

Cons:

I have extremely sensitive skin, so I experienced dryness, itching, and peeling for the first 2-3 weeks. (It'll pay off)

I'm not easy to convince, and I've tried ALMOST EVERYTHING on the market, even Murad and Proactiv. They didn't work. TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, FOLLOW DAN'S REGIMEN, STEP-BY-STEP. (Pay attention to Dan's regimen tutorials) I MEAN IT, STEP-BY-STEP!!! BE CONSISTENT!!! Before you know it, you'll begin to see the results FAST, and have CLEARER to TOTALLY CLEAR SKIN!!! Just give it a try, that's all you can do. Then truthfully follow the step-by-step regimen.

Pros:

Extremely effective when used according to Dan's regime. My skin is completely clear after only two weeks use for the first time ever. Gel based.

Cons:

Normal side effects associated with BP. Peeling and itching. Only seems to come in a small tube.

I'm pretty sure it works comparably with any other 2.5% gel based BP product. Probably better to purchase a bulk product, like Dan's, rather than fork out for a more expensive product like this one. It does work though.

Pros:

It seems to clear alot of my acne but it does take time. For it to work you have to use it religiously.

Cons:

Skin tends to dry out pretty quickly. Sometimes makes area around eyes sensitive and tingle. Leaves white residue on your face so always follow with a moisturizer or use before bed. Does not clear acne scars either.

Its a pretty good product for the price, just make sure you start to gradually use the product. Moisturizer is the key and I'd try one like Vaseline hand lotion because it rids skins of scars and keeps skin hydrated.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
