Pros:

seems like it is actually clearing up my acne! Its been two weeks and the first week was bad, but its improved alot! The best my face has been in about a year!

Cons:

The lotion is very thick. This depends if you like that or not, I don't mind it. Others might.
Can be drying. I just use tons of my Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer.

I use the Severe system from AcneFree because my acne was nearing Severe .But its improving, which is the best Ive found a product do! Definitely try this!

Pros:

The bottle is huge. He ships fast. Free samples.

Cons:

Makes my skin MORE oily. The soap runs out fast. This product doesn't work

I'm 18 and I first started off with the formula for adult acne. I was convinced that this stuff would work from reading this guys feedback on eBay, but this stuff actually doesn't work. Well it doesn't work for me. I have used the adult formula for over a month, and right before I received the product, my skin cleared. But when I started using this stuff, boom! Another breakout! So I'm giving it 1 more shot, but this time I bought the industrial strength formula for teen acne. If it still doesn't work, NEGATIVE feedback for them.

Pros:

Well the toner does help even skin tone after zits go away if you use it a lot.

Cons:

It doesn't get rid of any zits, for the first few weeks or months of using it your skin gets irritated and red. Even after your skin gets used to it, the refining mask and lotion just make your skin dry. It doesn't help at all.

Don't try it unless it's a last resort, and even then your probably better off just waiting for the zits to go away by themselves.

Pros:

So left me say that this stuff if amazing if your ignore the directions. Don't buy the kit. Just buy the facewash and the Terminator cream.

Cons:

The repair lotiong and toner. Useless.

Use this stuff in the shower and scrub at your face for super exfoliation. Use it in the morning. Let your face dry and slather on the terminator cream. I have combination skin and have used everything over the conunter and several perscription. This stuff is the best. You have to rub the terminator cream in but it tightens skin and leaves it soft. You will probs need something else to control blackheads but buy this just for how soft your skin feels afterwords.

Pros:

Removed major zits quickly. easy to use and put on. didnt have a problem with staining clothing.

Cons:

the small discolored pimples on your face will not leave unless you use twice a day for a few months. its really intense for sensitive skin. The packin sucks it leaks and if it isn't closed correctly then it dries up and becomes useless.

its like taking steroids :D at first youll be amazed by how much your face has cleared up until slowly pimple start to pop up again and murder your face. Overall its amazing for a quick cleanup used regularly you will notice a difference but it wont be massive and wont get rid of everything. I dont recommend it to anyone because unless its Tuesday and you got a date the following Thursday it aint gonna do you much good because once that first week is over thats about all the important you will ever get.

Yesterday I bought Acne Solutions from Clinique and today I will begin using it for a month or 2 or perhaps 1 depending on my skin's reaction. I have a dry and sometimes oily skin due to combing my hair before my forehead's skin causing it to suffer because of not being able to hydrogen leading to small breakouts sometimes. I have a few blackheads and redness on my forehead and a bit along my face. Not much though, I'd just like to get rid of them. I will update to you as soon as my products are depleted. May it be positive, Clinque... may it be.

Pros:

Makes my skin really soft and non oily, cheap

Cons:

Right now its breaking me out horribly.

I have only been on this product for a week, but as of now the Kick *ss treatment is breaking me out terribly! I have bunch of little bumps all over my face that are just terrible. I dont know if its because i have stopped all of my other topical creams or what but as of now this is not working for me! But im thinking it just takes time...oh well.I really want it to work though,

Pros:

Dried up some of the acne

Cons:

Didn't prevent future acne, and the smell was really strong

If you don't have severe acne, this product won't work well for you

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
