Pros:

Works! This product does an amazing job at what it was made to do.

Cons:

Dries out your skin but for me it wasn't that bad but I guess for people with sensitive skin it could be worse.

Overall this is a kickass product and I highly recommended it because it does what its supposed to do.

Pros:

clears skin and keeps it that way!

Cons:

a little drying and when applying makeup u will get the flakies..

soooo worth it..and i find that using a gentle ALCOHOL FREE toner before applying this bp really really helps with the flakies...this bp and the oxy 10% bp wash are staples in my regimen...it blasts acne.. :)

Pros:

Really worked great for me! It almost did not dry my skin. Best solution so far after years of suffering acne.

Cons:

The "club" system is annoying. You run out of Repairing Lotion long before the cleanser, but you have to buy the whole kit. No moisturizing product in the 3-piece kit: you have to add a 4th product (and a 4th step) in your routine.

A little overpriced, but it's not the scam described by some. It may be THE solution for some like me who have tried a lot of things out of desperation. The most annoying thing by far is the buying club system. I suggest you get the 30-day trial before making your mind. Remember also that you have the right to use it only once a day, and the quantity you want. You have the right to delay a shipment or to ask for longer intervals between shipments, even if you have to struggle a little on the phone. On the other hand, the products are not available in detail in Quebec, as far as I know.

Pros:

-had a minty fresh feeling
-seemed to work first few washes
-may make eyes sensitive

Cons:

-destroyed my face

I used this product in combination with Clean and Clear Blackhead Scrub. I had mild to moderate acne and after a few washes things were looking bright. After a week and over the course of a weekend it completely destroyed my chin area (where I had no severe problems before) and cheeks. Watch out for little bumps appearing that will flame up. May work for some....not me :(

Pros:

Fab, dries pretty fast, WORKS (most importantly)

Cons:

Bleaches fabrics

Dan, I think I love you. I read a whole bunch of these reviews thinking they were faked by a large crew of underpaid workers in your basement or something but now, I believe. I bought this cheap (large) tube of BP off of your site on Sunday. It arrived Tuesday morning, although that's probably because I live literally a city away from your company. In any case, that night I excitedly applied the "finger" of lotion to my face and neck and waited for it to dry. I have to say that many of you are whiners- It doesn't take that long to dry. Really, now. It only takes about a minute. Then I applied moisturizer and went to sleep. I woke up and blammo! Insta-improvement. Face smoother. Proto-pimples stopped dead in their tracks. It was a dream come true. Mind you, I have moderate acne on my chin and cheeks and a little on the underside of my jaw. It's really helped. Just follow Supreme Leader Dan's regimen and you'll be alright.

Pros:

Does remove redness and make things smaller.

Cons:

Leaves scars, but maybe that's from me popping them. Also dries out your skin a lot, and I don't have sensitive skin.

Clears up spots pretty well.

Pros:

I had no pimples left in 3 days, Didnt dry my skin at all!

Cons:

It bleaches the cloth I use, but thats all!

Great product, worth your money and I would recommend it to everyone. When using the toner, dont use it with a cotton ball, for two reasons: One, All it does it soak it up and then you'll have to buy more quicker. And Two, for some people it peels. It pour a bit on your hands and smooth it on.

Pros:

face feels clean...was surprised first time I used it the next morning pimple visably smaller

Cons:

I've never had an ance problem before but im taking hormones for endometrosis and it really made my skin breakout.. I bought this hoping it will help... will see ;)

Pros:

Works really well. Honestly, this is the best product i've ever used. I get pimples every once in a while, but if I do, the repair lotion clears it up overnight. It's also cheap and easy to get.

Cons:

The texture varies. Sometimes I buy it and it is liquidy and has a stronger smell.

Try it! I have been testing out different products since 8th grade and NOTHING worked until this! If it doesn't do the job by itself, which I think it will, try drinking green tea, lemon juice, and a lot of water while using it!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
