Pros:

clears skin, I actually feel clean all day, it smells good, it actually works.

Cons:

it didn't clear all my acne

This is a good product it actually works and even though it didn't get rid of all my acne it got rid of most of it. it doesn't dry out my skin. It is the only product that i have used and actually does anything. It also is the only product that makes me feel clean all day and not for only a couple hours or so.

Pros:

First off it's animal cruelty free! Second they add no fragrance but it smells amazing because of all the good stuff they use. It is so much easier to use than many other products. I didn't know what clean skin was until I tried this.

Cons:

NONE!!!!!!!!!

I use the teen kick ass formula and it works better than the plethora of products I've used prior including pills and creams from the doctor. I use the bar soap on my entire body and have never had any problems. I still get a few breakouts but nothing has come close to working this well time after time. THEY DO HAVE A WEBSITE, [link removed]; you dont have to order from ebay if you don't want to.

Pros:

Works well for the first year or so.

Cons:

Rough on skin, drying, time consuming, and completely STOPS working after using it for a certain amount of time. Expensive.

This product worked well and I had flawless skin for about one year. Then suddenly I started breaking out along my chin, cheek, forehead, and nose. In cysts. The price is way too high for the amount of medication you get. Proactiv is a scam, bottom line.

Pros:

Makes me feel better that i'm cleaning my skin

Cons:

My face still gets oily and did not clear my face. I followed the instructions to the T and it still didn't work.

Use it only if you haven't tried anything else and make sure you get a good deal because it is expensive.

Pros:

none. this product is sh*t

Cons:

Made absoultely no difference in the condition of my skin. if any difference occured it was not at all benefical. Drys out skin. Your not getting a deal when they give you the extra "bonus" cleanser. It just forces you to buy another "value pack"BS

It sucks. You'll always have so much cleaser and not enough mostirizer or toner. It drys out skin. If you werent self conscience about your skin before, you will be once you use this product. the whole thing is bullsh*t. If you thought for two seconds you might want to give it a try. think again. please. save yourself the 20 dollars

Pros:

Will dry out small pimples virtually overnight

Cons:

This is personal experience, but I used this product once a day for a week and my face started getting red patches and skin started severely peeling and itching. Reduced application to once every other day but still no change, extreme dryness.

When I used this product on my skin it didn't agree with me, but that not saying it doesn't work. I think I'm just sensitive to high doses of benzoyl peroxide because even when using a moisturizer it didn't help with the redness and itching. I reduced usage to just being a spot treatment but still the redness and irritation continued, switched to a 2.5% bp treatment and that worked for me. So if you're not sensitive to the product it may work for you, but if you start getting redness and severe peeling I would discontinue usage because you may be sensitive to the product. I guess you never really know until you try.

Pros:

I had mild acne on my cheek and forhead. I put a very thin layer of the clear zit cream directly on the problem arears of my face the night before I go to bed. When I get up in the morning the acne is dried up but not completely gone.

Cons:

It does burn a little, and dry out your skin. I use a moisturizer to help with the drying out.

For me this product really works. I can't tell you not buy this product or to buy it. It depends on your skin and allergic reactions as with any product. As with any other product you should test this product on a small affected area before using it fully.Best part of thisproduct is that it is very affordable.

Pros:

Very affordable for the amount of product, and it works!! Toss the other products in your medicine cabinet...the solution is Carley's.

Cons:

Because the treament BP you just need to be careful about bleaching towels and washcloths..or just buy white so it will not matter.

I'm 32 years old and have had always that off and on acne. Some days my skin would look decent and other days I wouldn't want to even walk out of the house because I thought I looked "ugly". I've spent hundreds on high-end treatments, prescriptions and drugstore brands over the years, but nothing works like Carley's. This stuff is amazing and consistent. Wash with the soap, then wash with the exfoliator (be gentle though) and then wash again with the soap and you are done. I also use the anti-aging night cream which is fantastic. I've been using Carley's for about 3 months now and I am consistently clear and my skin is starting to have a glow to it that I haven't seen in a very long time...without any makeup! I love also that it is a natural, safe product and you are not adding toxins or potentially harmful chemicals into your system. It makes me feel good knowing I am using a safe product. Carley's is fantastic and I will be ordering for years to come!

Pros:

contains Benzoyl Peroxide which helps blemishes and breakouts

Cons:

unfortunately this contains 10% benzoyl peroxide that is the most anybody can use for medication without actually burning your skin off literally!

Will cause burning and itching because it contains so much benzoyl peroxide but if u have cysts, severe acne than use it but if u have mild, moderate acne than this is not for u.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
