Pros:

Affordable, Gentle, IT WORKS

Cons:

Only con is I have to get it shipped from America - but well worth it

This is fabulous stuff, the range of products are fantastic. I first purchased 10 years ago and used for a few years, now I have not found anything near as good since, and so I am back and will look nowhere else. Thank you so much for the extra free samples too - it means I can 'try' something out and order it next time with confidence. It lasts a long time too, so getting it sent worldwide soon pays for itself. I have put several friends onto it over the years too and I will be sticking with it!

Pros:

I guess it's cheaper than any other acne product out there.

Cons:

Face is dried right after useage. My face became itchy and had red bumps after the fourth day.

So I've been using this for a few days .. For the first three days it felt like this product was really working, since I didn't have any breakouts, which was a plus. It made me think that this was the perfect product for me, since it's cheap, and I don't have future breakouts. Then the fourth day hits, maybe it's just me, but I got an allergic reaction, that's what I'm assuming. My face is so itchy and has all these little red bumps ..

Pros:

Seems to brighten skin. Reduced break-outs, recudes the healing time acne. My skin is oily, so I don't find it drying like others. It's very nice, just remember to use it regularly.

Cons:

Kinda expensive, but it works. 70 CDN for the three step (full size) kit.

It's good, just know that it is a strong solution and it will take a few weeks for a true result.

Pros:

I started ordering this when I saw a girl's beautiful skin and asked what she used. If I allow myself to run out of the scrub, I always get a break-out. So, I try not to run out now. I'm 54 years old and I really like your stuff!

Pros:

Clears up your face pretty much within the first wash. Keeps zits away.

Cons:

Makes your skin very dry and flakey. But moisturizer solves this problem 100%

This stuff works 99% of the time and works GOOD. I would suggest it from mild to severe

Pros:

I have been suffering from acne since I was 12. I have severe cycstic acne. I have also been a licensed Medical Facial Tech for over ten years. In all of my experience nothing not even the extreme tlaser treatments have workes as well as this stuf

Cons:

The only bad thing I could possibly think of is that I didn't find it sooner!

When I started using carleys I was skeptical. Being in the skin care indistry I have used litterally every products out there. None of them worked and most of them left my skin ichy red and sometimes burned with swollen eye lids. So I lathered up the natural soap and was impressed at how soft and clean my skin was without feeling tight. The treatment felt like most scrubs with the exception of this one not stingning. The next day I noticed my skin looking better, with a glow. Within 4 days all of my current acne was gone and to my amazment I had not gotten another zit in four days! As I continued with the line my skin got better and better all of the little bumps went away and the zits I did get were smaller and went away fast. Now, 4 months later my skin is clear and smooth and glowing. I don't even wear make up all the time! 4 months ago I had acne, now I finally at 29 have pretty clear skin! I also love their foundation.I will never use another line on my skin this is it!

Pros:

I have moderate acne, I have bee using this product for 3 weeks and 4 days now. and my acne is almost ccompletely gone. I have 2 bumps on my right cheek, that are amost gone too. I just started the whole finger length of Bp, and Im so happy

Cons:

Dries skin out when you first start using it, but when your face gets used to it, it is fine. there is nothing bad about this product. my acne is almost completely gone

please try this, I have suffered from acne for years, and now, 20yrs old, have finally found something that works, I have tried all of the acne brands out now, and this is the only thing that has worked. I use bp with cetaphil daily facial wash for normal to oily skin. and I mosturize with palmers virgin olive oil lotion. Bp works, just be patient!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Dryness
Doesn't work

After reading other reviews about this product, I was REALLY disappointed when it didn't do a single thing for me except for dry out my skin. If anything, I think it made my acne worse. :(
October 10, 2009

Pros:

using it on a single zit might help a little

Cons:

applying to skin will give you extreme redness, and possible cause a major breakout

Avoid this product for multiple reasons. -if you have severe acne like me then it will most likely only make things worse -if you have light acne then it will likely give you more bottom line, don't use

Best thing, your gonna find to clear up your fast, and clear it up fast.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
