Pros:

Simply cleared my whole face after about a week of use.

Cons:

Made skin horrible for a week.
Expensive.
Made my skin more oily.

After about a week of using I woke up one morning and my acne was pretty much gone. But the first week made the acne 10x worse then it was before. I probably would not buy again and just get a cheaper cleanser and BP.

Didn't work! When you cancel they keep charging your credit card!

Don't waste your money! I say it cost 25 dollars but their still charging me not that I'm gonna pay it! Now I have to dispute it on my credit card.

Cons:

Is that swollen.. yes!!!
Redddd face!
Hurts to smile and put water on my face

I only used this product one day and three days later I STILL feel like I have a severe sunburn on my face. I have cried because of how stupid I look and how painful it is. I feel like a fish and my face is raw and swollen, and I have take accutane so I'm a trooper when it comes to side effects.. THIS SUCKS! I realllly want my money back, I don't know if I can though, what a waste

Pros:

the toner worked wonders but I have a feeling any $5 toner would work just as well, black heads on my nose were removed.

Cons:

Dries out you're face and you're fingers. cleanser doesn't penetrate as deeply as other cheap washes and it's very unforgiving

when my skin dries out it over produces oils leaving me with even worse acne than before. after only a few days I was covered in a massive hoard of big gnarly white heads after quitting it my face went back to normal which meant only a few little bumps hear and there. the one thing i did notice though was that while using it the black heads on my nose were gone (its practically a miracle) in the end I switched to using the noxzema facial wash (its amazing) and using only the toner and lotion from the kit... the spot treatment that was included with the pack i bought was what lead to my lack of black heads and i love it. all in all i say no to the system but the spot treatment is nice (clean and clear works better though) not worth all you're money

Pros:

It's really easy to use, feels nice, clears most of my acne and improves my skin texture. Before I started using the treatment, underneath the acne I had thin-feeling, coarse and very dry skin that often felt chapped, and that's gone, I'm all smooth and softer now. I use the exotic butter moisturizer as both day- and night-cream and like it very much. The natural soap is also great and feels very soft on my sensitive, dry skin.

Cons:

Since I live in Sweden the shipping in itself costs about as much as the products, which stings a bit. Otherwise I have nothing bad to say about it.

I think this is a great product that works really well for me, and I appreciate that there is no focus on unneccessary stuff like fancy bottles. Before I started using this I had light/moderate acne with occasional ugly outbreaks - nowadays I just get a few small spots around the time of my period, which is an enormous improvement. I would recommend anyone a try.

Pros:

Not sure if there are any besides Clinique has a good return policy.

Cons:

Expensive, too harsh, and made my blemishes worse. This is supposed to be for any skin type but mine is sensitive and it was not good.

Quit using it and swtiched to Olay foaming face wash for sensitive skin, 50/50 solution cider vinegar for exfoliant, and BP for spot treatment. My skin is getting better but there is an aftermath. I still use Clinique's moisturizing gel but am looking for something else. I would not recommend clinique. This is the 2nd skincare line I have tried and the longer I used, the worse my skin became.

Pros:

None really

Cons:

Very drying, it burns WAY bad, leaves you itchy and it smells really weird

I've been using it for four or five days now and I don't like it at all. The worse part is there "pH balancing" lotion with Salicylic Acid, it burns my face really bad and leaves my face looking like I have a bad sun burn for up to an hour after I've put it on. The results, I have more acne then I did before I bought it. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
