Pros:

-minimizes pimples - more compliments
-minimizes acne scars
- works pretty fast

Cons:

-the smell is too strong
- many applications are required to see results
-you shouldnt stop using it even for a day

I thought i might give it a shot after all of the other spot treatments i have tried in the past. After a few weeks i started to notice that my existing pimples were smaller and less red. I also noticed that my acne scars started to fade. After i started using tea tree oil i started getting compliments on my skin and my mom would tell me that it is really working. Although it doesnt work as fast as benzoyl peroxide, it has no side effects un like benzoyl peroxide.

Pros:

This stuff works on the big ones!

Cons:

It is VERY drying and must be diluted; application can be kind of a pain but is worth it.

I dip a q-tip in my desert essence 100% Australian tea tree oil, then squeeze drops of the oil onto a moistened cotton ball and apply all over my face. Then I take the q-tip and apply pure, undiluted oil to individual pimples. Has shrunken two huge cysts within about 3 days, but oddly enough is not working as quickly on smaller pimples. Contrary to others, I love the smell (it's herbally and very refreshing) and I like the tingle I get when this stuff is applied. Good stuff, and natural! Better than applying harsh chemicals to your face.

works well but dont waste your money on the cleansers and toners and moistureizers etc... just buy the one from the body shop (15%) and dab it on randomyl during the day.

Pros:

Natural, powerful whiteheads and blackheads loose from the skin, refreshing, leaves the complex smooth and helps heal acne and doesnt irrate. A few drops in a facail

Cons:

be careful and dont load it on as it will sting & make your skin red in places.Just use sparingly as it is powerful stuff and too much will only irritate your skin and lead to further break outs as i have experienced!

A drop added in facial sauna is great and really cleans out the pores and gives your skin a healthy glow. Also a little drop added in with your facail wash really helps and makes your skin feel very clean and refreshed. This stuff really helps and works deep in the pores it will bring the whitehead to the top but after a few days it will be gone and leads to more clean, clear skin patience and time is needed as it will take at least a couple of months for it to clean out your pores and if you stick to a strict regime everyday you will notice good results! Also eating healthy and drinking plenty of water and getting enough fresh air and excerise will help alot doing this will help with whats going on in the inside and helps heal acne faster! hope this helps and good luck to all and give TTO a go it really helps.

Pros:

inexpensive, can be used for multiple things

Cons:

tastes terrible, a little stinky

I used it for a fever blister and noticed that the area where it got smeared under my lip was very clear and even colored. It worked great on the fever blister. It was the only thing that gave me relief. (have to continue to reapply) I also used it when my son got stung by a jellyfish.

Nice little addition to a toner or personal regimen

Pros:

Dries up small spots

Cons:

Smells strong

This is a pretty good product that will help aid in drying up any small existing spots you have. Just don't overdo it or you might find it to irritating.

Pros:

Clears acne with repeated application
Significantly reduces inflammation
Decreases visibility of scars

Tea tree oil is a fantastic product. Personally, it has not cleared up my acne, but if used as a spot treatment repetitively throughout the day the pimples diminish very quickly. My greatest success is with my redness and minor scaring. I applied tea tree oil to my splotchy red patches of skin and it reduced the inflamation like a charm! I had to keep using it for about a month for noticeable results, but It was well worth it. Now my face is no longer red nor are my minor scars visible. Awesome!

Pros:

natural
opens sinus's
dries out pimples fast

Cons:

gets worse before it gets better

I am in my second week of using tea tree oil and it seems to be improving my face. My method is using a cotton ball to apply the oil. Make sure you get a good amount on there (it should feel wet when going on your face). I leave it on for the rest of the day (do not use a moisturizer or your face could be super oily). I have gotten some of the worse acne I've had in years since starting this, but they are drying up quickly.
