Pros:

- Clears skin in about 2 months.
- Dries out pimples QUICKLY. (My pimples go away/get smaller in about 2 days)
- Pores are smaller in size.
- If you're in Canada, you can get something like 3 tubes free if you get a prescription from your doctor.

Cons:

- Gotta use 3 pumps/squeezes of cream to get rid of flakyness.
- Burns when you use it.
- Smells funky. (To me)
- Makes my skin oily. (Because I put lots of cream on after)
- Terribly uncomfortable.

People stop complaining about things like flaky skin and more active acne, that's what this stuff does. It sheds of the layers of your skin to reveal acne. So, it does work. Just suck it up. Bottom line is, this stuff works. You gotta keep using it though.

Pros:

- has made skin less oily
-is slowly removing blackheads
- overall clearing by skin, haven't had a breakout since I started using it

Cons:

- may cause some redness, flaking/peeling of your skin as it exfoliates, I use an oil free mosturizer with SPF 15 in the morning

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS , I did not get results until I read the instructions and used it properly, the main points are that you have to wash your face and let it dry completley for about 10 minutes, do not put on any other moisturizer , wash your hands, apply a THIN layer to your face (more is not better), avoid eye area and around lips, then wash your hands again. Brush and floss your teeth before you put it on because it creates a tight mask like effect on your face. Wash with a gentle cleanser in the morning. Do not use with many other acne products at the same time, example scrubs , masks, etc, unless your doctor told you to because it will likely dry your skin out alot. While using this gel, I always used a night cream around my eyes because the skin is so delicate. Also, be careful not to get it on or around your mouth because it tastes bad and if you swallow alot of it you may get an upset stomach. The trick with this stuff, is patience I think, the results are not insta

Pros:

Eventually fades scar marks
Gets rid of acne
Helps the skin to regenerate (The Tretinoin does this, derived from Vitamin A)

Cons:

The gel is worn at night, becomes a peel-y flakey tight mask, so put it on after you brush your teeth.

Makes acne worse initially, for up to 8 weeks or so as it brings all the crud in the pores to the surface

It takes time to work, I've been on it for about 3 months and I'm just now seeing the last of my red marks fading

Worth a try, especially because the price is right. How much have we all spent on tubes of lotions and gels from the pharmacy only to have wasted $$$. Even though it gets worse first, It's not the end of the world, drink lots of water, keep your face (and hands clean), eat nutritiously and it will heal up. At this point I only use it 4-5 times a week, due to the speed at which it regenerates my skin. I find myself needing to really exfoliate to keep my skin from looking dull and do use eye cream at night around my under eye area. I still do wash my face with Clearasil cream or PanOxyl bar soap, alternating and I use a non comedogenic cream during the day. I like Kiss My Face Peaches and Cream, which has AHA 4% in it, also helping your skin to regenerate.

Pros:

It makes skin feel smoother
Drys out the pimples
Can use it on face and body
Turns over new skin cells so it repairs your skin

Cons:

Leaves red marks sometimes but they go away with regular use of the gel
may make skin red where you use it
Over use will burn

It seems to work. I've been using it for about 2 years now. you need to use it consistently and I recommend the regular. the mild didn't do as much for me. pair it with spectro jel because it is pretty strong and Spectro is a gentle cleanser.

Pros:

Clears away acne. Easy to apply. Dries quickly! Smooths and evens out skin.

Cons:

Causes more breakouts initially. Dries skin and can cause it to peel. Take a LONG time to work.

Patience is needed with this stuff, but slowly and surely it starts working and clears away the acne. I'm expecting my acne to be completely gone in a couple more weeks!

Pros:

- makes cysts less: inflamed, painful, and severe
- no whiteheads/minor pimples
- makes cysts and other pimples clear up very quickly
- can go for several days to a week without any active pimples...skin is clear during these periods :)
- fades scars over time

Cons:

- doesn't completely eradicate acne
- takes a couple months to see full results
- slight redness
- slight dryness; nothing major, can be solved with moisturizer
- can cause irritation if used around the eyes

i have been using this for 3 months and have definitely seen an improvement in my moderate cystic acne. my cysts are less painful and inflamed, and they go away really quickly!! a cyst used to run it's course on my face for a full week but stieva clears them right up in 2-3 days. i also go through constant periods of several days to a week when i do not have ANY active pimples on my face!! this is a record for me because i tend to have at least 2-3 active pimples all of the time. even though stieva doesn't completely stop break outs from happening, the gaps between them when my skin is clear are awesome. it also helps to fade red marks, which i'm very happy about because i have a lot of these scars. it takes about a month or more to begin to see results and for your skin to get accustomed to it. there is some dryness/redness in the beginning, which does improve quickly. it does persist somewhat, but all you need to counteract it is a good moisturizer. overall, i am satisfied with stieva so far and will continue to use it. it is not a complete cure, but my skin looks the best it has in years thanks to stieva! i have tried minocycline, differin, and BP and stieva has given me better results than all of them combined. although it's not a total cure, the results i've gotten are worth it since there are no serious side effects. i have considered using Accutane or some type of birth control pill, but i am afraid of the side effects and the potential damage they may cause. i am sticking with stieva for now because i love that it only affects my face, not my entire body like a pill would! i recommend stieva for anyone with moderate acne, because you will see a great improvement. and for those with mild acne, it may be able to clear you right up! i recommend :) i give it 4 stars because 5 stars would have to be a miracle cure.

Pros:

-Definate improvement by 2 months period
-Makes skin soft
-Night application makes it easy
-It's free with some insurance

Cons:

-Must wait for about 2 months to see real improvement
-Initial breakout (wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though)

Ok guys. I've had acne since I was 11 and I can safely say that I've tried everything BUT accutane. I was somewhat skeptical about this product since I've tried so many things but you know what? I think patience is all you need with this product. Don't get me wrong here. I'm not flawless or anything yet, but this product cleared my acne up by about...85-90%. Now I'm just waiting for my scars to go away. As of now, I've been using this for about 2 months and if you pretend my scars don't exist, then my fact would be almost completely clear!. Oh about the initial breakout, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was a couple weeks of more acne, but it wasn't a huge difference. Please try this guys.

Pros:

Clears acne quickly
Keeps acne away

Cons:

Expensive... however my prescription was free with health insurance.
Dry skin

This is a great product. Stievamycin didn't get rid of my acne entirely, but it certainly helped to keep it to a minimum. It causes your face to feel very tight and dry in the beginning, but your skin should begin to adapt to it and it contains ingredients that help fade scars as well.

Pros:

-No new acne since starting
-Areas that have peeled already look amazing
-Blackheads are visibly disappearing
-Cheap price
-More even skin tone

Cons:

-The smell burns the nose and eyes while applying it
-Skin peels, but you can ex-foliate all of the dead skin away in the morning

If you have health insurance, go for this product. It's worth a try, and I'm so happy with my results so far!

Pros:

my skin is no longer oily,
my face has cleared up

Cons:

your face feels like its getting tighter,
and sometimes a slight bit of discomfort.
but its not unbarable, its not even bad

every kinda of medication or gels/cream will probably have a side effect, tighting and the occasional burning last no more then 20-30 seconds, you skin feels better overall. its a great product
