Pros:

Made acne smaller, and skin feels smoother

Cons:

skin dried, peeled, and left bad dark spots

Don't use if you don't want dark spots. The only impovement is makes bumps smaller, but it looks much worse than it is. The dark spots are hard to cover up. Hoping they don't scar and go away

Pros:

improved acne at first
Made skin look more even toned
Softer skin
lightened scaring.

Cons:

after 8 months my skin has went from moderate-severe to moderate. I thought for almost a year my skin would be almost to completely cleared up seeing as the package says only 4-12 weeks.
I still have large spots of acne.
IN THE FIRST WEEK-TWO WEEKS YOU WILL SEE PEELING. DO NOT TRY TO COVERUP PEELING. IT WILL MAKE IT RED AND BURN.

IT ONLY STINGS IF YOU: A.Put to much on one spot. B.Put it on a sunburn. C.Put the cream/gel on an open pimple. After 8 months I decided to not waste any more time so now I am on a much stronger ance cream.

Cons:

I had some acne on my back and my doctor prescribed a stronger gel. I burned, left some scabs where the spots were and left darker spots. I then began to have an allergic reaction, and after i had cleared up my rash, i had no more acne....

Burns, not for everyone, but works

I was prescribed this for my moderate comedones. I had been using it for 1 year in hopes of clearing my acne. I can see good result after 3 months in combination with other medicines. I thought its my micracle. But after that, lost its effect and my face now becomes more severe of comedones which cover my entire face when last time not as this severe. I think its just for short term solution since it contains antibiotic which is harmful to our skin and body. Im now applying differin which is making my face red and 1 month on it without improvement. I feel hopeless.

Pros:

None that I can think of.

Cons:

It is a horrible topical medicine that caused my skin to cone off in chunks. I used the mild for 6 months and it was okay, but very, very drying. And then it totally stopped working.

I switched to the regular formula when the mild stopped working completly, although it didn't really work to begin with. It burned my skin right off. It was red and raw and made what zits were on my chin bleed. I cried for 3 hours. Went to another dermatologist, he told me this is the worst topical medicine and switched me to Benzamycin. I have read better things about the Benzamycin, so I am hoping for the best with this one. But I would have to caution anyone using Stievamycin to be very careful. Truthfully, it burns and it does not work.
