Pros:

clears acne fast

Cons:

leaves skin dry and itchy only after a few uses even if you use a moisturizer afterwards.

I wrote a review on this after the 1st use and it was positive. But after a few uses my skin got very dry and itchy so I had to go back and write a negative review. I'm surprised that it made my skin dry because it was semi-oily esspecially on the nose. Even if you do have oily skin it will dry you out in only like 3 days.

Pros:

reduced the size of acne

Cons:

smelled bad
bad bottle
gave me a strange bumpy rash

The very first time I tried this i thought it was fantastic! The night (2nd try) i used it, my skin started drying out a bit, i put on moisturizer thinking no big deal, the next morning i woke up with a strange bumpy , red , rash that was very irritated. i tried to continue putting moisuterizer on it, it didn't even get hydrated at all, and i knew at that point i couldn't continue to use the product. Then again, if i were you, give it try, may work for you. It didn't for me, I also have sensitive skin so that may be apart of the result.

Pros:

Cleans face
reduces red acne..down to little bumps at least

Cons:

Not good for oily skin..PERIOD
doesnt remove acne but makes it less noticable
Drying for my cheeks
Weird feeling on my face.

Im in my teens and after trying several neutrogena products, I have found that this is definately a big fat NO. This makes my combination skin more oily which is quite embarassing (T-zone only), dries my cheeks because it is too harsh, and it feels like a roller of wax just went over my face after washing with this. It doesn't give that clean feeling but was successful in removing my stubborn makeup so I guess it does clean? On the bright side, it made a red bump reduce to a skin colored littler bump but wasnt successful enough to completely clear it up. Everyone, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

Pros:

Made my face feel clean

Cons:

Isn't effective
Broke me out worse than any other cleanser I've used
Runny

I've used both the original and the Redness Reducing version (the one in the green bottle) The original held no merit for me. It didn't clear my skin and I didn't enjoy using it at all. I didn't like the smell or the consistency of it, so I stopped using it after about a week. (This was a few years back, mind you) About a month and a half ago I was looking for a new cleanser (I had stopped trying to take care of my acne for years, and had just started up again) and I decided to pick up the Redness Reducing version of this cleanser, since I have fair skin with redness on my cheeks and chin. I loved the smell, the consistency wasn't too bad for me this time, and I liked how clean my face felt afterward. I happily used it for about a week until I noticed that my skin was getting /worse/. I shrugged it off, thinking that this is just how most cleansers work. Your skin has to get used to it first. Another week went by and my face was slowly getting worse and worse. I unhappily thew it away, sad that I couldn't use it any longer.
