A moisturizer that I actually like and continue to use!
I received a free travel kit with my purchase of the AHA+. I wasn't a fan of the BP treatment, but I really like the moisturizer. I have very oily skin, but I know that I still need to moisturize, especially since I'm using a BP treatment (Proactive +) and the AHA+. For me, this moisturizer is the perfect balance between light moisture and too much moisture. It's goes on smooth and my skin absorbs it very quickly. It also has a nice calming effect on my skin. I also like the fact that is doesn't really have a smell. I like to use just the moisturizer in the morning. At night before bed, I mix in a little of the AHA+ with the moisturizer. Works wonders! I'm almost out of the free travel size, so I'll be buying a 16oz bottle of this stuff.

Light..

Pros:

Very light, sinks into the skin very well

Cons:

Might not work for very dry skin but try...

A very light moisturiser perfect for oily skin. I love the smell and you will do too if you like the smell of olive oil. However I have overused the BP and both the moisturiser and the jojoba oil don't seem to help my current overly dry skin. Beware! BP is very strong and although I thought I had tried everything and my skin was going to be bullet proof :-) .. Well BP has dried out my skin big time. I am desperate now as I am 36 and I ended up with deep wrinkles around my mouth. Phew!! My fault for over using the BP. I shall continue to use the moisturiser after my skin has calmed down.

Pros:

-Light
-It is absorbed nicely
-Keeps skin from flaking throughout whole day
-Works even when my skin is exposed to freezing temperatures

Cons:

-Stains white clothes
-Sometimes burns upon application (but may just be
my very sensitive skin)
-Expensive

More effective in keeping my face from flaking than Cetaphil and Cerave.

Pros:

Doesn't clog pores
No shine or greasy feeling

Cons:

Need several applications for flakiness

I stayed away from this because of all the negative reviews and than finally decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I have been on the hunt for a moisturizer for years. I have very oily skin and usually a few hours after applying any moisturizer I'm greasy. This one doesn't make me greasy at all and no shine! This a great moisturizer for anyone who has very oily skin. I gave it 4 stars because you need several applications for flakiness.

Pros:

doesnt sting
works with the regiment much better than the old moisturizer
calms skin
tints skin
tightens skin

Cons:

creates flakes and itchiness after 7 hours

love this so much more than the old moisturizer-- but it needs to be more moisturizing and it would be perfect

Pros:

Moisturize's skin very well, makes skin fell very smooth, and helps with flakes!

Cons:

a little irritating for first few times (my skin is very sensitive) but your skin gets used to it and it feels nice. I still get flaky from time to time but its winter and very dry around here.

This is a great moisturizer! If your using Dan's regimen this is crucial! It really makes all the difference.

Pros:

Soothing
Moisturizing

Cons:

Can ball up
Leaves my skin slightly greasy with 2 full pumps

I like this moisturizer, but it is slightly bothersome that it can sometimes ball up and peel off later in the day. I find that 2 full pumps leaves my skin greasy, so I usually use around a pump and a half. I will continue to use this moisturizer until Acne.org reformulates it to get rid of the idiosyncrasies!

Pros:

No petrolatum, no mineral oil, not greasy. Absorbed quickly, no heavy feel. Didn't sting.

Cons:

none so far, I just started using this moisturizer today.

Actually, this is my 2nd try. I tried the old formula a couple of years ago and it stung. I was using Differin and the moisturizers I was using (Clinique DDM Gel and Olay Sensitive) was stinging so I tried this one because I was trying to stay away from all that petrolatum and mineral oil based moisturizer. Like I said, it stung. Good thing I only bought the trial size. I decided to use Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream in the tube. No choice, only one that doesn't sting. But it causes those tiny white bumps in the corners of my lower lip. The ones when you squeeze, the white heads come out. i also used Jojoba Oil as moisturizer, applied it while skin ws damp. But not moisturizing enough. Today, no burning sensation so far. Im almost done with my last Differin and Im switching to AHA +. One thing I did, To limit friction: I don't rub the towel to dry my face. When I apply any type of cream (moisturizer, treatment, sunblock), I smear it on, no pressure, no rubbing, No massaging. I will update this review every week
