Slather it on!
I've learned a lot about skin in the last few years (thanks, college!) and the key to moisturizing your epidermis is to slather on the lotion love. Try this: next time you apply sunscreen, smear it all over your face. Be messy. Wait 15 minutes and see how much your skin has absorbed. It's like we're sponges! So be generous with acne.org's moisturizer, too. I've used the regimen for 3-4 years and couldn't be more positive in my recommendation. This moisturizer won't leave you oily (I have combination skin); you will have a dewy sensation though. If you have particularly oily skin, expect this moisturizer to keep you balanced. I notice my oily spots (T-zone) are apparent mid-day, but this is normal for me and not associated with subsequent breakouts as it was before the regimen. If you have the same problem, simply blot with tissue or blotting paper. If you wear make-up, be sure you are not adding to the problem! Find powders, foundation, etc., products with jojoba oil and little to no petroleum or other types of oils. JOJOBA FOR THE WIN!

Pros:

Lightweight
drys quickly
no odor
very hydrating

Cons:

When you use the product correctly there isn't anything negative to say!

I've had acne since I was a teenager and now well into adulthood I was desperate and given up the search to find something that would work for me. I've tried ProActive, Murid, Skin Id, nothing worked. I reluctantly decided to try the Regiman and at first nothing changed but I stuck to it and now I have BEAUTIFUL SKIN! The other day someone actually complimented me on how clear my skin looks...I was shocked! You know it works when other people notice!! I'm not one to write review but if you've given up hope I challenge you to try this product you will not be disappointed.

Pros:

Very moisturizing, incredibly soothing, pleasant smell, no watery/oily finish

Cons:

A little thicker, which really is a Pro for me

This new moisturizer may be a little less moisturizing than the last, but if used with two full pumps, as Dan suggested, works great. The previous moisturizer left me red, oily(enough that the excess was blotted off by me using a brown paper towel(which works well)), sticky, and even felt a little irritated. This New Moisturizer does none of the above. It does not feel like there is any product, either drying BP or oily moisturizer, on my face whatsoever. I must stress the calming aspect, which makes my skin not only look and keep clear, but healthy and radiant. I cannot recommend this enough. It makes my skin calm and really moisturized, not secretly dry and flaky under a film of red grease. In my opinion, the broken leg of the Regimen used to be the third step. This new product, I consider, is Dan's masterpiece. Thank you Dan

Tried it today for the first time
I got the "travel size"kit to try out. I don't have acne really, I am prone to clogged pores. I tried the cleanser and moisturizer for the first time today and I can tell Im going to like it. It's yellow because the ingredient Licochalcone is a licorace derivative that helps to fade dark marks. I have melasma and this ingredient is pretty hard to find in Canada, especially in a concentration you can see. I don't know what everyone else is talking about it when they describe it as "greasy". I think a lot of the more popular moisturizers such as Cerave and cetaphil are terribly greasy and pore clogging. I think I am going to love this stuff. I always do best with the stuff most don't.

Pros:

No Burning
No Flakiness
Will Not Break You Out
Makes Skin Soft
Less Redness

Cons:

Takes A While To Dry I Guess
Doesn't Work For Several People

I started Master Dans final regime with his sacred products about 4 weeks ago. I bought the cleanser and the treatment but decided to use other moisturizers since Dans new moisturizer was rated low by a vast amount of critics. The cleanser and treatment wreaked havoc on my acne. I was only trying to reduce my acne to just one or two bumps but it was unmerciful. I want my acne back because I'm so used to it. Anywho, about 1 weeks into the final regime I was skeptical about the CeraVa moisturizer I was using, and after watching Master Dans video on why the new moisturizer is superior to the old on I decided to give this (Dan crafted) cream a try. I started to break out again during week twoish. Then I got my new moisturizer. I was expecting it to not moisturize enough. I used two pumps of everything (cleanser, treatment, and moisturizer). To my surprise Dans moisturizer was very moisturizing. Also it made my skin a lot softer and less red. I was very angry that it worked because so many people hate it? As long as you follow Dans guidelines to the letter then i don't understand why it wouldn't work. To all the you critics who were negatively impacted by this product, rethink what you're doing. Are you waiting until the treatment FULLY dries before moisturizing. Have you giving your skin time to get use to the new moisturizer (I didn't have to though). Are you going out into the sun for too long? Are you itching your face? Are you this thickly applying it and letting it air dry? In conclusion I'd like to say that I've suffered from Acne for a long time. If you are suffering from it and want advice, support, or just someone to talk to give shoot me an email at overseerjames@[link removed] I will not judge you and I know what it feels like to have tried everything. By the way, I'm a 17 year old male with hormonal acne from high testosterone and very oily skin if anyone was interested.

I love this new formula! Don't ever change it back to the old formula. I hated the old one because it is very heavy feeling and sticky.

Pros:

+ Leaves no nasty residue or shine
+ Nice consistency
+ If you use 2-3 pumps, gets rid of flakes & dryness
+ No redness/sting

Cons:

- You need to use 2-3 pumps to get benefit
- Takes 5-10 minutes to absorb

I absolutely HATED the old DK moisturizer. It was tacky and nasty and never fully absorbed, leaving a gross shine on my face all day. However, Dan's new moisturizer is AWESOME! The formula is smooth and comfortable to apply and it absorbs fully, leaving no nasty residue or shine. As long as you use a good 2-3 pumps it beats the flakes and dryness. I don't even need to use jojoba with it. Love the new moisturizer, thanks Dan!

Excellent moisturizer

Pros:

This moisturizer feels good on the skin. It is light, so it doesn't feel heavy on your face. It is not shiny or greasy, and gives your skin a good color or glow.
Nice feel, nice look. Definitely will NOT break you out.
Lightweight and soothing to the skin.

Cons:

Sometimes in the

I'm updating my previous review. This is the best moisturizer on the market, bar none. And despite what some other grumpy reviewers say, it far superior to Dan's old moisturizer (which was last available three years ago, so give it up already). The licorice root extract found in this product is very calming and soothing to the skin. The moisturizer goes on light and when it dries you quickly forget you have anything on your very face. It's very moisturizing and soothing. In the dead of winter, I find that occasionally I still have flakes, so sometimes I mix this at night with jojoba oil. That solves the problem. Also, if you think this leaves a shine, just do what you should do with all moisturizing products. Twenty minutes after application, gently pat your face with a paper towel. Shiny look gone. I get angered by a few of the poor reviews here, because this is truly an amazing product. Try it.

Pros:

-Lightweight
-Soothing/Calming
-Non-Irritating
-Very Hydrating

Cons:

Mild Scent

Before this I was using Cetaphil's moisturizer and although it hydrated my skin fairly well, it always felt thick and It made my skin feel tight and stiff after using it. Besides the fact that it always stung and burned after I applied after the BP. Dan's new moisturizer is amazing! It is lightweight and very hydrating, doesn't sting or burn, and doesn't make my face feel tight or stiff, but rather soft, smooth, and normal. The smell is very mild and I can't really even notice it. I am careful when applying it so as to not get it on my clothes since I have read that the yellow tint of this product can stain clothing. I couldn't be happier with this product! By far the best moisturizer I've used. Way to go Dan, you're awesome!
