Pros:

....NONE

Cons:

-makes face super red
-makes face oil a bunch
-makes face break out with random underground cysts
-doesn't moisturize at all

I LOVED the old moisturizer. I still have some left so after trying out the new moisturizer for awhile and breaking out, I tried going back to the old moisturizer and my face cleared right back up. Bring the old moisturizer back pleeeeease

Pros:

Better than nothing

Cons:

Leaves skin flaky and shiny. Maybe this works in humid climates such as San Fran but in the north it doesn't have nearly the needed moisturizing power.
Now I have to go start trying other moisturizers.

Should have left the original formula alone. This is by far the most garbage moisturizer I have ever used. If I wanted licochalcone I would have bought the AHA which is good for spot treatment. Dan, bring back the old formula

Pros:

No harsh ingredients, and it does not react with benzoil peroxide.

Cons:

Does not moisturize at all. I have tried adding up to 10 drops of jojoba oil, but that still does not help. My skin is extremely chaffed, dry and flakes gallore. I am extremely disapointed with this product, I never had these issues with the older moisturizer. I do not recommend this new formula at all. I wish the old formula was still sold.

Do not buy it, it does not moisturize well.

Pros:

Does not sting
Generous size for the money paid

Cons:

Does not moisturize nearly as good as the old moisturizer!
Skin goes dry after an hour or so after applying
Skin feels 'tight'
3 full pumps of moisturizer used, put extra coatings on and still no success
Previously used old moisturizer for the last 2years with no problems...... bring it back!

Old moisturizer much better New moisturizer leaves skin dry and tight ....Overall cant complain about the regimen, it has worked wonders! Thanks Dan

Pros:

I'm sorry but there aren't any

Cons:

Does not moisturize well
Expensive
Smell

I was so excited when Dan announced his new moisturizer. But after using it for a week I am searching for a new moisturizer. I used 4 pumps (FOUR!!!) and my skin would begin to feel tight after half an hour. I'm very unhappy. Please reintroduce the old formula or sell both please!

Pros:

Lichocalcone is amazing, absorbs quite well, is not very oily or greasy on skin, and overall feels good.

Cons:

Doesn't moisturize AT ALL.

I love everything about this moisturizer except one thing: IT DOESN"T MOISTURIZE!! What am I supposed to do with a moisturizer that does nothing for flakes, tight or dry skin?! I am extremely gentle on my face, use AHA regularly, and apply this moisturizer twice a day. 4 pumps with 6 drops of jojoba oil!! My skin is still unbelievably flaky and dry. I only use 1 pump of benzoyl peroxide and wash my skin gently for 10 seconds with Dan's cleanser.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Does not moisturize
Irritating
Does not relieve flakiness

The old formula was much better. I had been using the old formula for about 2 years, but now I think that I am going to have to find another brand. This new formula just isn't going to cut it.

Pros:

smooth, not irritating, doesn't shine, stick, not oily

Cons:

doesn't moisturize enough, you have to use a lot

I'm couple of weeks into Dan's regimen and it has been good so far. I do really like this moisturizer because it doesn't irritate or cause break out, but it doesn't moisturize enough when your using high dosage of BP. You have to use jojoba oil with this or I use conjunction with AHA+ gel which I find it to be very very much moisturizing.

Pros:

light consistency
absorbs well
feels nice
calms skin
(I actually like the smell of licochalcone)

Cons:

sometimes needs 2 applications throughout the day to moisturize

I was hesitant to switch over from the first moisturizer but said ah well screw it this guy knows what he is doing! I like this moisturizer better than the first one because it gets rid of the tiny redness that the benzoyl peroxide does to my face! I also like the smell better than the first moisturizer.

Pros:

Absorbs extremely well, no shine, soothing effect on skin, drastically reduced my redness.

Cons:

None

I absolutely LOVE the new moisturizer. Though the old moisturizer was did a great job in eliminating flakes and keeping skin moisturized, it burned and left my skin feeling raw and shiny, consequently adding to irritation. However, this new moisturizer completely takes away redness from my skin (especially when i put a bit of AHA+ with it) and absorbs extremely well. My skin really absorbs the moisturizer well and there are no feelings of oiliness, burning, or any sort of even minor irritation. This new moisturizer has completely reinvigorated my confidence in the regimen and after 2 month of redness from the moisturizer, I feel I can stick with the new moisturizer-powered regimen indefinitely. Fantastic job Dan!
