Pros:

Goes on easy
Good on flakes
Less redness than the previous moisturizer.
Less of a greasy look compared to the old formula

Cons:

Absorbs slowly
Strange color, afraid it may tint my skin tone a touch

I initially reviewed this and gave it a 2. I decided to give it another shot and realized that you absolutely have to use more than the old formula to receive the wonderful benefits. I used to use half a pump of the old formula because it made my face so greasy and red, but with this new formula I can use a pump and a half, and not appear as greasy, red, or flaky. Very pleased after my second go around with this lotion. :) Overall, this gets a 4.5 from me.

Pros:

Works great
Face feels great
Absorbs fast
Doesn't irritate my face

Cons:

Leaves a light yellow tint on skin
Takes 4-5 pumps to fully moisturize face & neck

This moisturizer does its job. It requires 4-5 pumps to fully moisturize but it does what its supposed to do. My face feels like nothing has been put on it. My face feels soft and healthy. No flaking at all! Absorbs in about 5 minutes for me. Love it!

Pros:

light, goes on nicely (very smooth and creamy), soothing

Cons:

price, sometimes takes a while to absorb into skin

As a little background, I am on Dan's Regimen so I use this moisturizer in conjunction with Dan's cleanser and benzoyl peroxide. I naturally have very oily (and acne-prone) skin, and I have darker skin so the yellow coloration that people have been complaining about has been imperceptible. With that in mind, I have been using this moisturizer for a month and it has been controlling my flakes fine. I have been using the full dosage and, though I get a few flakes in the last hour or so before my night shower, throughout the day any dryness is nonexistent. I apply a lot of the dosage on my chin and around my mouth and cheek bone, as that is the place that gets the driest for me. It's unfortunate that this moisturizer is getting such a bad rap, because it feels great when it goes on my skin. Actually, if I do not wait long enough (>15 minutes) after my BP application, the moisturizer creates a slight burning sensation (nothing as unbearable, to me, as mentioned in a few other reviews I've read on here), but if I allow the BP to soak in the moisturizer feels great! The consistency is runny enough to go over my skin nicely. Sometimes, when I am generous in my application, the moisturizer takes a while (perhaps <20 minutes) to fully absorb. This of course forces me to make sure I do my routine well before I leave my home, but I don't believe any perceptual greasiness or shininess persists throughout the day. I know that the moisturizer makes my skin feel great throughout the day. Also, I did not want to write this in the pros, because I don't know if it is because of the cleanser or benzoyl peroxide, but since starting the Regimen my skin has felt very smooth. I don't know if it is the moisturizer or not but I would not be surprised. While I wrote "price" as a con I realize that this is a very high-quality moisturizer. I would prefer it to be cheaper, but I feel as if Dan is by no means ripping me (a tight-budgeted college studen

Pros:

Very moisturizing/hydrating
Does not flake
Does not ball up
Lightweight
Sensitive
Calming

Cons:

None!

This product is by far much better than the previous moisturizer. Atleast I did not like it one but, then I started to USE MORE with some jojoba oil and it has quickly become my holy grail moisturizer. A lot of people have a problem with it being too water, shake the bottle before you pump it out and use more! Once you learn how to use it properly you will love it too!! (:

Pros:

I can actually USE this moisturizer!
It is lightweight, and absorbs into the skin amazingly
Very soothing, and calms my redness down

Cons:

None! I am in love!!!

I have been searching for a moisturizer for years and have tried almost everything under the sun for my oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. Basically, my skin exhibits "diva-like behavior." I either break out from it or it doesnt absorb so I end up looking like I just applied fryer grease to my face. Not the best look for anybody, especially a girl who wears makeup! I still cant believe how well this works--I almost didnt order it because I had given up on moisturizers entirely. Boy, would that have been the mistake of the year! Definitely give this moisturizer a try. I am so glad I did! Now I have a solid skin care regimen that my skin is happy with! :)

Pros:

Does not contribute to my acne
Does not leave my fave shiny
Keeps my skin hydrated
Light consistency

Cons:

Not a good choice for extremely dry skin

My skin was extremely dry and flaky when I first tried this moisturizer. This product made my dry skin worse and I had to use more than a few applications. I then tried the recommended Olay Classic SPF moisturizer for a month (morning and night). It worked to repair my broken and dry skin while on the regimen, but I started to break out from it. I went back to using the regimen moisturizer and now I absolutely love it. It keeps my skin hydrated without any flakes. I must mention that I understand the negative reviews on this product because I have experienced that other side. For me, this moisturizer worked once my skin completely repaired itself from being dry. I hope this product continues to stay, because it is extremely hard to find a moisturizer that I know won't 100% break me out. I appreciate the care and ingredients that went into making this product (including the cleanser, which is gentle and awesome).

Pros:

a little goes a long way
very moisturizing
absorbs quickly

Cons:

could be greasy if too much is applied

I love this moisturizer. I used too much the first time and I hated it because I thought it made me greasy. But after a few days I learned what was enough for my skin and now it is my favorite moisturizer I have ever used.

Pros:

Super lightweight!
Pleasant smell
Absorbs quickly
Glides easily & smoothly over skin
Clear matte finish when dry
Moisturizes well

Cons:

Occasionally leaves small areas of skin too dry if I use more BP & I'll have to reapply once during the day in those spots.

I love, love, love this product. I was using Cetaphil Moisturizer and then switched to this one. In comparison, it is so much better! It's very lightweight, 98% effective for controlling dryness and doesn't cause my skin to break out in any area. Cetaphil was too thick on my face and hard to absorb. I use this moisturizer in the am and Dan's AHA at night. I highly recommend this product!

Pros:

Moisturizes great
Matte finish No shine!
My favorite moisturizer I've ever tried

Cons:

New pumps leave hardened gunk at the tip.

No other moisturizer is better than Dan's new formula. Every other moisturizer, even the old formula made me oily and shiny but this one doesn't. It's perfect!

Pros:

No flakes
No tightness
Not greasy
No burning
Can be used as eye cream

Cons:

Will turn yellow upon profuse sweating

When I woke up this morning to smooth skin, just as I have the past week, I knew I had to write a review. I was apprehensive about receiving this new moisturizer because I'd heard so much negativity about it. "Doesn't take care of flakes!" some people declared. "Leaves my face tight!" others exclaimed. Well, I RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE! I have experienced absolutely ZERO flaking and tightness while using this moisturizer--and I only need to use one pump! My Juice moisturizer was too heavy and left my face oddly sticky in the morning and made my face look splotchy--I wouldn't dare use it during this day. This moisturizer is perfect for both night and day. Now you're probably saying to yourself, "No flaking? She probably lives in California!" In actuality I live in New York, and it's winter, and just three weeks ago my face was a flaky mess on Max Clarity! In addition, yes, this moisturize is yellow, and no, it hasn't stained any of my clothes or turned my face yellow. I still apply makeup under it. There was one day last week when I went running at night, with plans to do the night regimen afterwards during my shower. I sweated profusely on my face, and some of the moisturizer became unrubbed-in, if that makes sense, and showed up looking yellow above my eyebrow. Otherwise everything's been peachy--and did I mention I use this as an eye cream as well?
