Pros:

-Helps keep skin clear

Cons:

-The taste can put some people off it, but after drinking it for a few weeks every day you get used to the taste and i actually quite like it now :)

I started drinking it at work because i was trying to cut down on coffee so thought i'd give it a razz (It was the only other hot drink there that could help wake me up and help me through a long day!) I have been drinking about 4 cups a day now for the past few months and have noticed a lot better skin, and also feeling a bit more chirpy at work because it seems to give me a bit of energy too. I still get the very rare breakout but usually between breakouts i would still have gotten some spots and my skin would look dull but the green tea has stopped this! I had no idea when i tried it that it would've helped my skin! When i was off work for a week i stopped drinking it (because i didn't have any at home) and i noticed a few pimples starting up again. Try a few cups of day to keep your skin clear...absolute worst case scenario is that it doesn't help your acne but is still good for you and will not make it any worse (unlike most treatments which can go both ways!) It is about the same price as normal tea so is relatively cheap, give it a go :D

Pros:

Good for the body and skin. Helps in reducing weight, and has toned down the redness of my face. Less breakouts. Cheap. Attainable.

Cons:

Taste is really bad if you drink it plain, but i like to add a teaspoon of honey to take away the bitterness. I've been peeing a lot lately because i drink it 3 times a day.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I was using this a month ago and stopped because i haven't seen any changes. But the week after i stopped i noticed i was breaking out everywhere. I was still convinced that green tea was not gonna help me, so i applied honey all over my face every night, for a few days the honey was working, but after a week or so, the honey made me break out even more. So i started drinking green tea 3x a day and it was a BIG mistake for me to have discontinued using it because i saw improvements with my acne that the honey did to my face. And 1 more tip, do not talk on the phone too much ! i always talked on the phone with my boyfriend every night, and that gave me acne on me left cheek where i held the phone. A suggestion would be to clean your phone every night with rubbing alcohol, or lysol, or any disinfecting product. I still have lots of acne scars and a few active ones on my left cheek, but i'm noticing the improvements that green tea is doing to my face =)

Pros:

-reduce redness
-antioxidant
-detox body
-cheap

Cons:

-bitter
-difficult to apply

I used it as a drink and mask. After i make the drink, i will take out the green bag and tear it open to get the leaves. I add honey to it and apply on face. It makes my face glow and reduce redness. Cheap and good..

its clearin my skin up (slowly though) but i can tell its working my skin just suddenly had a HORRIBLE MONSTROUS break out and omg was it so bad and couldn't find anything to clear it up (i thought i had lost control of it) and then i did a little research on the computer and read that green tea is a anti inflammatory anti androgen and gets rid of toxins in your body so it pretty much covers everything that acne is caused by inflammation, hormones, and toxins sooooo you should try it!!!!

Pros:

Reduces inflammation, redness and duration of acne.

Cons:

Must drink about 3 10oz cups a day for it to work.

I've been drinking green tea now for about a month. 3/10oz cups of unsweetened warm Japanese green tea. Saw reduction of pimples and redness in about 10 days. Noticed a drastic reduction in redness at about a month.Cyst acne doesn't get quite as inflamed.(Do not pick at it!) Worth a try, I'd say my acne reduced by about 30% overall and redness reduced by about 50%. I'd strongly suggest using the tea in combo with a gentle cleanser (basis bar..etc), slightly warm water and no topical toners with alcohol. My acne and the associated overall redness improved when I stopped using so many chemicals and was gentle with my skin. You'll probably have similar results.

Pros:

-Tones skin
-Complements other herbal remedies really well
-Fades scars
-Clears acne within 2 weeks usually

Cons:

-Slow working
-Doesn't affect people with below par diets

Green Tea is a good combination remedy with Manuka honey i found. People drinking 2/3 cups a day will see results within 2 weeks. Although if you eat fatty foods etc. regularly it doesn't seem to have an effect other than a balance. Green Tea is slow to work but i found it tones the face very well and scars don't look so visible. Also acne outbreaks reduce rapidly each week after 2 weeks. With Manuka honey it's like a super-combination, after taking it for 4 weeks i have much less acne and scarring is reducing in visibilty.

Pros:

Organic, safe, cheap and easy

Cons:

Messy - how do you apply it??

Nobody has really broken down a good way to apply green tea yet. It's not a cream or a lotion or a powder, its basically water so you can apply it like a toner, but there are other ways. The Green Tea Moisturizer that Proactive makes is terrible - it made me break out and felt greasy, so I wouldn't reccomend that. I've found the best way to apply is a spritzer bottle that produces a fine mist (you can use an old bottle of product, just make sure you clean it out thoroughly, and clean it again!). Spray it on your face and neck after a shower or bath when your pores are open. For an additional astringent effect you can add lemon, but that will make it spoil faster. In summertime you could keep it in the refridgerator for hot days (when you're not wearing makeup). Finally, you can make a mask using aloe vera gel or avocado and pureeing one or both with a small amount of a very strong brew of the green tea or just open some used tea bags into the mix. Contrary to what some have posted, CAFFEINE IS NOT BAD FOR YOUR SKIN. Caffeine is a proven wrinkle-fighter and has been used in eye-creams and other anti-aging products for years. I think people are thinking of consuming coffee and energy drinks being bad for your skin, which is partially true.
