Pros:

- Works
-Cheap
-Easy to apply/consume
-It has other health benefit.(weight loss)

Cons:

-taste at the beginning

I was hit with moderately severe acne for the last 2 years, life was miserable and new acne keep popping up every single day. Since using green tea for the last 6 months, its has tremendously improve my skin condition. I do still have SMALL pimple which appears once in awhile but it heals faster than before as green tea helps in reducing inflammation. I am not saying that green tea is a sure remedy in curing acne but to those who are stuck in finding a solution for their acne problem, give Green Tea a try. good luck

Pros:

- Deminishes scars
- makes skin baby soft for about an hour
- No new breakouts
- Tones skin

Cons:

- dry skin which lead to small rashes that sting
- tastes a bit yuck
- My skin started to become very sensitive

I started drinking and washing my face with green tea 1 month ago and the left side of my face has had no new breakouts since I started using it. I had acne scars all along my jaw line and now you can't see them anymore. Also, my blackheads have started to dissapear as well. I still get pimples on the right side of my face every now and then but I think its because I sleep on that side and my pillow may not be as clean as I think it is. It also, ( not sure why, it may or may not be be because of the use of green tea) the skin on my cheek bones is now very dry and it started to become like that after I started washing my face with this green tea, it further lead to small rashes that really stung when I touched/washed etc, the rashes are gone but the skin around the area is still very dry. I think it was my skin getting used to the detoxification or it may be that my skin doesn't react well to the green tea. Overall though, its keeping the pimples away and I'm very happy about that! since that is what I wanted in the first place. A little dry skin is nothing anyways, I reccomend green tea for those who want a natural remedy for pimples. My face is evenly toned!

Pros:

Tastes good, steams pores, reduces acne

Cons:

nothing really

I was drinking green tea with orange (Lipton I think) and I was bored so I rubbed the tea bag on my face. The next morning my acne was better- not a lot but I only used it once, so if you use it more it would be better.

Pros:

-Tones skin
-Complements other herbal remedies really well
-Fades scars
-Clears acne within 2 weeks usually

Cons:

-Slow working
-Doesn't affect people with below par diets

Green Tea is a good combination remedy with Manuka honey i found. People drinking 2/3 cups a day will see results within 2 weeks. Although if you eat fatty foods etc. regularly it doesn't seem to have an effect other than a balance. Green Tea is slow to work but i found it tones the face very well and scars don't look so visible. Also acne outbreaks reduce rapidly each week after 2 weeks. With Manuka honey it's like a super-combination, after taking it for 4 weeks i have much less acne and scarring is reducing in visibilty.

Pros:

•temporally gave me a face lift
•made my face glow
•healed some acne scars, scabs from picking
•keeps face glowing and pimple free

Cons:

Taste bad when you actually drink it

I love love love this method. I have researched this way for quite awhile and two days ago I decided to try it. Let me tell you, my face feels and looks incredible compared to where I started. It's smooth and redness has gone down tremendously. Its a real confidence booster knowing this way to clear skin and I'm hooked for life. It's cheap and easy and makes a great improvement both inside and out as long as you drink it too. But if you do drink it I suggest mixing in honey or sugar cause it doesn't taste too great. But yeah, I'm 14 and I love it:)

Pros:

Organic, safe, cheap and easy

Cons:

Messy - how do you apply it??

Nobody has really broken down a good way to apply green tea yet. It's not a cream or a lotion or a powder, its basically water so you can apply it like a toner, but there are other ways. The Green Tea Moisturizer that Proactive makes is terrible - it made me break out and felt greasy, so I wouldn't reccomend that. I've found the best way to apply is a spritzer bottle that produces a fine mist (you can use an old bottle of product, just make sure you clean it out thoroughly, and clean it again!). Spray it on your face and neck after a shower or bath when your pores are open. For an additional astringent effect you can add lemon, but that will make it spoil faster. In summertime you could keep it in the refridgerator for hot days (when you're not wearing makeup). Finally, you can make a mask using aloe vera gel or avocado and pureeing one or both with a small amount of a very strong brew of the green tea or just open some used tea bags into the mix. Contrary to what some have posted, CAFFEINE IS NOT BAD FOR YOUR SKIN. Caffeine is a proven wrinkle-fighter and has been used in eye-creams and other anti-aging products for years. I think people are thinking of consuming coffee and energy drinks being bad for your skin, which is partially true.

Pros:

Natural, immediatly clears pores, makes skin glow

Cons:

Dries skin (but it's worth it, just use an oil free moisturizer after putting it on ur face)

Ok so i'm 14 and I've had moderate acne for about 1-2 yrs and let me say, it's so embarrassing and annoying; it controls my life basically. I break out on my chin really badly, and on occasion, my forehead. And I've tried atonnnn of remedies, washes and expiriments. So then I heard about using green tea bags on ur face (which didn't sound that crazy compared to other things I was willing to do for my acne lol) and I guess u drink slot of green tea also. And I just finised rubbing the bag on my face and it's litraly glowing. I'm not sure if it'll get rid of my acne but I'll definitly use it just because it feels great on my skin.
