Cons:

Doesn't work wonders for your teeth color...

This isn't a COMPLETE life saver when it comes to acne but it does help considering green tea is an antioxidant. It cleans out your body. So yes it does help with acne. I haven't had some in a while and I have been breaking out.

Pros:

Helped acne slightly

Cons:

makes you thirsty

I drank about two cups everyday for a while and to be honest, I'm not really sure if it helped. Overall it is very good for health and I highly recommend it. I suggest a high quality tea such as Matcha Republic of Tea. Do not get generic brands. Green tea may also have antiandrogen effects. And it has tons of antioxidants. This is something that everyone should drink everyday, without sugar of course. I bet if you replace all your soda intake with unsweetened brewed high quality green or white tea, your acne will improve a lot.

Pros:

Takes out the redness when applied to the face.

Cons:

None :)

I read online that if you let green tea brew and cool down and let it get strong (I leave the green tea brew 15-30 mins) and apply to your skin it will take out redness. Also drinking it is good.

was great but now it's over

Pros:

Taste, effect, you get a great skin

Cons:

you need to drink too much

Just fantastic. Since the first day it has worked and it's just amazing! I haven't had such great skin in YEARS. Finally my skin looks wonderful. I'm kind of unhappy about the fact that I've found this great solution that late - all that frustration with my acne for so many years... it would have never existed! Actually I'm using it with Roa because I'm not sure whether I finally can go without Roa. But even with Roa I still had acne. In combination with green tea all problems have gone! __ Edit: I needed to drink too much green tea to have good effects, green tea pills didn't work. Unfortunately I forgot which brand I drank. All the brands I used later on didn't taste good or didn't work. Result: Bad skin again. :/ Now I'm trying Dutasterid and later maybe Sprionolactone (see my other review).

Pros:

- tastes great if added with honey
- skin felt brighter with a week
- i haven't had any new breakouts in the past 3 weeks! (:

Cons:

- if nothing is added to it, it's really bitter

i started drinking maybe around 3 to 4 cups of green tea a day hoping it would help with my the acne i do get once in a while. On top of that, i would swish around the tea bag all around my face, and let the bag sit there for 10 minutes. This was 3 weeks ago. Since than i've been very happy with the results, my skin is brighter and smoother and havent had any new breakouts! The tea bag applied topically has gotten rid of most of my acne, and the best part i feel really healthy! Im not saying you're acne will go away in like 10 seconds, cause it wont. But you'll see results with in a week or so. Definitely recommend it, worth a shot (: ! <3

Pros:

* Helps blemishes heal faster
* Seems to prevent new breakouts
* Reduces the size of blemishes
* Cheap and easy to use
* Does not cause irritation when applied topically
* Tightens the pores

Cons:

* Could cause some dryness when applied topically if you have dry/sensitive skin, but this can be prevented by moisturizing afterwards
* Does not cure acne completely, but is very effective at reducing the symptoms
* Has, when applied excessively, caused a slight greenish shift in my skin tone, which is not very attractive. This can however be prevented by applying it evenly and it can be wiped away using just water and a cotton pad

I drink approximately 3-4 cups of green tea daily and apply it to my face once or twice per day. When applying it topically, I start by soaking a green tea bag in cold water for 10-15 min. Then I apply the tea bag on my face on the affected areas and wait for my face to dry a little. After that I use a non-comedogenic moisturizer to prevent dryness. The water that I soaked the tea bag in I sometimes use the next morning. I apply it with a cotton pad and moisturize again. Both drinking green tea and applying it topically has really reduced my acne significantly. It has also been very beneficial for my sensitive skin, since it does not cause irritation. I urge everyone who wants to improve their complexion to try it!

Pros:

it was refreshing and soothing to drink
i really love the taste, but it will depend on you
my face can maintain clear complexion!!!
my redness reduced
my skin tone got brighter and evened out

Cons:

it takes a while to see results... for me it took 4 weeks...
can keep you up if you drink it at night if its not caffeine free( i drink high quality japanese green tea, and it has some caffeine))
makes you dizzy if you drink too much, i recommed drinking it before or after meals

Im 14 and ive been drinking green tea ever since fith grade I started getting bad acne in 7th grade Ive always admired my korean friend's beautiful and clean skin, she said that she drinks green tea everyday. I drink it like 4 times a day, and it helps reduce my redness i really dont like to put it on my skin, because since i have combination skin, i cant be washing or applying too much water or liquid to my skin, or else my skin will be horribly dry, and get super oily after a while, thts why i only wash my face twice a day It might help you if you put it on your face, let it dry, then put on an oil free moisturizer, but i'm just trying to stick with my dermatoligists prescribed medications to apply to my skin

Pros:

- cleanses the body
- jam packed with benefits in the long run
- can dried up acne
- refreshing effect on the skin (face and around the eyes)
- can ease the redness of the blemishes left by pimples

Cons:

the unbearable taste when you're drinking it the first time

green tea is good for the body. Everybody can benefit from it when consumed properly. Green tea should be taken moderately as it contains caffeine too. Too much caffeine is no good. I'm drinking green tea like nearly one year already. At first just to know what it taste like, wondering why many Asians were so into it. And just to enjoy my Chinese buffet spree. As day passes by, it becomes part of my day, during my first month, I add tons of equal and milk into it because of the unforgiving taste, and then my 2nd month, I load it with honey, on my 3rd month up to now, I drink it just the way it is. I believe by drinking just the way it is you can max the benefit your body will get. I use it too (the tea bag) in my face and it dried my biggest pimple in 2 days, it also reduced the redness of some blemishes on my face. I applied it around my eyes especially on my eyebags to reduce its puffiness and hopefully to reduce its darkness.
