Pros:

it really does get rid of pimples

Cons:

you go to the bathroom a lot ( although thats not really too bad)

its affordable and it is definately worth it. i started drinking green tea becuase i needed the natural caffien, as i was up all night revising fo exams. within the first few days i noticed that my skin was looking more clear and the redness was reduced. I was drinking about 3 pots of tea a day ( a bit exessive, i know) i recently stopped drinking it and have noticed that my pimples have come back. so once you start you really have to stick to it.

Pros:

This absolutely works!!! It helps your skin become smoother and even glow. Gets rid of unwanted pimples as well. It also aids in weight loss when you drink it because it is a diuretic.

Cons:

Drinking more than one cup of tea per day is dangerous. My mother is a nurse who has treated patients with kidney and liver problems because of too much tea consumption. Also, because it is a diuretic, it causes you to urinate A LOT! Be prepared.

Everything in moderation is a true saying with a true meaning. Green tea is proven to treat acne when applied to your face, as well as aid in weight loss when you drink it, but don't go overboard if you want good health.

Pros:

*Reduces Redness
*Makes skin so soft
*Makes me feel more healthy
*Reduces sweet cravings

Cons:

*Does seem to have helped my acne at all

Been drinking green tea for two weeks now! Love the way it makes me feel. I replaced diet coke with green tea and water. As well as drinking it, I create a mask by breaking open the tea bag and mixing the leaves with cetaphil face moisturizer. Lather it on my face for an hour nightly and my face is so smooth. It's amazing!!! My skin needs a bit of TLC after using differin.

Pros:

it tastes good. it has caffeine that boosts my energy. it has numerous health benefits. it is easy to acquire. it makes the skin look healthy and glowing.

Cons:

somewhat expensive. i would say $ 0.50 for one tea bag because i buy the full leaf tea bags at starbucks. i believe that you have to use as close to the real stuff as possible.

you need to start drinking green tea. not only have numerous studies proven the health benefits that green tea provides but it is also suppose to speed up your metabolism. as well as this green tea is a natural diuretic which means it cleans out all the nasty stuff inside of you. it helps make your skin feel fresh and gives you a boost of energy throughout the day. i have been using this product for about 3 months and i cant say that it is a miracle cure (i still get some pimples, especially along my jaw line) but it does have its benefits. there are really no draw backs on drinking green tea except for you may have some staining on your teeth. anyways i would say you might as well give this product a try because not only does it make my skin look fresh and bright but its health benefits are beyond wonderful. get it.

Reduces redness

Pros:

Helps acne
Reduces redness
Cheap

I've been drinking 2-3 cups of green tea a day for a while now and I have noticed an improvement. It may sound a little odd but I also use the tea bag by lightly rubbing it all over my face, then washing off with water, I occasionally use the tea leaves to exfoliate aswell. It has improved my acne a fair amount, but the best thing about it for me is that it really helps combat redness and makes my skin look more radiant.

Pros:

Clear bright skin, eyes, and tongue.

Cons:

Still miss my coffee, doesn't quite cut it

I've been drinking green tea on and off for the past few months and definetly notice the difference with my pimples, general skin glow and eyes. The day's I have missed out on drinking green tea have noticed my skin looking a lot more congested. I try to aim to drink 3 cups/day and immediately notice the clour and glow improvement. I've also found a handy hint with the tea bags, pop them in the fridge;morning and night dabb them on your skin, as you would with a toner. I think firstly the cold temperature along with the tea properties offers an antinflammatory effect and therefore reduce the bumps. Good luck

Pros:

* Helps blemishes heal faster
* Seems to prevent new breakouts
* Reduces the size of blemishes
* Cheap and easy to use
* Does not cause irritation when applied topically
* Tightens the pores

Cons:

* Could cause some dryness when applied topically if you have dry/sensitive skin, but this can be prevented by moisturizing afterwards
* Does not cure acne completely, but is very effective at reducing the symptoms
* Has, when applied excessively, caused a slight greenish shift in my skin tone, which is not very attractive. This can however be prevented by applying it evenly and it can be wiped away using just water and a cotton pad

I drink approximately 3-4 cups of green tea daily and apply it to my face once or twice per day. When applying it topically, I start by soaking a green tea bag in cold water for 10-15 min. Then I apply the tea bag on my face on the affected areas and wait for my face to dry a little. After that I use a non-comedogenic moisturizer to prevent dryness. The water that I soaked the tea bag in I sometimes use the next morning. I apply it with a cotton pad and moisturize again. Both drinking green tea and applying it topically has really reduced my acne significantly. It has also been very beneficial for my sensitive skin, since it does not cause irritation. I urge everyone who wants to improve their complexion to try it!

Pros:

okay i really didn't think this would work, but it really did! i drink 3-4 cups a day. i mix the tea leaves with my dove soap and apply it to my face 2x a day. i only have 1 or 2 blemishes now! it works super fast :)

Cons:

the taste isn't amazing, but i adjusted to it.

try it! i've been using differin for about 5 months and have only seen slight improvement. i still use it after washing my face at night with the dove soap/green tea leaves mixture. i started seeing great improvement within 10 days. i hope this info will help other acne sufferers! this site is so helpful!!!! thanks <3

I have been drinking two cups of green tea to replace my two cups of coffee. I use the warm (not hot) tea bag on my face as an astringent. In the first week, the results were really great. I'm in week two and all the redness seems to have subsided. I had be religiously using other expensive products but simple green tea seems to work as well if not better.
