Cons:

Doesn't work wonders for your teeth color...

This isn't a COMPLETE life saver when it comes to acne but it does help considering green tea is an antioxidant. It cleans out your body. So yes it does help with acne. I haven't had some in a while and I have been breaking out.

Pros:

Helped acne slightly

Cons:

makes you thirsty

I drank about two cups everyday for a while and to be honest, I'm not really sure if it helped. Overall it is very good for health and I highly recommend it. I suggest a high quality tea such as Matcha Republic of Tea. Do not get generic brands. Green tea may also have antiandrogen effects. And it has tons of antioxidants. This is something that everyone should drink everyday, without sugar of course. I bet if you replace all your soda intake with unsweetened brewed high quality green or white tea, your acne will improve a lot.

Pros:

it was refreshing and soothing to drink
i really love the taste, but it will depend on you
my face can maintain clear complexion!!!
my redness reduced
my skin tone got brighter and evened out

Cons:

it takes a while to see results... for me it took 4 weeks...
can keep you up if you drink it at night if its not caffeine free( i drink high quality japanese green tea, and it has some caffeine))
makes you dizzy if you drink too much, i recommed drinking it before or after meals

Im 14 and ive been drinking green tea ever since fith grade I started getting bad acne in 7th grade Ive always admired my korean friend's beautiful and clean skin, she said that she drinks green tea everyday. I drink it like 4 times a day, and it helps reduce my redness i really dont like to put it on my skin, because since i have combination skin, i cant be washing or applying too much water or liquid to my skin, or else my skin will be horribly dry, and get super oily after a while, thts why i only wash my face twice a day It might help you if you put it on your face, let it dry, then put on an oil free moisturizer, but i'm just trying to stick with my dermatoligists prescribed medications to apply to my skin

Pros:

- will help to get rid of acne
- easy way to help you get rid of acne along with your regular treatment, you just have to drink 2-4 cups a day
- healthy :D lots-o-benifits

Cons:

- you can't miss a day without green tea cause your skin will look not so great , but only by a bit .
- bitter taste at first but you will get used to it
- need to drink for a week or two to see good results, and keep drinking forever

I was skeptical at first... But decided to try green tea out anyway. I have been drinking a cup of natural organic green tea in the morning and at night, sometimes one at noon. After 3 weeks, my skin tone looks a lot better and glowy lol. I am seeing less pimples and I don't have any right now. : ) yay I wash my face with green tea soap too at night , so that might be something for you to look into as well. Drink the tea along with your treatment and you will see results, just stick with it. It's cheap to find a box of green tea elsewhere, but in New York City it's like 5 dollars a box : ( . Good luck and I hope it works for you too. (the tea I use is all natural or organic green tea- just check the box)

Pros:

got rid of redness and acne fast!!! and evened the tone of my skin

Cons:

once i stopped drinking it i got a rash and broke out all over the lower part of my face...i dont know if it was caused by not drinking green tea

For two days, i had to get to a swim meet each morning. so me and my mom went to starbucks and the lightest thing on there menu was green tea. I got 1 venti (LARGE) green tea with no sweetners. my skin looked so nice, it had a very pretty glow and all my acne was going away! then i got off it and POOF breakout. today i realized this and im getting back and tea tea RIGHT NOW because it really helps

Pros:

Inexpensive, multiple health benefits, appears to make skin slightly less oily

Cons:

None

Use green tea in combination with other methods. If your acne is severe/moderate, do low-dose accutane (no more than 20mg a day) and combine it with green tea. If mild, then do retin-a with green tea. I am surprised green tea works, but it really does. If it's not working, drink more (e.g., 6-10 cups a day). It does in fact have strong anti-inflammatory effects.
