Pros:

-Noticeable difference within days
-Pimples are smaller
-Easy to apply

Cons:

-Flakiness
-Because the Benzoyl Peroxide pulls the bacteria up, for the first few days, you may break out even worse.

So far, the benefits have outweighed the cons. Within a few days of starting with the Clindoxyl gel, I've noticed improvements on my face. The larger pimples were much smaller and some of the redness was disappearing. I recommend you start this treatment on the night before a weekend or some day you do not have to go anywhere. The first night or two, you will wake up in the morning looking worse than before, but it is because of the benzoyl peroxide pulling the bacteria from under the skin up. This disappears within a day or two, but still a little disheartening at first. I also recommend that after washing your face in the morning (a MUST with this stuff, if you don't wash it off in the morning you will break out like MAD), you should apply some aloe vera to your face. I just use the storebought aloe vera gel, and it helps get rid of the dryness and flakiness caused by the Clindoxyl gel. Overall, it really does get rid of the acne fairly well. You just need to do some extras to make it really work. Who said getting rid of ance was easy anyway?

Pros:

Helps Keep skin Clear
Light weight/None Oily
Good for sensative Skin

Cons:

None after 5 months of use.

I suffer from moderate acne and my face has cleared up within the past month rather well. My skin regimine is this: Neutrogena Adult Skin Sylacilic Acid Wash Once a week: Vaseline Dry face: Clindamyacin Clinique Ance hydrating mostiurizer Benzoyl Peroxide when needed. I use vaseline (100% petrolleum jelly) on my face in the shower and basically put it on like a lotion after my face has been wet for about 3 minutes, then I rub it in and wash it off. It hasn't clogged my pores or irritated my skin. I do this so that my face won't dry so much and so far it's worked really good. The clindamyacin works well with helping your face not get so dried out. If you plan to use Vaseline on your fface make sure the jar says "non-comedegenic" because that lets you know that your face pores won't get clogged. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Pros:

Everything!:)

Cons:

Nothing!:)

TRY THIS!!!! I have struggled with acne all my life, I have tried every thing from oral antibiotics, birth control pills, Pro-active...even hundreds of dollars wasted on glycolic peel treatments:( Nothing has ever worked until now. I've only been using Clindoxyl for two weeks and it instantly started clearing my cystic acne within days. I have noticed a HUGE improvement already, and best of all it appears to be healing my acne scars too! It is inexpensive, incrediably effective and could possibly change your life. You have absolutely nothing to lose, and every thing to gain.

Pros:

- Clears up acne fast

Cons:

- dries up skin
- expensive

I've been using this product for over 3 years now. It worked amazingly well. Overnight, my acne disappeared. It does tend to dry up my skin, so I have to use a bit of moisturizer. The costs is a bit expensive, but overall, I think it's worth it.

Pros:

-absolutely wonderful, cleared my skin in 2 weeks!!

Cons:

-none
-the price might be an issue for some

Some may have found clindoxyl gel drying, but every night I would cleanse my face and then apply a thin layer of clindoxyl gel all over my face (carefully avoiding eye area) and then would let it dry and go to sleep. In the morning my skin was clear and not dry at all. After about 3 weeks of using it my moderate acne was actually completely gone and my skin was the best it's ever been. Sadly, I found in the 3rd month of using it that it was causing an allergic reaction. I woke up and my eyes were swollen shut and my lips were huge. It was the clindamycin.

Pros:

Gets rid of acne & the tiniest of pimples fast.

Cons:

Bleaches everything.

It works wonders. But the pharmacist said after 4 months i should stop because by then it has done all it can do. You are NOT screwed if you stop using it.

Pros:

Clears up acne very fast (usually over night. Maybe two nights if it's bad)
Very effective
Don't need to use large amounts

Cons:

Not very confortable when you go to bed. You have to wait until it dries up a little to actually sleep, else, you'll just scrape it (especially if you're a side sleeper), and stain your pillow

Very good product. It is a prescription medecine, but it works well, and is covered if you got insurance (at least it is for me). I've used it for more than a year now and I never had problems of redness, dryness, or anything like that.

Pros:

Clears skin up fast.

Cons:

Dyes fabric.

I use this product only at night before bed. I don't use any other acne cleansers. I just wash my face with warm water. Before I apply my make-up I use Aveeno mosturizer for acne prone skin. I also use clinique make-up for acne prone skin. It is all oil free and works great.

Pros:

-After using it for 3 months, my (pretty severe) comedonal acne on my forehead is completely gone.

Cons:

-Acne got worse within the first week or two

I was 17 when I started getting comedonal acne and other pimples on my forehead. I used benzoyl peroxide for a year and still kept getting pimples with no improvement. I ran out of it and stopped using any creme at all. I broke out like crazy. My acne had never been worse. I then started using Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment and my forehead improved within a week, then went back to breaking out. I still kept using it for another 1.5 months with no improvement. Finally, my doctor told me about clindoxyl. Within the first week or two my acne got worse (could be because I got my period around that time) and I was skeptical. But I kept using it. I saw major improvements within the first month. Now, after 3 months, my skin is COMPLETELY clear and I'm so happy about it. I have some post inflammatory hyperpigmentation on my forehead, but that'll fade with time and is barely noticeable. PLEASE TRY THIS.
