Pros:

My doctor originally prescribed me Retin-A but I found it was irritating and drying up my skin too much, Ive been using this for about a month now and I definetly have seen an improvement.

Surprisingly it doesn't aggravate my skin, I recommend it!

Pros:

Easy to use, always available, can be used with other acne treatments.

Cons:

My acne got worse, it bleached the hair that it touched at my hairline and my pillowcase.

Its worth the try, its not only affordable but some people have found it extremely effective. Its not painful and there are no side-effects. You can continue using your daily cleanser and moisturizer and it has no effect on your birth control. It didn't work for me, but it could work for you, and that's why I recommended it. Although it was ineffective for me, it could work for you.

Pros:

-Very Minimal Side affects
-Apply only to areas that are infected
-Does not have any odour so it can be applied when leaving the house

Cons:

-Slight residue on face after application

I started taking Clindoxyl a few months after I stopped taking Tetracycline, which is another common acne prescription. Although tetracycline was successful in preventing breakouts and removing acne on the majority of my face I was still getting breakouts on my forehead. I noticed positive results within 3 weeks. The acne of my forehead had subsided and I was not experiencing any breakouts. I did not notice any major side affects.

Pros:

- It gets rid of acne
- Reduces redness
- Clear my acne over the years

Cons:

- Bleached some of my clothes and towels
- Burned my skin a bit after exfoliating and aplying the cream

It is very good to use if you want to clear up your acne a bit quicker than usual. You can also get refills when you run out. Also it doesnt cost much if you have health insurance. Ask your doctor or Dermatologist if Clyndoxyl Gel is right for you!

Pros:

- Gets rid of pimples and whiteheads
- Dries clearish
- Affordable! If you have health insurance

Cons:

- Goes on kinda gooey (but I like that since its easy to spread out)

I love this product!!! I went to the doctors and just asked if i should see a dermatalogist since my skin isn't great and she just prescribed this gel to me and said to use on pimples! It made all of them go away, and now I get an ocassional white head but its barely noticable! I even had people compliment me on my skin!!!!! I NEVER got that before. Love love love it!

Pros:

Popped pimples disappear by the next day
Cystic acne minimised after a night

Cons:

Expensive for the small amount
Packaging gets difficult to use towards the end

I've been using this extensively on my popped pimples (I know I shouldn't be popping them, but still). Once I've squeezed out the pus, I slab some on it and by the next day, the swelling and redness is gone! I've been using it on cystic acne & it has caused the swelling to go down by quite a bit.

Pros:

- prevents pimples/pustles
- overtime it reduces blackheads
- brightens complexion or helps to fade marks (either one)
- tube lasts 4 months

Cons:

- may come with an intial breakout which lasted me 2 months
- expensive without insurance
- kinda dry/irritating but not as much as other bp treatments

I have been using this for about 4 months, i do not get breakouts anymore. The intial purge was tiny whiteheads that came and went overnight. It left behind no mark or anything. Try it out for sure.

Pros:

Dries skin fast. Skin feels nice and smooth in the morning. My complexion looks more even in the mornings. Easy to use. Affordable with health insurence.

Cons:

Kind of irritates my skin a bit if I apply it after exfoliating. DO NOT apply if you have been in the sun during the day (burns badly). bleeched my towels.

I have used it on and off for a year. It works very well. Not neccissarily getting rid of pimples, but drying them out so they will go away faster. I switch between this and differin (a product that unclogs hair follicles and pores). I find Clindoxyl a better product. Easier to apply. I find it makes my skin feel better than the differein. I don't know if it was Clindoxyl, or the Differin, or a combo of both, but I got my eye brows waxed, (not for the first time, had it done a bunch and it was fine) but the wax peeled my skin off. So my eye lids were very sensitive and were burnt and scraped from where my skin came off. So be careful with waxing and using the product. I was told, that you can't stay on an oral/antibiotic forever. But a lotion you can. So it's better to go with something topical, than taking something orally.

Pros:

I found that it worked realitivly fast!!!
It did not dry my skin...I only put it in the areas that I was prone to break out, not all over my face. No need to waste a good thing.

Cons:

Haven't found one.

You do have to use it on a reg basis, because that's how medication works. I would only recommended it to a person that has a slight problem with acne...
