Pros:

Response to reviewer with sheet and towel damage. I feel for you. Whenever I use something bleachy, I throw a white towel over my pillow (and luckily all my towels are white so I can bleach them when I wash). Clearly your linens are costly, so..

Cons:

this may not work, but you should try to dye them back to the original color. You will have to use HOT water and let them soak awhile, but you may save them! Such a pity. I have many a shirt collar with bleachy marks on it.

Have not used the product by the way, just heard of it, but from the looks of it all posters are in Canada. I use Clindamycin which must be similar (but mine in an alcohol-based liquid that is applied through an applicator all over), it works quite well, but sounds like Clindoxy would be a great spot treatment.

Pros:

Seems to work very well so far.

Cons:

I'm soooo pissed off! The Bleach in that cream ruined my new nice set of towels and brand new 800 thread count (not cheap) Bed Sheets I was as careful as I could but now everything is garbage!!! BEWARE!!!!

Hmm, Most of the cost was covered by insurance, it's helping acne matters. But I'm out $500.00 worth of linen in 3wks!

Pros:

It seems to be clearing up my skin a little bit , but I've only been using it for 2 days. Hoepfully it will continue to clear it up!

Cons:

I'm a little nervous when I read other people's comments on the setbacks such as more breakouts and rashes when you go off it. I'm hoping that doesn't happen but think it might. I also am experiencing SLIGHT dryness but not much.

I'm using this at night with Differin in the morning and Doxycycline as well and I'm hoping that I see some difference. It seems like acne isnt really something that can be cleared up, because everyone suffers some sort of withdrawal after stopping these medications. I hope that if anything Clindoxyl will clear the little minor breakouts and I can stop wearing makeup which will help.

Pros:

- helped control my acnee

Cons:

- At first made my skin REALLY flacky and red, and it burn a lot!
- expensive if you don't have insurance

My doctor prescribed this to me to use together with Differin, since Differin alone was not doing a good enough job. At first Clyndoxyl really burned my face, I had to take it off after putting it on. In the first months my face was really flaky, I had to apply a lot of moisturer more than 3-4 times a day to reduce de flakyness. After a few months my face got used to it and it stopped burning and flaking. It make my acnee better than when using Differin alone, but I still had blackheads on my nose and new breakeouts here and there, sometimes bad ones. Then after 3 years it just stopped working for me, I started breaking out a lot again, so I had to change medication (again...)

Pros:

Seems to reduce redness

Cons:

Extremely drying

Have used for over a year. Tube of gel has a shelf life once opened of 4 months. Bleaches out skin which is a problem if you are just using in one area of the face. Found it interacted with something as I ended up with burn type marks near eyes. Does not seem to be reducing redness anymore - back to the doctor.

Pros:

Prevents major breakouts of acne.
Clears out redness.

Cons:

Makes skin dry and itchy.
Has given me more greasy skin than before the treatment.

I wasn't that happy with my results. I was told this should be able to remove my acne, but all it did was prevent new major breakouts. I still have problems with it, but not in a major scale as before. Also it seems to have dried out my skin, and provoked greasy skin in my time using it. If you a product that can give you quick solutions, but not major effects, sure Clindoxyl works fine. It'll help you prevent new breakouts, keep your skin fairly clean, but it won't do miracles. It didn't with me anyway.
